“It was a fairly crowded but nothing crazy. They did charge a $20 cover charge, kind of felt odd. There was a band but $20 bucks, felt like I was going in to some fancy club in center city, not just a neighborhood bar. Guess it is a sign of the times, I hear Applebee's has a cover charge o. “I've been to Braddocks several times and absolutely love it. The waitress was a doll- there is nothing better than a restaurant employee that seems like they WANT to be there. I've been in this business for 25 years, and that is hard to find- that being said, she was working the room by herself, so it did take a long time to get a drink. The food has always been amazing- this visit was hit and miss. The cheesestrak egg rolls were absolutely terrible. They were TINY and nearly empty. What was inside was a small amount of mushy, flavorless meat, and they were plated in a BOWL of blue cheese, which made them even more mushy than they already were. Now the good- the salad was one of the BEST I've ever had, and the filet sandwich was FABULOUS- but the fries were cold and mushy. I'll always return to this place- it truly is a gem and I would tell anyone and everyone to go- just don't order the cheesesteak egg rolls and expect drink delays at the table, but overall, a cozy, fun, [mostly] delicious place.“

I had the Country Chicken. So much flavor!! It is listed as spicy. You can request the level of heat. They add red pepper flakes. I asked for a little and it was perfect. My husband had the Spaghetti and Meatballs which is a Sunday special and enjoyed it. I definitely recommend this restaurant! We will definitely be back!“
“Food was all around good. Had fries , sandwiches , and wings. And wife had a carnival mixed drink which she loved.They are known for their wings which were cooked to perfection but the 2 sauces I had were just runny oil with no real taste(mild and hot and honey). Could not tell the difference from one sauce to the other. But they were still good. One of the juiciest wing meat I've ever had. So they still get 5 stars.“
“The food was delicious! We got one of their pizzas and ahi tuna dishes. Absolutely delicious on both. The service was impeccable. I have a dairy allergy, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure there was no dairy in my dish (the ahi tuna). Leonardo was our server, and I have to say he gave us the best experience we have probably ever received. Ever. We are really easygoing, so to have a server go the extra mile for us was beyond our expectations. We actually can't wait to go back to Yard House, and that was our first time ever dining in a Yard House-- all thanks to Leonardo! “I pass this place all the time and then heard very good things about it so I decided to stop. Small inside but the waitress/ bartender was very friendly and pleasant. I sat at the bar and was waited on immediately. During my visit the place continued to fill up. Many were regulars. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and it was an enormous cutlet and the best I ever had. I wound up eating just a little and took the rest home and got 2 more meals out of it. Highly recommended“
“My wife and I both love oceancrat. It is your typical seafood boil place that is clean, reasonably priced, and has unique decorations throughout. The food is always flavorful and well cooked. It's the first type of seafood boil place we've been to that serves fried rice with the meal, and at first we thought that was unusual, but after the second time, we decided we really liked the uniqueness and taste. It is really great to have a place like this locally and we hope it stays around for decades to come.“

“It's been years since I've been here, but between Jay's making lists for top dives in NJ and top beer lists in the country I have been meaning to get back. Prior to going I looked up their beer list on Untappd and was overwhelmed by the beer selection. Unfortunately (but fortunately because it made my beer selection decisions much easier) many of the craft beers listed were sold in cans. The beers on the numbered list on Untappd are the beers available on tap (all other beers listed are in cans or bottles). They still had a nice variety of craft beers on tap and I really enjoyed the few I tried. They seemed a bit pricey though and even the lower ABV beers were served in smaller glasses. We got two seats at the bar around 6:30 on a Friday night. All night people were coming and going and there was nobody really standing around waiting for bar seats for too long. The bartender was nice and he was the only one working when we first arrived but after a bit there were multiple people behind the bar. It definitely felt divey inside. My dad said the bar top was the same bar top from years and years ago when he used to come here when he was my age. We split wings with medium Buffalo sauce and cheesesteak fries. I frequently see Jay's wings mentioned on SJFS and for good reason. They were top notch and I'd come back just for the wings. They might even be at the very top of my wing list (although I'd try a different sauce next time). Incredibly crispy and weren't chewy whatsoever. The cheesesteak fries (cheesesteak served over a bed of waffle fries were also surprisingly good. While at Top Golf earlier in the week our bay host recommended them and advised all the food at Jay's is very good. I wasn't expecting to spend $100+ at a dive bar between two of us but the experience was very good. If I lived a little closer I would definitely be there all the time. Even though the beer list is good I'd probably stick with drinking a domestic draft or bottle the next time I go to avoid spending as much as we did on smaller glasses of craft beer. I will definitely be back and will be looking forward to trying more menu items in the future.“
