“I order now and then when I don't feel like cooking. The pizza today was usually good as usual but awesome. The pizza was large and true to large size. Generous with cheese and pepperoni and nice thick slices on thin crust pizza. Just the way I like it. I'm recommending to order pizza ? pies from Mario’s. Their quality won't disappoint anybody. Thanks Mario’s!!! I'll continue to come.“

“They must have a crew of nonnas in the kitchen here because this food tastes like a New Yorker’s childhood. Hospitable and charismatic, from the host to our server- the true energy of an authentic Italian restaurant. Ask for Anastasia when you come in if you want to have an amazing dinner, couldn’t ask for a better time for a memorable evening between close friends.“

“After a breathtaking view of New York from Rockefeller Center, hunger spontaneously drove us straight to Ace's.Without looking for long, we spontaneously decided to eat there. The furnishings in the style of the 80s and 90s appealed to us, and the ever-popular ALF was playing on a tube television.David, who served us, was incredibly personable and warm. At the end of our visit he even became my hero. The pizzas you get here are authentic and vary in dough and are prepared in a pan.We ordered the Hot Burrata, Vodka Meatball and the Buffalo Pizza. And we can say they were simply divine. Crispy, fluffy, juicy and tasty. This Detroit-style pizza blew us away, even as Neapolitans. Our favorite was definitely the Hot Burrata.A little tip: Order the small pan pizzas in different varieties, David will certainly give you good advice.Thank you again, David, for your hospitality and for bringing me my forgotten backpack (my hero). The fact that you found us in the crowd was nothing short of a miracle. In conclusion, if you're in New York, treat yourself to this pizza at Ace's. We will definitely do it again when we visit New York. Until then, we wish you all the best and keep it up!!“

“My first time dining here and it was a 10/10 experience, my friends and I were elated!! Food was served hot and fresh, large portions and friendly service — it was amazing! We sat in the outdoor sitting area, it was so great watching people come and go as we enjoyed our meals and chatted. I got the Chicken Parm, it was soo huge and filling. I highly recommend coming here — I look forward to visiting again!Kid-friendliness: Saw some families coming in and dining which was pretty sweet to see!“

“The Best Pizza in NYC! - If you want the best pizza in NYC you have to go to Pop's Pizza. I'm a native New Yorker of 50 years and Pop's Pizza is my favorite pizza in NYC. They make a perfect slice... thin crispy crust with fresh sauce, toppings and ingredients. If you like garlic, you have to try the Margarita but no matter what you order every slice is amazing and the owners are fantastic. ?“

“Food, drinks, and service were incredible! My husband and I stumbled on this place on a date night in NYC, and it was absolutely perfect for a date night! The only thing is the restaurant is tiny tiny so don't think about having a large dinner party, but for a more intimate dinner or lunch, I would highly recommend it! The burrata was our absolute favorite dish! 10/10 recommend!“

The staff at Pizza Knight exude friendliness and genuine care for their patrons, making me feel not just like a customer, but like a welcomed guest. Now, let’s talk about the main event – the pizza. I indulged in both the Detroit Vodka Cecilian and the Vodka Pie, and each slice was a revelation of flavor. The Detroit Vodka Cecilian boasted a perfect blend of tangy tomato sauce, creamy vodka sauce, and crispy crust, while the Vodka Pie elevated the classic pizza with its unique vodka-infused twist, leaving my taste buds dancing with delight.Beyond the mouthwatering pizzas, Pizza Knight’s attention to detail and commitment to quality shine through in every aspect of their offerings. “Post theatre favorite! We had the charcuterie board and artichokes to start followed by swordfish, rigatoni bolognese and a penne with a bit of spice that was delicious. What I especially love is the charming atmosphere and the ability to order decent house wine by the liter served in a pitcher as is done in Italy. A very nice touch. We shared an olive oil cake to have a bite of something delicious and sweet to end our meal. I always come back here and am never disappointed.“

“I wish I had found Bella Trattoria sooner! My wife and I have been trying to find some 'go to' dinner spots since moving to the east coast, and I can confidently say we found a keeper. The atmosphere in the restaurant is perfect for a date night or a nice family outing and you'll absolutely find something on the menu for everyone. We started with the calamari fra diavolo and the sauce had the perfect amount of spice to it. The main course obviously had to be some pizza but we couldn't decide on one so we tried the veggie and the salsiccia. You guys...they were amazing! The crust was just right and there was plenty to take home for late night snacks. All I can say is I can't wait to go back“

“Visiting Grumpys for the Pizza Hunters App and was not disappointed. Parking can be tricky. There are only 4 parking spots behind the Pizzeria..I wound up parking across the street and patronizing the Deli as well in the process. I didn't even get all the way inside the door and was greeted immediately with a Hello, Welcome and How are You. Service was excellent and the price point was excellent. A lot of great Pizza for your money. It took me a little to find the words for this Pizza. The Crispy crust is definitely the highlight. Followed by the Sauce and Cheese. Really, the pizza has its own unique style and delivery. It all works. At one point, I thought maybe a little more sauce, since i am a big fan, but once it hits your taste Buds, you realize that it all works perfectly together and that's what makes it unique as a Grumpys Pizza. I give it 5 Pie Ya's.. pie ya, pie ya. Pie ya. Pie ya. Pie ya. I will definitely be back again. Great Job Grumpys..I have to Pizza aside, your Customer Service is top notch as well.“

“Ordered two pies. Delivery was quick and pizzas were nice and hot. Husband and I didn't care for the taste. The sauce was a bit sweet and somewhat tangy. Can't place my finger on it, but we didn't care for it. Giving four stars because everything else was fine, just not tasty.“

“I have eaten here over the past 4 years under the old management and recently new management. The new owners have a delicious gluten free vegan option which I greatly appreciate. You can really only find those options in downtown Jersey city, Hoboken, NYC etc. They only got my order wrong once and corrected it with quickly and with ease. They take orders over the phone efficiently you can also order by the slice as well. Their pizzas are always fresh and delicious I highly recommend them. Thank you!“

“Continued with my pizza cravings this season and stopped by this place recommended by my friend. Clearly it is known for their guilty-pleasure gluten-free pizza and their unique fried pizzas (which I didn’t get). The place seems to quite spacious with an open kitchen in the back featuring a red brick stone oven for pizza baking. Monday noon is not busy at all so we did walk-ins and got seated right away.Pistachio & SalsicciaIt features mozzarella, pistachio pesto, sausage, pecorino romano, basil. We had never had pistachio pesto before so we were intrigued to try. The basil on top and the extra virgin olive oil’s flavors didn’t fall short in comparison to pesto and sausage. I got hints of pistachio but not much from eating this pizza. The sausages were crumbly and fell kinda everywhere when I cut the pizza. The flavor is new, just not impressive.RicottaGot a lighter pizza to hopefully offset the other heavier one. It is indeed light, but I didn’t get too much from tomato sauce: I didn’t get the acidity or tanginess or sweetness, it is like my eyes were telling me I was eating a pizza rosse but my taste buds said otherwise. The ricotta was nice and creamy even after being torched. But after the pizza got colder, the ricotta didn’t want to be stay with the pizza dough anymore.I didn’t like one particular thing: they delivered both pizzas at the same time to the table and the pistachio & salsiccia pizza was a bit colder, so the cheese started to harden and there were no stretch of the mozzarella.I loved about one thing: the chewiness and the bounecyness of their crust. I wouldn’t say they have the lightest crust (compared to the other Naple style pizza places I have eaten), but their crust is the most mochi-like one. I started to wonder what flour they used to develop that much gluten. Really good crust which I am willing to eat alone or pair with maybe some dip everyday, subjectively speaking.I feel like I probably need to try some other flavors to possibly re-evaluate this place. The truffle and mushroom pizzas are still waving their hands at me.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pizza offered.“

“Everything was wonderful and the service was excellent! We shared appetizers for the table. The best was the burrata special. The bread basket was generous, and there was a very nice dipping oil with lentils. We all ordered pastas for our mains. All were good, the best were the 2 specials: rigatoni with oxtail ragu and orecchiette with a seafood sauce. Desserts were also delicious. The standout was the service. It was prompt and attentive without being overbearing. Absolutely the best service we have had in a long time.We ate outside so can’t comment on the ambiance and noise level inside.“

“First off, this is probably the best Italian restaurant in NYC. For me, the mark of a good Italian restaurant is their cheese and tomatoes. So when the complimentary, and perfectly cooked, bread came to the table I asked for a side of cheese. I tasted it plain and could tell immediately that it was DOP. (Those who know what that means, understand my meaning.)I then proceeded to have the carbonara. Many restaurants (even those who claim they are Italian) in the US make this dish with cream…and that’s totally wrong. The magic of this dish is the perfect amount of pasta water and cheese that is added to the pasta and then vigorously mixed until it becomes creamy. And the egg must be tempered, or else you end up with scrambled eggs. And guess what…this restaurant knows how to do it perfectly. For dessert I had their bread pudding…another classic Italian dessert that if done correctly, is delicious and if done incorrectly is just a pile of blah. The chef here, once again, outdid himself. It was so buttery and the ratio of raisins to bread was perfect. Plus the hint of Sambuca just put this over the top.I can confidently say that I will be back, and can’t wait to order one of everything over the course of my upcoming many visits. Thank you, Sal and Enzo for a fantastic meal; see you both again soon.“

“LOVED this place. The pizza was fantastic (much better than most neopolitan places in the US, though the pizzas are a bit more busy ingredient/topping-wise than your usual neopolitan pizza), had a great salad. I loved that they had a bunch of imported Italian beer, most of which I’d never even heard of before but was really fun to try. The tiramisu was amazing - tasted truly homemade with actual mascorpone, lady fingers, and the right amount of coffee and cocoa powder. And the lemon sorbetto was surprisingly great and came served in an actual lemon!! Will def go back. One of my favorite discoveries in NYC.“

“I'm sooo sad. I just found out about the closing today, because I wanted to drive to the city to get a favorite slice from my childhood days. “I have been ordering from pizza side for a while now, but after nothing but excellent experiences it was time to write a review. I ordered pick up through the Slice app and my order was ready ahead of time. I ordered the phenomenal veggie pizza and since I am vegan, I ordered it without cheese. As always, the pizza crust is crispy and the toppings are beautifully proportioned to my tastes. I do not like too much moisture on top or the crust gets soggy. Their french fries are always spectacular so I ordered some of those as well. I also ordered a chicken Parm in vodka sauce sandwich for a friend, and she is still talking about it today. When I arrived to pick up my food, they ran it out to my car, at their insistence, and went as far as putting it inside the car for me. Not only is their pizza phenomenal but their service is above and beyond incredible. A definite go-to“

“My second visit of Cafe Fiorello. Still, it was as good or even better than my last meal here.Their innovative open lasagne, featuring meatballs, ribs, and burrata cheese, was an absolute delight. The tomato sauce added a refreshing lightness to the dish, making it less dense and incredibly flavorful. The portion sizes were impressively generous, perfect for sharing with a group of friends. As for brunch, their French toast was a guilty pleasure like no other. The chocolate toast adorned with roasted walnuts, raisins, and fresh strawberries left me feeling completely satisfied. “So happy that Dante's is opened again... we do not have a history to what Dante's used to be as we moved to town not too long ago but what I can tell you is that we are so happy they're open now! It's so nice to have a local pizzeria to order from that you know is reliable, great, and locally owned. Dante's opened up with new owners who are from town which is always nice to support. We have ordered a good number of times now and can really say we have not had one bad order. Pizza- great and delicious! Pastas- never had a disappointing one. Salad and sandwiches have been pretty good as well. We are excited to continue to order from Dante's and continue to try different dishes. “What a WONDERFUL treat!!! When I was a little girl growing up in New York, there was an Argentine Pizzeria that had THE-BEST pizza and empanadas. Unfortunately, the owners retired and moved away. I have searched and search for that perfect crunch of the Argentine pizza and taste….and I FOUND IT at Biby’s!Biby’s offers different types of pizza but if you want to experience AMAZING-NESS, their Argentine Pizza Deluxe is the way to go. Minus the eggs, that is EXACTLY the way I had it growing up. We ate with the sliced hard boiled eggs on top and it was sooooo….GOOD!As soon I saw the round pan and the gentleman building the pizza, my heart was so GLAD…. I said to my myself, “Yes, that’s how I remember the pizza being prepared” The Argentine pizza is a little thicker but so tasty! All of this and I didn’t tell you about the empanadas…. ALSO DEE-LISH, and the Chimichurri sauce is incredible! And a variety of empanadas. The service was incredible, they were really kind and gracious.I traveled a good hour to Biby’s Empanadas & Pizza….the travel was WELL WORTH IT!At home with my family, everything was a HIT!“

When we arrived we all thought we needed to have a reservation to get a table, but that was not the case. Pleasantly surprised and able to get a table within 5 minutes. He was knowledgeable and well mannered and easy going. Can't wait to go back! Pricing was good a well! Looking to take a hot date there soon too!
