“This is my new diner! With several diners in my area closing down recently, we gave Olga’s a try. It’s a beautiful, clean diner with great food and friendly service. After several visits, the food and service has been consistently great.“
“We had such a great time at the Avenue Diner. We went to celebrate our friend's birthday and the hostess and wait staff were so great and accommodating. We definitely overstayed our welcome, but they were the best. Everything that we got was delicious. The owners are Greek, so we ordered a lot of the Greek items on the menu and everything was great. It has a great, small town diner feel and I can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu!“
“We came for a late dinner on the evening of 3/26 and it was our first time there since it changed hands and reopened as South Star diner. We both ordered seafood/pasta dishes and were highly impressed!!! The food and portion sizes were very good, from the Caesar salads to the entrees to the bread basket and to dessert (which we took to go).The diner is very clean and has a welcoming nostalgic charm when you walk in with a beautiful display of various cakes. It looks, smells, and feels like everything a diner should be. We were immediately seated and asked our drink orders, and our main order taken within minutes. Very pleasant and relaxed experience — did not feel rushed like you do at some dining establishments. Overall everything was outstanding without a single complaint.I’d also like to underscore HOW WONDERFUL IT IS TO FINALLY HAVE SOMETHING OPEN 24 HOURS!!!! Thank you! It is a huge treat to the local community and very much appreciated. I sincerely hope it stays this way especially since you’ve earned yourselves 2 regular late night customers :)“
“A small, but modest diner-esque experience complete with a friendly dog who greets guests at the door!Quality, but reasonably priced food.I had the gyro, it was hot, quickly made and good. (Gyro meat wasn’t the shaved type that comes from a spit)Otherwise coffee has free refills and was pretty good actually.I’ll definitely be back!“
“If your last trip to Flavortown was to Vincentown Diner, you would be delightfully surprised at the meal you would receive here. So go ahead and add that to the list. Growing up in Jersey, I feel that Vincentown Diner definitely raves as one of the better local diners that I have been to. I mean, don't take my word for it - you can always look to a much better known and more qualified person than myself, i.e. Guy Fieiri. Not an expert in diner cuisine and experiences by any means, I feel that Vincentown Diner does a great job in keeping with the times - the modernization of their image and menu is apparent. Sure, there is definitely the train of thought that sticking with the basics is the right way of doing things. However, I argue that in an industry and culture where stagnation may result in downfall, Vincentown Diner does a great job at maintaining the basics while exploring menu items that bridges the gap to other tastes and experiences. As such, Vincentown Diner is truly unique. From the moment you arrive, you will find that the Vincentown Diner does not subscribe to the typical brick-and-mortar, 70s/80s diner appearance. The design of the building is incredibly sleek, with clean lines and appearance. It does a great job at catching one's attention as it sits upon the intersection. You may even mistake it as a fine dining venue, until you see the word "diner" on it. There is a neat patio area with rocking chairs, but all the seating is located inside the diner.Upon entering the diner, you will begin to see the transition into the old school diner look as if you are travelling through time in a sense. The diner is clean and well maintained. The bathrooms are a bit small, but this is probably not the reason why you're here. We ate here around noon, and found that the service was great. Literally the entire staff was approachable and incredibly friendly. Our waiter was outstanding and knowledgeable of the menu items; he was on point with taking our orders and delivered accordingly. As mentioned previously, the menu items fused traditional diner items (breakfast, sandwiches, and burgers) and explores a bit of other cultural items. The food was great (I know I'm being vague here, but I assure you that you will be delighted with the portions and flavor in your meal). I'm looking forward to coming back again, and trying out their burgers. If you're working on Fort Dix, whether that be during the weekday or weekend, I challenge you to make the trip out this way to Vincentown Diner. Trust me, the meal will make your day! But really for anyone in New Jersey, I would recommend Vincentown Diner as a State-wide staple.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an ADA compliant ramp that leads to the entrance of the building.“
“This is one of my favorite after church spots.Stopped in Sunday after church. Had my special "home run " with blueberry pancakes. Perfect. The bacon was cooked just right and my eggs, over medium, perfect. Everything was delicious. And cost was better than what you get at fast food places and you get real food. I recommend this place.“
“I was surprised at check in that Id never been. Totally cute, cozy and clean diner. Did I say how very much I love diners?! Super service. My bagel and lox was on point! Joey's breakfast sandwich- same. Their dessert selection was slim Pickens, but I never get it anyway. I just like looking and drooling lol! Id absolutely go back!“
“Diners are changing but I have to say the food and value was still very well here. The place I felt was just a little too busy and there were too many old people that were crabby for my liking. Normally I don't get dinner at 5 but I did. This place has a very large older crowd.Besides that the service was great and the place handled the traffic very well. I'll come back just at a different time next time.“
“I've been here twice before today. The first time I didn't leave a review and my experience was 3 stars. The food was wrong and a staff member was rude. Third times a charm! Our waitress was so nice. The meals were incredible. Fresh and delicious. The coffee is a little strong but not bad. Well done home fries,Cheese omelette with green peppers, onion and bacon. The food was hot and perfectly cooked. I did ask for soft peppers so they aren't so crunchy. The booth was wiped down and very clean. I highly recommend this diner.“
“I was more impressed than usual. They quality of food REALLY stepped up. The mozzarella sticks seemed homemade with the nice breading and size of them. The turkey in the club seemed fresh carved and thicck. Crispy bacon in it too. Very pleased with the coleslaw. The beef barley soup also seemed homemade with how the veggies were chunky but not mushy. The girl taking the order was very patient and considerate. The delivery man was just a sweet little old man.“
“They have a solid breakfast menu, good lunch specials and daily specialties. Sandwich with fries are also a good option.I recommend their breakfast menu, specifically scrambled eggs with toast, home fries and either sausage or bacon. Service is always very good/friendly.Parking: No issuesKid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly“
