“I ordered one of the new smoothies this past monday and not only was it delicious the young girl working was excellent. this was my first time at creations and i had an amazing experience. she had dark brown hair and a contagious smile. the place was up to par when it comes to cleanliness and service. i will definitely be back!“

“This place is, with out a doubt, the best Acai/Chia pudding place I have ever been to. On top of that, the chia pudding recipe tis shop is using is something distinctly different from other chia pudding I've had. It's blue, and tastes far more awesome than normal chia pudding.I accidentally discovered this little shop while visiting a friend near Montclair. I live in NYC - caught a train to Montclair Bay St station, and wandered up the block from there looking for some treats to share with friends.Jackpot.I don't live near Montclair, and this location is not convenient to me. However, I now go out of my way to visit this shop whenever I'm passing through the nearby train line.Worth it.If you (please) bring boomchia to downtown Brooklyn, I would eat there everyday. As it stands I'll have to settle for once a week.“

“This is an excellent smoothie and acai bowl place, with a very fitting name! All of the fruit was fresh and smoothies are made to order. I was able to customize a smoothie with almond milk, spinach, banana, Nutella, blueberries, and avocado. It was actually surprisingly good and hit just the spot. So glad to have found this healthy juice/smoothie place in Jersey City!“

“My two nieces and I popped in this morning on our way to the Natural History Museum. I’ll admit I was hesitant but thankfully I listened to my nieces! I had the avocado and eggs in a crepe, which was the best gluten-free sandwich I have ever had. Did not miss the bread at all. My 14 year old chose the Nutella crepe with banana and the 9 ounce Açaí bowl. Oldest selected one of the big bowls … it was a work of art. Highly recommend and we will be back on our next trip. “Wonderful drinks and food. My daughter suggested we stop in and now we try to frequently order here. The staff is excellent. The hot Latte is a very fresh coffee drink, perfect morning drink.The fresh juices are a great start to the day. Enjoying the food here promotes the healthier lifestyle.“

“Cute and fun brunch spot in the west village.. some cool, kind of on the healthier side options. They dont take reservations so had to wait 20mins on a Saturday morning which was fine. Service was good, food was nice, nothing show-stopping. But would defo go again and will try the other locations.“

“Perfect start to the day! We stayed here 4 or 5 times during our week in NY for breakfast. We tested porridge, acai bowls and smoothies. The "Hell's Kitchen Sink" tastes awesome (with peanut butter and cocoa nips.) The smoothies Boo Berry, Gymbuddy and Energy Boost are each made with almond or coconut milk and protein powder .We loved everything! The service is very friendly and There are only a few seats, so we were there early (about 8 / 9h) and had no problems getting a small table.Now we are back home and miss the delicious bowls!“

“Great coffee and tea! Perfect staff: they all care deeply about their craft, and they want you to enjoy it as much as they do.And apparently it’s a climbing gym too! It’s a bizarre place, and I love it.There are books and games around, and some cool seating.“

“I absolutely love this place. I come here once or twice a day. The smoothies are excellent. My favorites are peach’s delight and peanut butter punch. Most times I add some combination of mango, coconut and/or spinach to the peanut butter one. I haven’t tried the juices or açaí bowls yet but I’ve heard many great reviews from people I trust. The customer service in this tiny gem of a store is also A1. They care about their customers, I can tell. I hope you guys stay open for a very long time.“

The staff made our bowls quickly and the person working the register was very patient with us as we decided what bowl we were going to get. “Great service- fast- big open space inside with plenty of tables and a tv. The juice was delicious- ordered the Rebecca Romain and it had a great kick! The sea moss shot was also good. I've never had one before so I was nervous but it tasted just fine. I felt very healthy“

“The food was very pleasing and had a really nice base. The base was tangy, sweet, sour and savory. The toppings were filling up the top and very nicely placed. Also they're mini size was perfect and small but filling. The service was very well and the workers did not take that long. I would say we waiting less than a minute for the acai bowl to be ready! Also, I had really enjoyed the music playlist, and had a nice interaction about music with the worker. The atmosphere was very nice, they're were nice, bright colors, a comfy couch and clear menus. In addition, they were very considerate and added a charging station, even though i did not use it, it seemed very nice. Love this place and I ordered the Purple Rain. My first time and this place made a really nice impression on me.“

“As someone stuck at home battling COVID and its symptoms, a smoothie from Playa Bowls was a bright spot in my otherwise lousy day. Full of flavor, Playa Bowls has a nice assortment of smoothies and açaí bowls that can serve as both a sweet treat or a nutritious meal. DoorDash allowed me to order from home and get my smoothie in less than 20 minutes, which is a huge win. I'll definitely be back (hopefully in person)!“

I’ve lived right above this place and for the first time I went downstairs went through the front door and I was greeted by which I assume the owners daughter she was really sweet and nice and gave me options because I told her it was my first time and so I got the protein shake which I finished in 2.5 seconds and I ordered the grand slam bowl and it’s so much better then playa bowls it feels and looks healthier will def be coming back everything was so good and soooo tasty!“

Service is quick even though the place can get very busy. Not the best seating options for dine in (more outside seating so raining days especially), so I would suggest carry out.“

“What hours is this establishment actually open? My DoorDash and Uber Eats orders are consistently accepted and then cancelled without explanation. I've tried the smoothies a few times and they are great. It's unfortunate that the hours posted are for an 8 AM open when that seems incorrect.“

“Came here for their Madison Square drink which sounds amazing, only to realize they rarely make anything fresh and made-to-order. They bottle the drinks in the front, and if they run out, you're out of luck - which is what happened with the Madison Square. Not a fan of not having a juice freshly made. Got the new green smoothie which was good, but a bit too heavy on the lemon. If I'm back in the area, would come back for that Madison Square.“

“This is my SPOT! I come here after workouts and love the classic açaí bowl. The tropical pitaya and peanut butter protein bowls are also very good. I've never eaten inside, but it's decent decor (just get to-go). The girls making the bowls are pretty quick and always offer a smile. This is the only place I get my açaís in Jersey!“

“I met a work colleague here the other day as we were looking for someplace to set up for the afternoon prior to an evening event. I ordered espresso and it was excellent. I then ordered a chicken sandwich with grilled peppers and onions, it was very very good. The Cafe is constantly busy and there are teenagers everywhere because I'm guessing there is a high school near by. The bathroom was impeccably clean!“

“Very good option for desserts and some other baked goods. The prices are high for the quantity and ingredients.... But people are used to paying for a treat like what is sold here. Monday is beautiful, fresh, clean and welcoming. The attention is good! They should just review the prices and lower them a little and maybe then they will have many more customers and earn more from volume sales than from one-to-one sales.“

“Got the power bowl which has protein powder mixed in with the acai. I also got honey which was an extra $1.50 (crazy for a literal drizzle of honey). Ended up being kind of expensive, $17 for an acai bowl is not ideal. But it was good acai. Nice and smooth, good flavor. Liked how there was granola on the bottom layer as well as the top.“

“If you ever want a tasty snack go here. They have all types of smoothie type beverages & fruit bowls. My bowl of choice is the Nica Bowl. It's pretty much like smashed up banana on the lower half of the bowl. The rest of it is filled with slices of strawberry & banana, crunchy granola, tiny bits of chocolate chips, peanut butter & walnuts. Its a small bowl but it'll definitely hold you over til your next meal. It's so good :)“

“I recently attended a Glen Rock Chamber meeting at Sweetberry Bowls. I loved the atmosphere right away. Before the meeting began I ordered a smoothy, the Strawnana - a mixture of strawberry, banana and coconut milk. It was delicious! During the meeting we got to hear how the owners place a high emphasis on their menu choices being made with natural ingredients with no added sugars. There are lots of healthy choices. I can't wait to go back and taste one of their bowls. This is definitely a place worth checking out.“

“Playa Bowls is a great place to grab a quick and healthy lunch. I usually get an açaí bowl; today I got an oatmeal. Everyone who’s helped me has always been helpful, easy going, and happy to make substitutions on a dime (ex: strawberries for blueberries). I cant speak for all locations but Playa Bowls at 27th and 7th in NYC is quick and efficient as well. I can be in and out in less than five minutes, which is crucial for me. I always know I will get quick, accurate service and fresh food, so it’s a frequent lunch destination.“

“Açaí bowls were on point. Only one staff taking orders and making food so it was a little slow but she was very nice and our bowls were made with care. They have coffee, tea and food so I was glad to be able to get healthy options. Joel could have been topped with honey to make it even better.“

“Putting 5 stars to be nice but it should be less- the banana they put in my smoothie was underripe and flavorless. I saw the stack of bananas they had and they were all underripe. I also tried a blueberry lavender baked donut and it was more like a very dense cake or brownie without much flavor.
