“I LOVE dairy queen! I remember the day when I finished a whole large cookie dough blizzard in one sitting.. now they have extra large and eating that thing is on my bucket list for sure!This Dairy Queen makes great ice cream, but sitting inside kind of makes me feel yucky, in some sense. It's not dirty or anything, it just kind of gives grimy family restaurant vibes, but I'm probably just imagining that.The actual food itself it's alright, it's what you would expect from a primarily ice cream place. But the main focus, being the actual ice cream is obviously great. So many different options, from blizzard to sundae, to hard ice cream in a cone. Always amazing!“

It had Italian salami, pieces of provolone, stuffed cherry pepper w a big Bavarian Pretzel w a fancy mustard and another dipping sauce on the side. The short rib was very good too. The portion could have been a little bigger though UT it was good.“

“Absolutely amazing. If you are in the area, you need to go. The atmosphere is comforting and the service is wonderful. Their specials never disappoint and are super creative. They are great for pies during Thanksgiving, but you must go during St. Patrick's Day. Their specials for St. Patties are the best around. They have amazing breakfast and awesome cakes and pies for desert. Best breakfast around hands down.“

“This was the best blizzard I've ever had. All other dairy queens I've been to have made me either wrong blizzards or liquidy blizzards and God forbid they ever flip it as the dairy queen motto says. They brought us the blizzards, flipped it in front of us and they were better tasting than any blizzards I've ever had. The food was fantastic, better than any fast food place I've ever been to. I am astonished by the quality of this place. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that it isn't closer to my house.“

“Just had a great meal at Country Cottage. Steamed clams were done to perfection with a broth that begged to be eaten with the fresh crusty bread brought to our table. The lamb chops came out medium rare as requested and the eggplant rollatini was served on a bed of fresh spinach with mushrooms and garlic since I had opted not to have pasta. Our waitress was very attentive and provided great service. I was concerned about noise level since the bar had been expanded but it was not an issue at all. My husband and I were able to enjoy our dinners and conversation.“

“This restaurant offers a rare mix of superb service, excellent food, and very reasonable prices; a true 5 star experience. We stopped in for a late lunch with our picky toddlers. They enjoyed their fish and chips and chicken nuggets. I tried it as well and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The owner improvised kiddie cups for our toddlers' apple juice (and I'm grateful that they offered apple juice in the first place). I was craving a Nashville style fried chicken sandwich and described my craving to the owner. He improvised a delicious spicy dry rubbed fried chicken sandwich which satisfied my craving and more. My husband ordered the BBQ chicken and sliced lean brisket. The chicken was very tender and delicious. The brisket was lean and tender. My husband also ordered three diet cokes and they were brought out one at a time with perfect timing to ensure that he had cold drinks to wash down the food. The sides were all great too, highly recommend the mac and cheese and buttered corn. Overall, our lunch visit was a total hit and we will definitely return when we're in the area next. Please open a location in Jersey City!“

Fries which Cajun spices was great as well, but it could be even better if they had fried them a little longer.Parking: The place is just across AMC. There are a lot of parking spots available.“

“This place is really good. I got the big Mac quesadilla and the Cuban panini. The quesadilla is exactly how it sounds and came out great. The Cuban panini has soft, quality bread. You can tell the pork is made in house and it came with fries.All that and a coke was only $25. Ordering food out is so expensive now and this place is an absolute bargain. They have a ton of options and seem like a nice local mom and pop shop.“

“I’ve been eating at Rockaway River Barn for quite some time even meeting with retired work friends. Food has always been consistently good. This last time my granddaughter thought the pizza tasted sour. We all took a bite and agreed. The owner said he would replace it or take off the bill!! Thank you My complaint wasn’t about the food but the fact that the owner charged us $10.50 to cut and serve the birthday cake I made and brought with all the necessary items to cut our own n serve candles n all. Even though we insisted we wanted to cut our own he whisked the cake away saying no he would cut and serve. Never mentioned it would cost us $10.50 to cut our own cake. Not a good practice for an owner. From now on we’ll have cake at home!!! And most likely go to another place. My final word DON’T BRING YOUR OWN CAKE TO THIS RESTAURANT!!“

“Reading some of those comments from before and all different experiences from others here at this place about FOOD. My experience about food at this place, nothing special just simple normal food, I have places before I went too and it was sad to call it food but I don’t go to those places and at same place when they bring me food as soon as I saw my order I would say Nop I will pass once plate is in front of me same moment not after half is gone if that’s not what I ordered . Those of you who complain food is cold or steak is WD instead of MD ….. For the price that you pay same steak or what ever other food ordered how can you expect to be perfect or wow or from Manager to make miracle after that same food in your plate what ever complain is about, more than half of the food is gone / done / eaten by the same person which is complaining how food is bad .So food is bad but wait let me eat half of it and then complain how bad it is - If food is bad you can see on first bite or just by looking at it there is no need to finish half of it and cry after, simple bad food return the plate untouched with explanation also simple - not what I ordered sorry I will pass on it . “While I do like this location and staff, the food quality for mcdonald's in general has to improve. Fries were fresh and probably the best part of my meal. Chicken nuggets tasted like breaded chewing gum. I had a quarter pounder and it was so flavorless that it tasted like cardboard not even extra ketchup helped the patty which by the way looked like a cheeseburger patty. Nothing quarter pound about it. Will be back for the fries though.“

“I feel transported to the 1950s coming here - there's even a drive thru! The Lantern keeps a delightfully vintage menu and aesthetics - serving up old-fashioned hotdogs, burgers, milkshakes, egg cream(!), fries, sandwiches, wraps, ice cream, breakfast foods and more - but not in any kind of intentional hipsterish way...which makes it authentically hip in my book. Their signature item is the hot Texas weiner. Now a Texas weiner ain't like any other chili dog. It's a fried hot dog, topped with a special spiced meat chili sauce (no beans), which you can and should get dressed "all the way," with chili, onions, and mustard. And btw it's not a Texas thing; it's a New Jersey thing...by way of Greece. The chili sauce on a Texas weiner is particular (and not to be confused with your standard-issue chili con carne), and the taste can be divisive. Some people love it; others like my husband didn't care for the chili or the flavor of the dog. It's one of those things, IYKYK I guess. I for one did enjoy my weiner. And my roast beef club and tater tots w/ cheese both hit the spot. It's simple and straightforward food, nothing fancy. I can get with the back-to-basics-ness of the joint which fits with the theme. This should be an irresistible destination for any road trippers and curiosity food seekers. There is ample seating inside, with two dining sections. And the people who work here are nice. The older lady who took our order was so sweet to put cartoons on the TV for my toddler. Probably 3-3.5 on the food, but bumping to 4 for the kitschy charm, good value, and kind service. I just luv the whole vibe!“

“This is one of my favorite DQs in NJ. It has a cool vibe of a local shop where eating out by your car seems natural, even though NO outdoor seating is available.The service by the girls behind the counter is top notch and they check all the boxes with selection of DQ products. There is a bigger DQ on rt 23, but for me this is the best one in the area.“
