“We visited while in the area and found both the food and service to be outstanding. The sushi was very fresh and there are some inventive rolls on the menu. They have several tea options, one of which is the Flower Tea, a beautifully fragrant mix of organic leaves of jasmine, rose, lavender, chamomile and marigold which my daughter and I found to be soothing and totally hit the spot on a chilly rainy night. The owner was accommodating and extremely friendly; she made sure to check on us several times during the meal. Highly recommend!“
“By far the best hot and sour soup. Large sharable plates. Staff was very friendly. My friend had the fried tofu and was also very happy. The vegetable fried was very good although I would have liked to see more vegetables in it. But overall a great experienceDietary restrictions: They are very accommodatingParking: We arrived at around 2 pm and walked a few blocks to restaurant because parking was very limitedWheelchair accessibility: Wide doorways and walkways“
“I wish I can upload some photo, but unfortunately we already ate everything before I even blinked ? I really love kimbap, so usually I took a sushi burrito with double tempura shrimp, oshinko, kale, cucumber and carrots, with some sweet and spicy sauce. And it always so good ? Today we tried the chicken baos as well, and I think we find our new faves ? So thank you Guys, you are great, always kind and fast with the orders You made the Inspiration Roll to my fave MOTOWN restaurant ?“
“can’t say enough good things about this place! the food is delicious, so fresh, and so well priced. today they gave us free pieces of kimbap to try, and they also gave us a discount. i recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a great new sushi spot to try, you won’t regret “
“I had a great meal here for new year's eve! I had chicken pad Thai and a salmon avocado roll, which really hit the spot. This is a good sushi spot. My boyfriend got the sushi dinner. The staff here is always good. I saw a girl drop her chopsticks and a server immediately walked up with a new pair. I don't know why, but we can always get a table fairly easily. I will of course be returning:)“
“Monster Sushi is a delicious little sushi spot in downtown Morristown. As they are BYOB, you should definitely pick up your favorite beer or sake to pair with the bento box or round of fresh sushi. Their beef negimaki is ? and their specialty rolls are probably the best in town.“
“Sushi Lounge is a fun new find for me this season. I met a friend for dinner on a Thursday night and I highly recommend making a reservation as it was packed within an hour of us being there. The restaurant is very chic and cozy, making your dining experience intimate. The menu contains several options for gluten-free and vegetarian eaters, but I did bring my own gf soy sauce out of habit when eating sushi-that's just how I roll. The presentation of our sushi was simple and neat, so I couldn't wait to dig in. The vegetables were fresh, and the rolls weren't a mess like I've experienced at other eateries. Sushi Lounge is great for a date night or gathering with friends.“
“Sat at the bar for dinner on a Friday night. The ambience is great and the food was very good. They have a decent selection of wines and bottled/canned beer. The espresso martini by Kevin was excellent. Great place for a quiet dinner or just drinks.“
“I have so many times here i like the server a lot his name is Edwin he is very kind and take care the table very very well i would like to come again i like the service from the server and the manager is very funny and kind his name is farel thanks“
“Last time I was here, was about a few months ago when I invited my college friends. We’ve been busy with our lives that we never get to see each other, so we made it a point to all meet up since we all wanted different cuisine. Luckily this restaurant offers all 3 different cuisine. There was 5 of us and the staffs was very accommodating since we came on a weekday and we set right away. We started with some appetizers like the baked mussels, tempura oysters. Then we had order a few rolls, like the Neal roll, Jessica roll, tango mango roll, my favorite. Ask for their sushi roll bible! then we order a few dishes to share. The pad Thai was on point. We also had the general Tso chicken and Thai curry which is spicy and flavorful. The waiter introduced to us their signature dish that’s named after the store itself, ai Sakae beef, of course we had to try it . We were all so full that we all had so much leftovers. they also had so much desserts from mochi, gelato to fried ice cream and boba teas. ??which we declined since we were full.“
“My husband and I live near by & finally went to Asahi Sushi Ramen! The service was wonderful, they were quick and answered any questions we had. The food was a 10/10 it looked & tasted delicious. It’s DEFINITELY worth stopping by. They have prices you can’t beat! The chicken teriyaki came out HOT (also came with a side salad & side of rice) and the presentation was great, the chicken ramen came in a large bowl and I had leftovers to take home! :)“
“Tokyo Sushi is a solid sushi spot in the neighborhood! We ordered two party platters here for a family gathering and I was impressed with how fresh and well-prepared the rolls were. Placing our order over the phone was a breeze - the woman on the line guided us to select a number of rolls and sashimi and even gave us a few recommendations that ended up being solid picks. There was a wait of around forty minutes for our platters, but the resulting dishes were gorgeous, and most importantly, tasty. The folks here are as nice as can be and while we placed a to-go order, it seems like a postprandial froyo might be a great perk of dining in. As an added plus, there is a sweet $30 discount that is applied to all orders above $150, which is a fantastic deal if you're placing a large order.“
“Delicious vegan food. Tons of options. My non-vegan parents loved the food and talked about for days.Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan. They offer vegan meat and tofu with rice or noodles and vegetables. The menu is 10 pages! They have gluten free options. The lunch options are very reasonable and just the right amount of food. The vegan desserts are delicious!“
“Great sushi spot. Always enjoy it with friends. Love the torched nigiri snack at the end of the meal!Parking: Limited, shared spots out back.Street parking is as available.Wheelchair accessibility: Front door ONLY.Rear entry has multiple steps.A paved, slanted driveway connects rear parking to the front sidewalk and door.“
“i just want to say that the customer service for this place is amazing! we had a payment issue, and our communication back and forth was missed. and they went ABOVE and BEYOND to fix the issue. i am blown away. we love the food here it's always delicious! 10 out of 10 across the board. thank you mintea! :)“
“Came to check out this place with my co-worker one day and ordered a variety of different rolls and sashimi. The one that I enjoyed the most was the Yummy Maki roll. I felt that everything that we ordered was decent and fresh. The only thing that bothered me was how rushed the service was because we came in close to closing time. Other than that I had a pleasant experience coming here and wouldn't mind coming again. The ambience of the restaurant is very quiet and you could get a good view of the sushi bar depending on where you sit.“
“One of the best places to get good sushi. They have a great selection and good drinks too. I always enjoy myself here. Just be careful walking from the parking lot to the restaurant in the dark. It’s not well lit and there isn’t a side walk. Cars pulling in or out won’t be able to see you.“
“Absolutely amazing of a place! First time going here, it is small but however, the place is adorable. Walked right in, greeted by friendly staff members. Sat right down and ordered. The wait time was reasonable, it did take someTime for a small meal but it was still definitely worth the wait of it. The food was absolutely delicious, the flavoring to it with the spices made it really splendid. The service like said before was fabulous, staff were very friendly and felt very heart warming that they are here to take care of you while you’re enjoying your food.Atmosphere was good! Music really fitted the fit of the restaurant vibes. People talking and the lighting was perfect.Overall, this restaurant was really good especially the food and the amazing kind staff who are very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to many others around the local area for some good Japanese food. The wide variety of different foods made it really stand out.Parking: Free parking lot however it is very small, if busy you have to park on streets.“
“Overall our brunch was very good with a couple of minor issues. The banquettes need cleaning, the juices in the cocktails weren't shaken thus making the drinks watery and not full flavored. I sent mine back and the waiter brought me another quickly. The food was good. We will come back for dinner in the future.“
“Best local sushi place around! The sushi is always fresh and the sides/appetizers are delicious as well. They have a little "mizu mart" in the front of the store with plenty of Japanese and Korean snacks, ramen, and candy. There isn't any space for indoor eating (it's really tiny) but takeout or outdoor dining is available. Service is quick and very kind.“
“I have lived in town for about 6 years. We found this restaurant online and gave it a try. We ordered the pineapple and chicken fried rice, a dish called Phoenix, and the General Tso's Shrimp. Each dish was excellent and the staff was warm and friendly. Will continue to buy food from here!!!!HOT AND SOUR SOUP WONDERFUL!!! GOOD FOR COLDS!!!!“
“Wonderful place ❤️We did not make a reservationAnd they welcomed us very friendly ?they gave us the good drink playing the drum they have when we entered they directed us to the table We were served by a waiter ??♂️very friendly with a lot of patience ❤️ the chef ???❤️was very kind and an excellent chef He spoke to us in our Spanish language and cooked very delicious ?? ???? he was very kind ❤️? If God allows it, I will see that restaurant ..“
“It is a friendly family business. We ordered hibachi, tom yum soup, and agedashi tofu. The hibachi was okay but a bit greasy. The agedashi tofu was very greasy. The tom yum soup used celery and carrots instead of the expected ingredients (i.e. no galangal, lemongrass, or lime leaves were detected). Thankfully, the soup was not greasy. Overall, though, most of the food tasted like greasy Chinese food (with some MSG and without douchi or shitake), and I would give it fewer stars, but it was a good amount for the price, and still edible after rubbing some grease away. I suspect the sushi is better but don't like raw fish. It came within 10 minutes despite other patrons being there, including pickup orders. I wouldn't return here, mostly because we almost ran someone over while driving there, who suddenly exited his car while he was driving in the middle of the street, and the food was not my type.“
“Don't let the outside fool you! The food here is TOP notch. The interior really took us by surprise, as it looks lively and new. My girlfriend and I ordered the spicy cucumber salad, hamachi, and million dollar roll. The spicy cucumber salad was fresh and a great way to start. The hamachi was really good, the fish was fresh and the skin was nice and crispy. The million dollar roll was really good. You can definitely tell quality ingredients were being used. Our service was prompt and the waitress was very kind. Having lived in parsippany for 3 years and this being our first time here, I wish I would've noticed this spot a bit sooner. We will definitely be back!“
“This has been our go to sushi spot- dine in or take out- for years. The fish is super fresh, the service is wonderful and they’re very accommodating. I often change the tuna lover roll to a salmon lover roll, which I think should be on the menu permanently! The tuna don and salmon don is the best deal around- and their salmon is like butter.I’ve tried a few few of their Thai and Chinese dishes and they were fine, but if I want that food I’ll go someplace else.“
“I got the general tsao combo platter, scallion pancakes. Chicken lo mein. And spicy salmon roll. Super nice they offer sushi, it it’s good quality, as well as the other food. Chicken is not chewy or over cooked. All were excellent. Have eaten a few times here already. One of the fast Chinese take out places I’ve eaten at.Will continue to drive out of the way come back!“
“We love this place, the food is excellent, the jockey, and the lobster roll are my favorites, but in general, all are excellent. Service is excellent. Unfortunately, they don't open Sundays, so you need to plan accordingly. Pricing is average. Definitely recommend this place.“
“They were able to make my dish gluten free!!! And it was great!! They charred my chicken and broccoli with some chili flakes and it was yummy. Their lunch special was only $10-11 too which is pretty nice considering it came with a miso soup and it was a nice portion. And it was done fast too. I will be back :)“
“Fresh tasting fish and not overly cold. The specialty rolls were great as well. Kids loved everything and even fought over the last salmon sashimi. The portions are reasonable. We got in around 5:15 and it was empty at least on the main floor; there was a party on the second floor where the hibachi is. It's quiet on a Thursday night.“
“From what I shared last time (food being so delicious) very disspointed now. Had to throw everything in the garbage today - sushi rolls (spicy tuna and spicy salmon) did not smell fresh at all, looked very different. Ramen soup was disguisting. We used to love this place, truly loved. But last couple of times food seems not the same. Also Doordash took two hours to deliver instead of promised 45 min- have a feeling they were looking for fresh fish and could not find it - so result was obvious. If a manager reads this message would be nice to talk. Otherwise goodbye Blufin“
“Very good music, restaurant was supposed to close 2:30, staff allowed us to stay until 3, we left earlier, but that was really nice. Ate raw fish for the first time, restaurant gave a good impression with the sushi lunch. Calming music was indeed calming. People keep yapping about how they don't greet customers, bro it's a Japanese restaurant, they don't always greet you needy Americans ???. Bet you've been to 5+ restaurants where they didn't greet and you still gave them 5 stars. (Also they greeted anyways ?)Kid-friendliness: Had a brother, staff interacted with him with ACTUAL INTEREST. Nice.“
“We ordered from Blue Wazabi many times and always enjoy their delicious sushi, but have not had the pleasure of eating at the restaurant until tonight. We walked in on a busy Saturday evening and the place was packed! We did not have a reservation and were seated at the bar. The dishes were all amazing as usual, but the service was truly impressive. Even though we waited for a while for our food, Wendy was very attentive and had a complimentary appetizer prepared for us. It was a great evening and I would highly recommend!“
“Consistency is key and Ju-Ichi has delivered several times at different times of the day. Visited both for lunch and dinner with friends and from the sushi rolls to udon and Ramen, excellent broth and tasty menu all around.Kid-friendliness: Have brought my 1 year old here and never found it to be rushed and there are plenty of high chairs for kids.“
