“With several locations along the Jersey Shore, this Middletown location is the newest. Huge, bright, airy, and busy but no seating on the inside which is kinda sad because I wanted to enjoy my ice cream while looking at what other flavors I should get next. Your only option is either the two benches outside or your car. The servers looked tired but the young man who helped me was nice enough. I picked the Vegan Speculoos Cookie which was AMAZING! The texture was different but the flavor was all there! $5 and some change for a small. I scream, you cream...“
“Thank goodness I don't live very close to this ice cream parlor because I would be there every day. Six of us took a tour and decided to try the ice cream when we were done four of them had the black raspberry ice cream with black with chocolate chunks and I fudge over the top, it was delicious. I've tried the lemon bar with caramel. It was so good I've gone back twice. The owner and staff are extremely friendly. They explain everything and everything was wonderful.“
“I’m sure this place is really great, I never tried it before, but maybe in the future I will, the only issue is when I called earlier today, the number said that it was not in service but when I called later on, someone picked up. I don’t know what that was all about.“
“Been a while since I've seen a Tom Carvel ad (I suspect he's dipping cones in hot fudge in the heaven location now), and maybe 15+ years since I've enjoyed the custard at Carvel. Have done lotsa DQing. It's okay. And I think the dense, dense thick custard at Rita's may be a richer take on the confection. But Tom's custard was great on a hot late summer day.“
“I grew up with Ralph's Italian Ices on Staten Island back in the day. It has been 20yrs since I've last had the sweet delicious frozen treat that is Ralph's. I've been wanting to go back and get it for the longest time but haven't had the opportunity nor time or desire to make the trek back to SI. On a recent visit to my family living in the NJ area I saw that Ralph's has expanded. Went on a whim to try it to see if it is as good as I remembered. Spoiler: It is! I was so happy to see that it was still made and tasted the same. You will not find Italian ice like this anywhere but Ralph's.“
