“I went here with my friends on a Friday night around 10, and there was no line, so ordering was very quick, and the worker had prepped most items, so you received your order immediately, and she was very nice. I had the Tequila Sunrise. It was $18 and was very good as far as sorbet goes. There wasn't much liquor to it. You could taste the white wine in the strawberry sorbet a bit, but the mango just tasted like standard mango sorbet. My friends had a scoop of the hazlenut coffee flavor, and it was very good, but not much liquor flavor either. If you're a big liquor person, you might be a bit underwhelmed. Nonetheless, for the amount of sorbet/ice cream you get in the cup, along with the toppings it comes with and the glass, the $18 is fair, in my opinion and I would go back to try other flavors/creations.“

“Our friends hosted their wedding at Deity this last weekend and if I had one word to sum up the experience, I would say it was magical! The venue itself is absolutely stunning and beautifully unique! There are multiple levels that can host an array of different settings and vibes, which I loved! We started our day on the fourth level in the bridal suite, which was spacious enough for 14 of us to get ready. We then moved on to the fifth level, which is a beautiful rooftop terrace for photos. Moving on to the third floor, we attended the wedding ceremony in a room that had been beautifully decorated to suit the tastes of the bride and groom. This room was flipped over for dinner as we had cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres on the second level bar area, which was adorned with soft lighting and an intimate seating area. Finally, we moved downstairs to the first level, which was a room with beautiful art deco ceilings, to dance the night away for the reception. Although the venue itself was a gem, what impressed me the most was the staff and service. The food was absolutely delicious, but more than that, they seemed to think of every single detail to make it an unforgettable experience. The owners were personally involved in the process from beginning to end, which made me feel confident in knowing someone had such a personal investment in the event. “To say that I was impressed is an understatement. We attended a wedding this past Sunday for a daughter of our very dear friends, and everything was top-notch. From the moment we pulled up when the valet took our car, it set the right tone for the evening. We were greeted by several staff members who offered various welcoming drinks and then we were ushered into a giant room for an elaborate cocktail hour. The food was out of this world. There were so many stations: sushi, charcuterie, Asian, Mexican, paella, seafood, meat carving, I can't even remember them all, plus, there was a galore of passed appetizers. There were two bars setup on each end of the room, so you never had to wait long for a drink. The staff members were always on hand to clear your plates, and making sure you did not need anything. Then, a ceremony and the party began in its earnest! The dinner was family-style appetizers and then an entree for each person and for dessert, besides the cake, there was a huge Viennese table and stations. I have never seen such variety and we are really spoiled by amazing banquet menus at the Russian restaurants. This was above and beyond. The service throughout the entire dinner was lovely. Bringing us drinks, keeping an eye on things running smoothly. This was surely an affair to remember, and The Grove has done right by our friends who worked very hard to make this wedding a celebration of love and family.“

My only complaint was the attendance that took care of my daughter..... or should I say was supposed to take care of her. They did help with pictures etc... they asked many times if we needed additional help but I had to go to clean the room can we have more champagne that should be done automatically I should not have had to run up and down stairs to ask to have a room tidied up and also to get more champagne also we had to ask for hot coffee.,. My biggest disappointed was the mai'tred at the wedding not once came up to my husband or I or even the bride or groom once asking us if we needed a drink he introduced himself said he was there to help us after that no show. We waited on long lines just to get a drink. My other daughter's wedding we were waited on hand and foot. Especially the bride and groom should have been treated differently. lastly a little disappointed my baskets for the bathroon were never put out again I had to find the attendance to ask for them that something I should not have to do. When we received the baskets back they were empty there was no way every wedding guest took everything out of the baskets just kinda strange they wold keep everything????? Again the hall is great, amazing ......but the staff running the wedding questionable. If you go ask for Joe'l you will love her!!!! She's the best!!! From my initial contact right through til the end of the party, I knew this was the caterer for us. Jeffrey and his assistant were extremely professional. I loved his “if you want it, we can make it happen” approach. We had a wonderful selection of light bites that were all outstanding. They were prepared and served (and cleaned up!) right at home, making it a very intimate and fun evening. We were so impressed that we have already booked him for our holiday party in December. “This is the only place in the entire city that I would recommend people go to if they want an authentic New York pizza experience. The slices are massive (take-up-an-entire-plate HUGE), the sauce is zippy and flavourful, and the pepperoni is to die for. I would personally recommend a slice of the pepperoni and bacon, or the Sicilian deep dish. The workers are all very nice and service was quick and efficient. They also have a nice selection of cold drinks to get with your pizza. The joint was right across the street from our hotel so it was very convenient for us to grab a couple slices whenever we wanted. The best bonus is that the place is open late, which meant that we were able to get pizza at about 12:30 at night after catching Billy Joel at MSG. Overall, this is a fantastic pizza place and I would highly recommend it.“

We live in Oregon and got married in New Jersey, but Chris made the long distance communication and logistics a breeze. Day of, he sent a great team, and they were able to navigate the day smoothly, and make it ever the more easier for my husband and I to just enjoy our day and not be asked a thousand questions. I was promptly greeted by a very friendly welcoming waitress. Everything on the menu looked great and I had a hard time selecting something, so I asked my waitress to recommend something. She recommended the Carne Asada Burrito. I ordered that and was not disappointed. The burrito was enormous, full of well seasoned steak, cheese and rice. It was so good.
