“New Providence Bar and Kitchen was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. We came for lunch and immediately the staff made us feel very welcome. The menu, from the drinks to the entrees, put a fun spin on familiar dishes—just enough to be unique without deviating too much from traditional favorites. The calamari appetizer with chili peppers and capers was the best I’ve ever had— flavors were amazing. The Parmesan-crusted salmon was also tasty and my wife loved her meal too. A wonderful experience!”

“The manager at this location in New Providence is really top notch. Anytime I've had an issue he does his best to remediate. Food is great, you can order from different restaurants in one order. Everyone can choose what cuisine they want without fighting. Much better concept then the trucks. Love the new approach.”

“The ramen is always fresh and flavorful. I usually order spicy miso with breaded chicken on the side. The steamed shumai are also very tasty. My server, Jennifer, was really nice.”

“Stopped in for a late night dinner with my son the food is always good my order wasn’t completely correct but I did like the basil on my french fries I’ll have to do that again sometimes it’s hard to understand people through these plexi glass walls we now live with, well there wasn’t a garbage can available the employee to take my garbage and I appreciate that the sign on the soda fountain to ask for a new cup for refills was a nice add.”

Experience - the experience is good, the atmosphere is nice enough with a nice bar area.

Service - the service is generally very good.

Food - All of the food is very good. They have some nice dishes (cheesesteak, grilled vegetables, burgers). And they have a very nice beer selection.

“Wonderful atmosphere, very spacious. Courteous, prompt, and attentive wait staff. Food is delicious and the menu selections are many, including Japanese and Thai dishes. Portions are quite generous, and their cost is very reasonable. Ample parking, right in the center of downtown New Providence amidst many fine stores and services all within walking distance. Highly recommended!”

Well, the service was so great here and everyone so friendly that I just never left. Always courteous and it was nice to see the employees happy to see their regular customers and enjoy the friendly banter. Great way to start the day.”
