“I do love playa bowls but try to check other bowls businesses. So in general their bowls are good but my bowl was sooo sweet I couldn’t even finish. I’m not sure if they mistakenly added too much honey or something else on my bowl but I couldn’t enjoy it unfortunately. Leaving 4 stars.“

“This place is, with out a doubt, the best Acai/Chia pudding place I have ever been to. On top of that, the chia pudding recipe tis shop is using is something distinctly different from other chia pudding I've had. It's blue, and tastes far more awesome than normal chia pudding.I accidentally discovered this little shop while visiting a friend near Montclair. I live in NYC - caught a train to Montclair Bay St station, and wandered up the block from there looking for some treats to share with friends.Jackpot.I don't live near Montclair, and this location is not convenient to me. However, I now go out of my way to visit this shop whenever I'm passing through the nearby train line.Worth it.If you (please) bring boomchia to downtown Brooklyn, I would eat there everyday. As it stands I'll have to settle for once a week.“

“This is an excellent smoothie and acai bowl place, with a very fitting name! All of the fruit was fresh and smoothies are made to order. I was able to customize a smoothie with almond milk, spinach, banana, Nutella, blueberries, and avocado. It was actually surprisingly good and hit just the spot. So glad to have found this healthy juice/smoothie place in Jersey City!“

“I bumped into this shop shortly after they opened not too long ago. I was extremely pleased with my experience. Excellent juicy lamb and chicken gyro sandwiches, salads, and rice platter! All halal, too.They also serve other dishes. Their menu is not extensive, but I prefer this, since everything is made freshly and their turnover is really fast. The salads are very fresh, everything is juicy and their portions are very generous. The gyro sandwiches and platters include a can of soda, so everything is in my opinion very competitively priced.The people in the store are very kind and attentive, and I have become a frequent visitor who is greeted with a smile. When showing the place to a visiting family, who praised the platter the “best gyro” they ever had, the owner gave one of the kids an extra platter to enjoy later. I think this speaks for itself.Kid-friendliness: High chairs, very casual, very kid friendly operators.“

“Great coffee and tea! Perfect staff: they all care deeply about their craft, and they want you to enjoy it as much as they do.And apparently it’s a climbing gym too! It’s a bizarre place, and I love it.There are books and games around, and some cool seating.“

It’s my fave go to whenever I’m in town visiting my Dad & younger Brother.It’s always so fresh and clean, they offer amending customer service.It’s such a plus that they have some pre-made wellness shots, and they carry Detox Bitters &other supplements like Irish moss, hibiscus, raw black seed & more.They also carry a variety of skincare goodies. “My first time here. I’ve lived right above this place and for the first time I went downstairs went through the front door and I was greeted by which I assume the owners daughter she was really sweet and nice and gave me options because I told her it was my first time and so I got the protein shake which I finished in 2.5 seconds and I ordered the grand slam bowl and it’s so much better then playa bowls it feels and looks healthier will def be coming back everything was so good and soooo tasty!“

“Everything about this place is ?!I happened to speak with the owner, who let me know that this restaurant sources an acai base that utilizes cane sugar, as well as lower sugar content in their pitaya.That's not the only option for a base! They have pumpkin, matcha, coconut, etc, I've tried them all, and all delicious.Also, if you are here early enough, they make overnight oats!“

“One of the freshest poke bowls you'll ever eat. The salmon and tuna are always yummy, especially with the many different sauces they offer. I always do take out because there's very little room to sit. Only thing I wish would improve is if they could cut the salmon pieces a little smaller (the other place I go to does this). But overall, the avocado and all the other ingredients are always super fresh, which you can't say about all poke places.“

“I got hooked on my oat flat white with coconut cream syrup (so delicious, please don’t take my word for it alone and try it yourself :)). Best chocolate chip cookies i’ve ever had and they are vegan. The staff is always nice and I think the inside is nice, airy and pretty. I’d recommend you checking it out.“

“I met a work colleague here the other day as we were looking for someplace to set up for the afternoon prior to an evening event. I ordered espresso and it was excellent. I then ordered a chicken sandwich with grilled peppers and onions, it was very very good. The Cafe is constantly busy and there are teenagers everywhere because I'm guessing there is a high school near by. The bathroom was impeccably clean!“

“Really decent smoothie bowl shop! I was surprised to see a smooth bowl location that could customize so easily. A lot of the places I have visited before do not allow much customization because of pre-made bowls and they never customize without charging extra. I really enjoyed that about this place! The staff here were really kind and the owner was really sweet! It was a nice quaint location with a cool ambience. It had a lot of fresh colors and accents and it gave a nice vibe. The location was perfect next to the Newport station and its close to the Hudson which Made eating with a view great! I would highly recommend the acai base. I was the biggest fan of the blue narwhal but I understand how it could be a fan favorite for those who love coconut! Overall, I'd go again and really recommend it!Vegetarian options: All bowls were vegetarian. They were great about keeping common allergens separate.“

“This is my second time ordering from juice hub and I love it here! Everything is so fresh. My second time ordering I went into the store and Pete helped me. He was so friendly and explained a little bit about the ingredients used in their bowls. I will be back!“

“Very good option for desserts and some other baked goods. The prices are high for the quantity and ingredients.... But people are used to paying for a treat like what is sold here. Monday is beautiful, fresh, clean and welcoming. The attention is good! They should just review the prices and lower them a little and maybe then they will have many more customers and earn more from volume sales than from one-to-one sales.“

“I recently attended a Glen Rock Chamber meeting at Sweetberry Bowls. I loved the atmosphere right away. Before the meeting began I ordered a smoothy, the Strawnana - a mixture of strawberry, banana and coconut milk. It was delicious! During the meeting we got to hear how the owners place a high emphasis on their menu choices being made with natural ingredients with no added sugars. There are lots of healthy choices. I can't wait to go back and taste one of their bowls. This is definitely a place worth checking out.“

“Come here often. Depending on the time it’s usually full of students. The Nutella açaí bowl never fails me. Only thing missing from here that others have are the bottled juices and health drink shots. I don’t know why they don’t have them here. Staff is okay.“

“This is my after jiu jitsu training spot for a refreshing bowl. My personal fave is the passion fruit bowl (add Nutella if you're feeling frisky) The service is quick and efficient and the decor is super cute and beachy. It's a smaller spot so it's not like you can go with a big group but it's def a cute spot for a day date or again after gym, after training activities.“

“I just picked up some takeout from this place... OMG, it's amazing! So authentic! The food is fresh and delicious. I got the chicken and cheese, puff pastry, cheese, bread, balls, and a chicken with Brazilian cheese pancake. The pancake is an actuality a crepe , which makes it even more amazing. It was absolutely delicious and generously filled. There is not a doubt in my mind that I will be coming back.“

“Located close to the Weehawken reservoir in Union City on the Palisade Ave, this outlet is a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the busy union city area close to the Jersey City! The atmosphere is cool with the music setting up vibe for a pleasant dining experience! The servers are friendly too with a warm smile but didn't seem to offer a particular opinion about the recommendations! I went for a goldie mango bowl which had mango at the bottom, topped with granola, bananas, strawberry and Nutella! The mango paste did seem a bit sweet as in terms of extra added sugar which shouldn't be there as they market themselves as a healthy restaurant. The ingredients were definitely fresh and the cost though seemed to be a bit on the higher side given the location! Overall a good experience for me but not sure about returning soon as there could be better options offering the same thing in my neighborhood of Jersey city!“

“Natas & Bowls is my go to breakfast spot. If you like açaí bowls, or bowls of any kind, ditch Playa Bowls (sorry not sorry) & head there! The difference in quality, taste, all of it is obvious. Everytime I go, I get the same order and I am never disappointed. The location has a cool vibe between the chill music, the murals on the wall and the retro Pac-Man machine you can play while you wait. Mauro also makes incredible pasteis de nata, a delicious Portuguese custard that he is constantly perfecting and adding new flavors, seasonally. Check them out!“

“My boyfriend and I are visiting from Kansas and he is celiac so we decided to try this place because of their gluten-free options. I've never really eaten Pokey so I was planning on going to Taco Bell afterwards. I ended up trying the California roll Bowl and was blown away! The sauce they use is delicious and I literally couldn't stop eating it! Zee made our food and was super friendly and helpful in customizing our smoothies. Give this lady a raise ? also bring a location to Wichita KS. We'd love to have you!“

“Excellent juice bar! Pictured is the Green Street Juice, which is so healthy & tasty. I get a Wellness Shot of Beet juice, and love the Ginger, lemon & cayenne (it's strong so be prepared). If you like chocolate the Cinna-Delight Acai Bowl is served with Nutella & is such a fun treat! I've tried both soups, the vegan pea soup and vegan chili. The pea soup is delightful and filling with chunky veggies and is seasoned well. The chili is super thick but flavorful, it's a little spicy but not too bad. I tried the Asian Salad which was fresh but not my favorite. I love the Iced Mylks and had the Dragon Berry Milk which is my absolute favorite. If you like coffee the Cafecito coffee is tasty! Lastly pictured is the Vegan Donuts, Vegan Matcha & Blueberry. The Vegan Carrot Cake Donut is my favorite. I visit the Raw Squeeze often and they never disappoint! “I've been to four different Playa Bowls, and I have to say that I do love the one in Montclair the most. The atmosphere is just so calm and relaxing. They're not playing loud music with vulgar lyrics. (I've been to one that does that.) I also love that the worker who took my friend's order had memorized the two bowls that she frequently orders for herself and her husband. She knew every customization and recited it to my friend before she could even place her order. I was impressed.“
