Firstly, the restaurant is beautifully decorated, wherein you can feel the passion and love the owner has for their space. The food was beyond delicious. Highly recommend the babaganus, I could have ate buckets of it if given the opportunity. Everything tasted fresh and was so flavorful from the bread service to the dessert. And lastly, the service was impeccable. The restaurant was very busy, and the waitstaff made us feel like we were their main priority from the moment we walked in. Truly a hidden gem tucked away in an unassuming location, we cannot recommend Kilim enough.“

“Went to Choo Choo Train with five friends. Ordered Miso Salmon entree and it was delicious. Salmon was grilled perfectly, broccoli and carrots were cooked well and still crunchy, and mashed sweet potatoes were yummy. Cannot say enough about food and attentive service. Will return...no doubt!“

“No doubt this is the best chocolate eclair I have ever had. The cream pairs extremely well with the chocolate. We also got the hot chocolate which was exceptional as well. Will definitely be going back and bringing friends to try it out as well.“

“I was searching for a new restaurant in Inwood, and I came across Fito. The reviews were good and the pictures looked inviting. I entered the small yet cozy restaurant and was greeted kindly by the waiter. I was seated at what I thought was the best table, right by the window on the side of the bar, and reviewed the simple yet interesting menu. It was hard to choose, but I ordered the salmon. I am reluctant to order salmon unless I am traveling to locations where it is fresh, however, I must say that this was the best salmon I've had in a long time. It was fresh, cooked perfectly, and had subtle flavors. I ordered the old-fashioned, and I'm a bit of a snob about my cocktails, however, this was quite good. Very nice atmosphere with excellent lighting, which is rare these days! The candle on the table was real as well, another rarity. I must also mention the music. A little loud, but fine. And quite interesting. They played electronica, and Depeche Mode and Erasure! What? In Inwood?? I'm a fan. We definitely return to explore the menu further.“

“Alright! Where do i begin?! There were 4 people behind the counter and when i walked in, all four greeted me. The manager greeted at the ordering station and didnt overwhelm me to order my food as this was the first time being there. He asked me if id like any suggestions and we landed on the chicken platter with spicy chickpeas rice and cole slaw. Everything about this bowl was immaculate. The chicken was well seasoned and spiced, the chick peas were tender and savory, and the rice was such a great compliment to the protein. I also ordered their fries because why not!The portion size was generous but not overbearing. They had the mexican coke glass bottles which was a great choice to wash the food down with. I got the brown to top it all off and it was amazing. Chipotle, Qdoba, Halal Guys even have nothing on Juicy Platters. I definitely will be coming back with the family!“

“I brought family here last night to celebrate my son’s graduation day and was pleasantly surprised. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was working, and the staff was accommodating. I had the chicken with sweet potato waffles, which I’m still working on. In fact the entire family needed boxes, just to give you an idea of the portions. I gave 4 stars for the service due to the restrooms being down a steep set of stairs and we had a few elderly folks with us. I will also offer that ownership should be more outward with which options are dairy free. A couple members of our party are dairy free and one ate very cautiously because they were worried about what items contained milk. They may have enjoyed themselves more otherwise. I’ll be honest. I woke up this morning and the first thing I thought about was eating my leftovers for breakfast. Now that’s how you leave an impression! I grew up in this town and we’ve never quite had a place like this. Straight up, EAT HERE!“

“My sisters and I were there in October 2022, and we had a beautiful experience! The pastries were delicious (lemon ginger tart was our favorite) and the atmosphere and customer service were divine! They offered a cake tasting in person, gave us time to think and discuss, didn't rush us to make decisions at all. Their cakes are super moist, not overly sweet, and their designs are so special! Oh yeah, about those flavors - I ordered the almond coconut and it packed a punch. Sadly though, it wasn't a coconut punch. The flavor of the almond (kind of a toasted almond) kept hogging the stage and, if I'm being honest, had I not known it was almond coconut, I would never have guessed that there was any coconut to be had, except for snippets here and there. Don't get me wrong, it was delightful and I'd order it again. But, if you aren't a particular fan of almond, the flavor is on the heavy side. I ordered a medium and took one look at the flimsy cup and thought, THAT'S worth nine bucks?? As long as you don't get a "to go" the server definitely gives you your money's worth! Oh, and the blueberry creme brulee` is another phenom flavor favorite! The little biscuit that accompanies the Gelato is a nice touch too.“

“Luka's is my go to place on Saturday nights, had family up from Florida on Wednesday so we went for dinner on Wednesday night. They had live music the service is always great, The food is outstanding and you always make you feel like you're part of the family.“

In our area they have a restaurant in Scarsdale and another restaurant is in Yorktown Heights. We happen to like the Scarsdale atmosphere, food and the service best. The Yorktown Heights restaurant has better parking, but it is less cozy and not really all that family inviting for a sit-down dinner. The pricing for lunch in the Scarsdale location is really great when you want to order out and have some leftovers for the next day. If you want to spend a little more and you want to have a special occasion dinner then by all means patronize the Scarsdale location because the service is perfect and the food is great!“

It’s as if they know that they’re feeding you a meal that though quick, is bettering your life. Definitely my go to before a movie at AMC.“
