“NO JOKE! The best empanada I've ever had!!!Its golden, flaky pastry shell was perfectly crisp. The filling itself was chock’full of seasoned meats, onions, and a hint of spice. Every bite was a burst of savory goodness, making it a memorable and must-try treat for anyone seeking an exceptional empanada.Vegetarian options: Cheese all day! Plenty of options for vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: Some of the nicest people in the world run this store. They are friendly and what kid DOESN’T like empanadas????!!!!!“
“My wife's German grandma loves this place, and often treats us to the family style special. The food is good (certainly the best BBQ you can get in NYC) and the service is always excellent. It does tend to get busy and loud, sometimes louder than is comfortable, but it's always a good time. We went once for lunch, and since it wasn't as busy, that was the best experience we had there. Prices are pretty good, especially for Manhattan. Always have a great time here and love to get good BBQ even this far north!Kid-friendliness: A bit loud for kids, but they put out a coloring page with crayons. There are a few racy pictures on the wall, but they're high up in the corner and my 4 year old didn't notice. She's too focused on the excellent mac and cheese“
“The ingredients matter. Chef Guo uses the best organic & fresh ingredients to cook them to their best natural flavor. I love the magic he does with these ingredients. The presentation and restaurant decor just put his cuisine to the next level! Highly recommend this place to folks who appreciate nature, organic and yummy food and fine cooking skills.“
“Best pizza to get when ur faded as a mf I highly recommend coming here drunkVegetarian options: Yeah but u a bxtch if u a vegetarianDietary restrictions: Just hit the gym if u fatParking: Jus walk u lazy fxckKid-friendliness: Yes but fk them kidsWheelchair accessibility: Yea“
“If you live in Northern NJ and have not been to The Venetian you are truly missing out! The Venetian is one of the top wedding venues in New Jersey and they make that very well known! With their amazing staff ready to help you with everything to their top level food you will not have a bad time!As a wedding photographer one of the worst things that can happen is going to a wedding venue where there are no photographic opportunities especially when it is raining outside! Thankfully the venetian is filled with wall to wall beauty that if it is raining you will still end up with amazing photos (see photos i have taken attached to this review).I HIGHLY recommend this wedding venue, you will not be disappointed!“
“I had my baby shower this past weekend at Mamma Vittoria Catering and it went amazingly. The staff was extremely nice and attentive. The food was great and they even wrapped up any food that wasn't eaten at the end of the event for me to take home. The process of booking, making decisions on food, music, table set up, and decorations, along with dropping stuff off days before all went extremely smoothly.I highly recommend using their services!“
“My sister and I went to Urban Vegan Kitchen for the first time this week. We both absolutely loved it. The food, the service, the vibe…all great. I had the “chicken” and waffles and my sister had an empanada and chips, salsa and guacamole. All delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu.“
“We were a group of 25 with a preset menu of 4 selections. The service was very friendly, the meals were delicious and service was great. We had a birthday to celebrate and you joined us in song and music. Thank you for a memorable lunch with our visitors from Israel.“
“I love coming to this location! The service is always on point. Attentive waitstaff and fresh tasting food. The drinks are delicious as well. The ambiance is so nice and the music was a nice mix of Spanish music. If you're lucky enough to have Luis as your server he is amazing!“
“I went here with my friends on a Friday night around 10, and there was no line, so ordering was very quick, and the worker had prepped most items, so you received your order immediately, and she was very nice. I had the Tequila Sunrise. It was $18 and was very good as far as sorbet goes. There wasn't much liquor to it. You could taste the white wine in the strawberry sorbet a bit, but the mango just tasted like standard mango sorbet. My friends had a scoop of the hazlenut coffee flavor, and it was very good, but not much liquor flavor either. If you're a big liquor person, you might be a bit underwhelmed. Nonetheless, for the amount of sorbet/ice cream you get in the cup, along with the toppings it comes with and the glass, the $18 is fair, in my opinion and I would go back to try other flavors/creations.“
“Wow, this was one of the best meals I've ever had. Every dish was perfectly cooked, seasoned and presented. The flavors were subtle and delicate and each bite was exquisite, you could tell the chefs cared deeply about their food. I am blown away.“
“Our friends hosted their wedding at Deity this last weekend and if I had one word to sum up the experience, I would say it was magical! The venue itself is absolutely stunning and beautifully unique! There are multiple levels that can host an array of different settings and vibes, which I loved! We started our day on the fourth level in the bridal suite, which was spacious enough for 14 of us to get ready. We then moved on to the fifth level, which is a beautiful rooftop terrace for photos. Moving on to the third floor, we attended the wedding ceremony in a room that had been beautifully decorated to suit the tastes of the bride and groom. This room was flipped over for dinner as we had cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres on the second level bar area, which was adorned with soft lighting and an intimate seating area. Finally, we moved downstairs to the first level, which was a room with beautiful art deco ceilings, to dance the night away for the reception. Although the venue itself was a gem, what impressed me the most was the staff and service. The food was absolutely delicious, but more than that, they seemed to think of every single detail to make it an unforgettable experience. The owners were personally involved in the process from beginning to end, which made me feel confident in knowing someone had such a personal investment in the event. I’d highly recommend Deity for a wedding or other special social or corporate event.“
“Worked with DMC for a work event and they were top-tier in their communication and presentation. The event went off without a hitch and leading up to the event, the team was incredibly helpful and great with communicating the moving pieces and parts. They also provided great recommendations and their top recommendation was the biggest hit at the event! They're not the cheapest, but they're great at what they do and I would definitely work with them again.“
“Just A Nibble made our daughter's bridal shower PERFECT! From the minute Nicholas walked through the door on the day of the event, he put me entirely at ease -- I knew that everything would be great, and it was. Just A Nibble's waiters and bartender had the perfect touch, seeming to float through the crowd, unperturbed by tight spaces. They made everything easy and fun. And the food was delicious (and abundant!). I can't recommend Just A Nibble highly enough.“
“I want to thank Henry for taking my last minute Thanksgiving order. First time I ordered And it won't be the last!! The food was delicious and so fresh. I was hoping to have leftovers for the next day, but my guests had seconds and thirds and did not leave a grain of rice!!!!“
“Fallier Foods is absolutely amazing!! From the moment I started communicating with Sharon, she was awesome, very patient, kind and extremely professional. She treated me like I was a l I ng standing clients and she delivered the food, 37 minutes earlier than the discussed time, which was amazing. She came in set up and was out of the way after her instructions. And all of our wedding guest were in awe of the presentation and the flavors of all the food. The guest were raving about it, there was plenty left over and I thought they were going to fight over who got the last bite, it was so delicious. I will always use FALLIER FOOD for my future events.“
“If you're searching for a culinary haven that combines traditional Italian flavors with a modern twist, look no further than this Pizzeria. Nestled in the heart of downtown, this gem of a pizza joint delivers a dining experience that's nothing short of exceptional. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the inviting aroma of freshly baked dough and savory toppings. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and vibrant, making it ideal for intimate dinners or lively gatherings with friends and family.“
“It’s casual but polished casual.$5.25/ Freddo Cappuccino. It was very good. This was the item I was most impressed with at Pi Bakerie, over and above the pastries and baked dishes. If I come back to Pi Bakerie it will be specifically for the Freddo Cappuccino. I could envision myself deliberately making a detour via SoHo for this Freddo Cappuccino. Which is pretty cool that means they have a “destination item” on their menu.I’d be curious to compare with Café Lyria who also make reportedly excellent Greek Freddo Cappuccino (this is like the Italian Schakerato). Also curious to try their Peinirli (“cheese boat”). Looked delicious.“
“I recently attended my neice's Shabbas Shevah Brachos and Heimish was the caterer for the all the meals. All the food served was fresh and delicious with a homemade feel. The chicken soup served Friday night was absolutely superb and above expectations when being served from a commercial kitchen! It was hearty and hot along with the matzah balls and noodles! For all three meals (Friday night, Shabbas lunch and Shalesh Suedes) the courses were plated nicely. We have a number of family members that required strict gluten free options which was met absolutely beyond expectations! Everything was clearly labeled and kept clean away from any cross contamination and indeed no one walked away with any reactions!I absolutely reccomend Heimish for any and all types of simchas for your catering needs!“
“Had the Linguine Nere con Gamberi, Calamari e Pomodoro i.e., squid ink linguine with shrimp, squid and tomato, and the Insalata di Finocchi Mele Rosse Pinoli Ricotta Salata, i.e., Fennel salad with red apple, pine nuts & ricotta cheese. Both were pleasant. Relative to the salad, the pasta was more delicious. The sauce was delightful -- I wished I had had the bread with the sauce!! I had taken the bread out first and set them aside and forgot about them until I finished the pasta. The bread was a generous portion, and was well baked and I could enjoy it on its own.“
“I only discovered Little Grocery recently and I am in love! All of the sandwiches I've ordered so far are amazing, with Thanksgiving on a Roll being my fav so far. The people working there are super sweet. Overall, hands down one of my favorite lunch spots!“
“Lovely chocolates here :) I had ordered them online for gifts and went to pick them up, and ended up getting another box after I tried two of their samples -- they were that good! The owner is very friendly and kind as well. I picked up the chocolates on a rainy day, and he put the chocolates in two bags and put tape over them so that they don't get ruined by the rain. That was really nice of him to consider and do!“
“Wow this was incredible, there service was amazing. After getting a free sample of the coffee cheese cake a day before we knew we had to come back and try the food and it didn’t disappoint. Make sure to try a slice of the best cheesecake when your in town you won’t be “
“We contacted Dish on short notice to help us with a reception we were hosting and they provided exceptional service and food. The Event Director and Producer provided great guidance in our food selections, handled all of the details seamlessly, and were even able to secure a permit on our behalf. All of the reception attendees commented on how great the food was. Highly recommended for corporate events.“
“After visiting the Museum of Moving Image in Astoria we walked up the block and had a nice lunch at Pig Beach BBQ. My husband and I split the sampler platter which we both enjoyed. My favorite was the pulled pork and my husband’s favorite was the ribs.We were both surprised that it was more of a cafeteria style set up instead of sit down. To me that was probably the only drawback. But it was a very laid back casual atmosphere which a lot of people may find appealing.“
“Our company held a 2 day conference and we ordered catering for breakfast for 1 day and lunch for 2 days. Everything was great! The food was very tasty and flavorful. There was a lot of food that served everyone and a variety of options. Delivery was on time and communication was very professional. I would definitely recommend Gotham Catering for your catering needs. This will be the go to catering for future events.“
“Ate here twice last weekend. We are hooked! The pork and vegetarian spring rolls are great, the pork and chicken entrees are scrumptious and the baked goods / desserts are outstanding. I can't wait to try the eggplant entee and dishes which come with garlic rice. Extra kudos for the staff. Service was amazing. Our new favorite restaurant“
“Their Gluten Free Bagels are amazing. I ordered online which was a mistake - it said it would take 45 minutes to be ready but when I walked over there 5 minutes later it was ready (phew!) and I think I was charge a fee. So ORDER but not online!Love love love the bagels.“
“I’m coming here for its handmade tofu but honestly that was the most disappointing dish we ordered. The tofu was very dense and firm, can’t really tell the difference between the three flavors. The other dishes are surprisingly good, especially love the bossam!“

“Jeffrey and his team were exceptional. They arrived right on time and hit the ground running. The food was delicious; dishes were well executed. They were courteous and took great care of our guests. They thought of all the little details and the kitchen was left spotless. We will definitely use them again.“
“Thank you so much to the chefs and staff of Food Trends for a really delicious luncheon for the staff and faculty at our professional school yesterday, a party of 80+. We did a "themed menu" and the chicken, fish, and vegetables were all delicious. So often the vegetable dishes and sides are afterthoughts but the beans and potatoes were scrumptious and perfectly cooked. I appreciated that they brought cards that identified the food items and indicated if the food was vegan, gluten free, etc. (most caterers haven't done that in my experience). The staff who dropped off the food were prompt and friendly. And Kelly, rep from the catering team who assisted me with the order, was helpful and responsive. All around I had an exceptional experience with Food Trends.“
“A Dominican pizza restaurant that shows Formula 1 races?! A dream come true! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Amazing service and even better food! We had the chimi pizza and breakfast pizza. They were phenomenal! We are definitely going to make this our spot to watch Formula 1 races and have yummy food with friends. Can’t wait to go back!“
“Gottscheer Hall is a fixture of Ridgewood and has been for decades. It does an excellent job at bridging the gap between the old neighborhood and the infusion of the new crowd in a way in which everyone feels welcome. The food is excellent and reasonably priced and their selection of German beer pretty much guarantees something for everyone. The bartenders are also the best in the area, friendly, personable and great to chat with while sipping on a cold one. I've made many memories and friends in that place from all walks of life. I recommend it to everyone. Easy 5 stars. Check it out!“
“What’s the Kitch? Catered my husband’s 75th birthday party for 24 people in our apartment in Manhattan. From my initial contact right through til the end of the party, I knew this was the caterer for us. Jeffrey and his assistant were extremely professional. I loved his “if you want it, we can make it happen” approach. We had a wonderful selection of light bites that were all outstanding. They were prepared and served (and cleaned up!) right at home, making it a very intimate and fun evening. We were so impressed that we have already booked him for our holiday party in December. Five stars all the way!“
“Walked in randomly on a Friday and got the toro special. It was a decent price for toro and it was well presented + quickly served. It wasn't too flavorful since the rice wasn't that seasoned. I relied heavily on the soy sauce and wasabi instead and it was a decent experience. It was a lot smaller than it looks though. I don't generally eat much as I'm a small person but I was easily able to finish the roll + handroll and still wanted more food. Overall I would go back and try other things there. Also saw another reviewer mention that they had soup with the lunch special but I didn't get any soup and it doesn't seem to mention soup being included on the lunch special menu. Just FYI“
“I've used Chris now for three events and have nothing but remarkable things to say about the guy. He's easily the single most professional, efficient and all around best caterer/chef I've ever com across. From planning an intimate 20 person get together to a 4 hour, 150 person rooftop carnival, Chris can take a 30 second conversation and turn it into something beyond your wildest dreams. The man is an absolute legend and the only caterer in NYC you need to consider using. He's sharp as a tack and has a staff unlike any other ready and will to help in any and every way necessary.“
“This is the only place in the entire city that I would recommend people go to if they want an authentic New York pizza experience. The slices are massive (take-up-an-entire-plate HUGE), the sauce is zippy and flavourful, and the pepperoni is to die for. I would personally recommend a slice of the pepperoni and bacon, or the Sicilian deep dish. The workers are all very nice and service was quick and efficient. They also have a nice selection of cold drinks to get with your pizza. The joint was right across the street from our hotel so it was very convenient for us to grab a couple slices whenever we wanted. The best bonus is that the place is open late, which meant that we were able to get pizza at about 12:30 at night after catching Billy Joel at MSG. Overall, this is a fantastic pizza place and I would highly recommend it.“
“We used Thomas Oliver's Catering for a private event and everyone enjoyed the food. Gary was very easy to work with and flexible with any changes for dietary preferences. He was communicative throughout the entire process and his staff were pleasant and professional. We enjoyed working with them and would recommend it to anyone! Portions sizes were great - great value for money. Thank you!“
“This place is very nice but very small. There is one bathroom for everyone and the lights there are very dim. It looks larger on the pictures than reality. We enjoyed our avocado rolls and dumplings on the patio. It is a very limited menu for food and drinks. The positive is that it is very cute and they have a train caboose that you can also dine in on the street.“
“Igor and his team were beyond exceptional!! From the staff to the custom drinks to the beautiful presentation of passed small bites. He was so attentive leading up to our event and was willing to make last minute changes that our client had requested. Highly recommend and will definitely be using him again.“

“Rarely do I feel compelled to leave a review, but I came into this store recently and received outstanding service. Melinda was so kind and cheerful - it really made my day. It’s rare to have such an encounter and she was truly a gem that made me want to become a regular. Not to mention the smoothie was delicious and the store extremely clean.“
“Our favorite place for dinner!!! Ate there three times in four days! The plates and bowls were incredible. Shrimp. Chicken. Avocado. Coconut rice. And the sweet plantains!!! Nicest hostess ever — Catalina is a ray of sunshine! Makes us sad to return to Indiana.“
“It's impossible to sum up into a concise review how spectacular The Liberty Warehouse is. From the breathtaking views, the absolutely top tier staff, and incredible food selection - the LW was by far our favorite wedding vendor (& that says a lot because our day was perfect!)Jeff, we are forever grateful for your guidance and vision aiding us in perfecting our wedding day. Your vendor recommendations, food suggestions, timeline, etc. - I'd trust you with any choice! Hugging you right before walking down the aisle with my father was the cherry on top of being a Liberty Warehouse bride. Andrea - thank you for also always being so comforting, welcome and kind. You answered EVERY silly little email or question we had - big or small. Your energy is contagious and seeing your smiling face the morning of my wedding was all I needed to know our day was going to be perfect. My bridal attendant Alexandra ... where do I begin?! She was absolutely phenomenal. She anticipated my needs, made sure I ate and drank (both water and champagne), removed random stains that appeared throughout the day, bustled my dress in what felt like 30 seconds, and made sure everything was perfect. We knew the food and drinks were going to be fantastic from the raving reviews we heard through family and friends - but the LW blew us away. People STILL talk about how good the food was and I'm sure they will for years to come. From the tasting 2-3 months before, you are hidden on-site and try everything that couple is having that wedding night. Most of the options we ended up choosing for our own wedding, too! (pro tip- get the beef lo mein station!!!) Having our cocktail hour food set up for us with our signature drinks the moment our ceremony ended was such a blessing. We ate and giggled and we were simply in awe at how perfect it all was just before freshening up and entering our reception. The staff at the LW executed an absolutely perfect evening and timeline. They coordinated dances and dinner with our band, ensured the bridal party was where they needed to be and when, and took care of our parents, grandparents, etc. all day long. From the valet and bathroom attendants, to the coordinators and management, and whoever helped gather my belongings at the end of the night - thank you, THANK YOU, thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, our wedding day was absolutely, undeniably perfect. I'd recommend the Liberty Warehouse for any upscale event and can chat about it for hours on end.“
“Recently had our Wedding Ceremony and Reception here at The Chandelier. The location is beautiful, the service was good and the food was AMAZING. Everyone that came enjoyed the food. They have multiple areas depending on the size of your event. The best part of all was the venue being extremely affordable. Our vision was brought to life here and we were extremely satisfied with the venue. Thank you!“
“Darbar is an absolute gem. Food is fantastic & incredibly authentic (not to mention the best prices for indian food in NYC!) Do yourself a favor and get the Chicken 65 — be warned, it is a (spicy) explosion of flavor on your tastebuds. The classics like vindaloo & tikka go hardddd and “lesser known” dishes (ie by the white americans ;) ) like balchao, chana saag, etc. are wondrous. Service is kind, attentive, and very helpful. Truly cannot beat this place for date night, friends/family dinner, work gathering (private room upstairs too!), or even a solo experience.“
“Pastrami is very good. Moist and fresh. The quantity will vary depending on on who is making it but most are decent portions. They also have tasty home cooked dinners, perogis , potato pancakes and other things. But it’s all about the pastrami.“
“we had our wedding and indulge (john paul) was impeccable. from the first tasting, we got the vibe this chef has the culinary expertise to wow. we didn’t want the traditional beef and chicken, and JP didn’t disappoint. we got raving compliments about our appetizers (scallops and deviled eggs) and entrees (halibut and lamb). the venue was at Rockefeller with strict requirements, but JP again was flawless in his execution. beyond food, he helped managed rentals, bar, staffing, moving furniture. we can’t recommend him enough. we operated with a google doc and he was extremely responsive. we were not impressed with some other vendors, but if we had another wedding, we absolutely work with john paul and indulge again!! 10/10“
