“We went to Fernandes Matawan for the first time June 1, as recommeded by our son for his birthday. The service, food and atmosphere was beyond exceptional. Best calamari I have in a long time, the Sea Bass and fresh vegtables I ordered was excellent as was the 12 oz. filet and lobster tail my husband ordered. My son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren enjoyed their salmon, clams, lobster and shrimp meal choices. Large portions, we all except my husband and son, needed to bring home what we could not finish. Also the pitcher of white sangrera which was perfect. Hats off to the excellent service and food. Bottom line, the menu prices were a little more than what we expected, but it was worth it, you get what you pay for. My husband and I will be going back!”

“Milkbox is amazing. A true hidden gem. Their Ceasar chicken wrap is so tasty and juicy and my co-worker gets a buffalo chicken wrap that is delish. I can't wait to try other selections. Their sprinkle cookies are out of this world. Will go back time/time again. Great service.”

“My husband and I stopped at Eastern Sushi on our way back to the city from Atlantic City—and wow, we were seriously impressed. I had the Golden Salmon Roll (swapped the tobiko for masago) and it was super fresh with really high-quality fish. My husband got the hibachi scallops, which came out piping hot and perfectly cooked. Honestly, the food here is better than some spots we’ve tried in Manhattan. The restaurant itself isn’t fancy, but it’s very clean and the service was great. The bagels were really good (like bagels are supposed to be…dense and chewy not bread shaped into o’s) and the ladies behind the counter could both have been nicer! Worth a visit!!
