“This was a laid-back, divey type of bar that supported the Packers as there was memorabilia throughout the inside. There were a few tables with mostly high tops surrounding the bar as well as outdoor seating with televisions. The menu had a few unique bar features along with over 140 wing flavors. Two types of wings and the special empanadas were ordered. The wings came eight to an order and seemed to be of good quality. They were meaty and large too. The sauces that were picked were awesome sauce ($14) and the Pickle Me Elmo Pickle Dressing ($15). The awesome sauce seemed to be a yum yum sauce but could not be exactly sure as the menu did not provide a description and just stated 'don't' ask - It's awesome." Regardless, it was very tasty. It was not spicy at all if unfamiliar with yum yum sauce. The pickle sauce was decent. I would have preferred more of the sauce present, but it was okay at best. The special empanada consisted of hot sausage and mozzarella. There were two to an order and they were big. The overall empanada was extremely crispy. There was plenty of filing and it seemed to be more of a chorizo texture than sausage, but it was still great. Will I go back? Definitely.“

The burgers, meatloaf and pita wraps were excellent. The owner Vinnie greeted us and seated us, then came by to chat with us. The server was attentive and seemed to like her job. I highly recommend the jackfruit croquettes and the sliders which I love that they have vegan options for someone like me. I'm not sure of the name it was a passionfruit cosmo type drink and I didn't even realize it came out with a dry ice bubble. 10/10 for presentation on everything and ambiance. They have a dining area which feels a little more formal ( the chairs were so comfy by the way) and then a bar area with high tops which I think would be great for a girls night. “I have been here a few times and I mean it is a typical pub like any other. It's pretty clean and it can get full. I had their burger one drunken night and I knew it was good but I didn't quite remember it. So today my husband and I got their burger again and HOLY, it is one of the best I have had in JC. My husband actually told the bartender the story about how we tried a hyped up burger in the area and it was so so and she actually told the owner about it and he made us the burger from scratch. This place is very JC and they have such great service and food!“

“This restaurant is very nice. To start, it's a great place to go before an event at the Red Bull Arena. It's very close only about 3-4 blocks away from the stadium. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice with quiet music playing and nice tables spaced out so you won't be cramped next to someone. They have outside seating for a nice summer day with a tent over the outside seating to stay cool. You won't be having any problems with the service because it is great! They have a bar so you can stop by and get a drink with your friends. There are lots of options on the menu and happy hour everyday from 5-7:30. Now for the food. The food is great! The food came out fast and hot. We ordered the chicken strips, crab cake, and the flatbed pizza. We also got the calamari the was amazing! The price is also very reasonable. Overall I would suggest this restaurant if you want some dinner and you are near Harrison.“

We dined upstairs, they had music which is something they are planning to do on occasions throughout the winter. The owners are incredibly nice, our waitress was so sweet & super attentive. I really hope the owner responds to this review because, even though we order from Underdog often and like their food, we have a huge gripe with their cheeseburger sliders. But before I get there, what I do like about the place: they're really fast, prices are reasonable, the wings are great, and the portions are fair. We've tried a variety of items, including the filet mignon, and found them all to be delicious.Now about the sliders. These cheeseburger sliders are supposed to come with pickles, onions and cheese, and no matter how many times we order them, they are always screwed up. They almost never come with pickles or onions. And if we give them instructions when getting multiple orders of sliders to leave off the cheese on one order, they will leave it off on both orders. They never follow instructions. Just the other evening, for example, we again ordered the sliders, with no cheese. But, they were delivered with no cheese, no pickles and no onions. So we basically just got plain bare burgers. So disappointing, can you please work with your kitchen to make the sliders correctly and the order notes? It's really disappointing to keep ordering them and not have them prepared correctly.“

“I wanted to try the local bar for a while now. I absolutely loved it there. I went on a Thursday since weekends they get crazy mobbed. My sister and I had 4 drinks in total. 3 cocktails and one draft beer. We split an order of wings and she had the clams in garlic sauce and I opted for a picadinho which is one of the best ones I've had, by far. We paid about $120 with tip and thats the only reason for the 4 star. Its a bit expensive for a local bar. Unless of course their looking to be more than just a local bar.“

“On September 23, 2023 we held a birthday party for my mother to celebrate her 90th birthday. We chose to have the celebration at the Fair Lawn Athletic Club for several reasons. In 1998 we celebrated my parents 40th wedding anniversary at the FLAC. In October 2022 we held a repast for my father at the FLAC, and as mentioned above, we just recently had a celebration for my mother at the FLAC with almost 100 friends and family in attendance .The reason we choose the FLAC is because Mike and Maura Campanile do an Excellent job with the events at the FLAC. They provide great service, great food, great communication in the time leading up to, as well during the event , and of course the bar serves up Great drinks!There are many places you can obviously choose to have events and celebrations at. We feel very comfortable knowing that Mike and Maura will ensure the event runs smoothly with their staff, providing great service and support.I would highly recommend the FLAC for any of your events.“
