“Looking for pancakes and other breakfast dishes, I ordered several items for takeout from this place. The food took a reasonable 20 minutes to prepare for pickup and was ready by the time I arrived. I sampled a bite of a few dishes - pancakes and omelettes were up to my expectations. However, my actual order, the Wrangler skillet, was quite a disappointment. It was heavily loaded with bacon, but without a generous portion of potatoes as a starch (there were some, just not enough), the dish was quite salty even for my taste. So I don't think my skillet was prepared badly, just that the recipe needs to be rethought. If I come back here again, I'll try a different dish.“

“I just had a great experience at Per Se! I was stopping by NYC for my work and personal trips on the East Coast. The server Eric learned about my interest in Michelin restaurants and surprised me with a tour of the kitchen afterwards. Both food and service are beyond my expectations. “We live about an hour away and travel to Harlem every month or so just to eat at dino bbq! The food is always exceptional and the service is great, Maria is our favorite waitress but everyone is very nice. We always go for lunch because it's less busy, otherwise there's always a crowd, especially at night, you could be waiting well over an hour so be sure to make a reservation.“

“My two nieces and I popped in this morning on our way to the Natural History Museum. I’ll admit I was hesitant but thankfully I listened to my nieces! I had the avocado and eggs in a crepe, which was the best gluten-free sandwich I have ever had. Did not miss the bread at all. My 14 year old chose the Nutella crepe with banana and the 9 ounce Açaí bowl. Oldest selected one of the big bowls … it was a work of art. Highly recommend and we will be back on our next trip. “I was so tired so I grabbed the first thing I saw that looked familiar instead of reading the menu or checking out comments. It was beyond burger, which was delicious. After I ordered I saw crab cakes that looked yum, I wish I tried those too. They also had a bunch of desserts that looked good, but I can't eat that much at once. So if I'm ever back in New York I'm definitely coming there again. Service is really good, nice people working there, order ready fast! I definitely recommend this place.“

But when in New York, one must try Levain Bakery. Service was very friendly and fast, interior was quaint and perfect for your social media photoshoots. “I enjoyed the avocado toast, with two fried eggs (extra) (they don't do poached). Nothing fancy, nothing catchy. When it came out I prejudged and was thinking, oh hmm, this might not be good. But overall the avocado and the eggs were good enough for a 4⭐, and I think the two things that helped to push it over the edge to 5⭐ were the bread and the pickled peppers. In particular the pickled peppers added a little bit of sweetness and a little kick. Pleasant surprise.Matcha latte was reasonable and not remarkable -- lacking in latte art but slightly making up for it in portion. Also, could have been sifted/whisked some more because there were lumpy chunks at the bottom. Nevertheless I won't let this pull down the 5⭐ for food.~10am on a rainy Sunday morning but the place was almost full. And there was a robust pickup / delivery business.“

They offer a delicious selection of Puerto-Rican inspired coffee and have two rooms, one where you can buy the coffee, and one quiet one with long tables where you can work peacefully! I’ve been a true fan of this restaurant ever since I’ve moved up to Bloomfield a few years ago and I always bring my friends and family to this restaurant. Anthony and his team were very accommodating and brought out the rest of trays as the previous ones started emptying out which I greatly appreciated due to the lack of space we were given at the venue. We ordered the chicken empanadas, beef empanadas, broccoli rabe, mixed greens salad, Mac and cheese, chicken parm, eggplant parm, pasta vodka, meatballs and potato croquettes. All dishes were excellent and everyone was excited to pack the leftovers home as well! “Everything is as delicious as it sounds to be honest! Ran by Koreans, the taste reminds me of my mom’s food but restaurant level quality and aesthetics. They pack their to-go food like a cute little lunch box, a piece of fruit, and a brownie that’s deceptively yummy and chewy/fudgy. Their to/go hot teas are also SO nicely packed. I love their attention to quality in an amazing neighborhood hidden gem.“

We had never had pistachio pesto before so we were intrigued to try. The basil on top and the extra virgin olive oil’s flavors didn’t fall short in comparison to pesto and sausage. I got hints of pistachio but not much from eating this pizza. The sausages were crumbly and fell kinda everywhere when I cut the pizza. The flavor is new, just not impressive.RicottaGot a lighter pizza to hopefully offset the other heavier one. It is indeed light, but I didn’t get too much from tomato sauce: I didn’t get the acidity or tanginess or sweetness, it is like my eyes were telling me I was eating a pizza rosse but my taste buds said otherwise. The ricotta was nice and creamy even after being torched. But after the pizza got colder, the ricotta didn’t want to be stay with the pizza dough anymore.I didn’t like one particular thing: they delivered both pizzas at the same time to the table and the pistachio & salsiccia pizza was a bit colder, so the cheese started to harden and there were no stretch of the mozzarella.I loved about one thing: the chewiness and the bounecyness of their crust. I wouldn’t say they have the lightest crust (compared to the other Naple style pizza places I have eaten), but their crust is the most mochi-like one. I started to wonder what flour they used to develop that much gluten. Really good crust which I am willing to eat alone or pair with maybe some dip everyday, subjectively speaking.I feel like I probably need to try some other flavors to possibly re-evaluate this place. “We live in nearby Dobbs Ferry, we have came by a few times for special occasions (birthdays, valentines, etc) and have not been disappointed. I wasn’t sure if Gluten Free, Non-Dairy and Kosher would taste different, for their cakes you hardly notice any difference than one that is not those things. It’s not an inexpensive place as evident by their locations but you get an excellent product from them which makes them worth going to.“

It’s kind of far from where we live but no one can stop us from eating.We were satisfied with their line up. We got their Plain Croissant, Caramelized Croissant, Pecan Sticky Bun and Savory Biscuit as first try. The portion was great with reasonable price.Our favorite was the Pecan Sticky Bunwhich was satisfying with soft and rich texture. Their croissant wasn’t our type but it’s still worth a visit.“
