“We had the Yum Nuer, Karee Pu Noodles, and Crab Fried Rice. All we’re delicious. I’d recommend ordering extra noodles as there was curry left over, but it’s great over the rice too. For dessert we shared the mango sundae (fresh mango, sticky rice, and mango ice cream). Everything was amazing and service was great. Totally recommend!“
“The wine selection is outstanding, accompanied by a superb food menu that's straightforward and user-friendly. The ambiance is wonderfully minimalist, and the food is served at the ideal temperature with exceptional flavor. We enjoyed the Long Island duck and pork tenderloin, as well as steelhead trout and gulf prawns for starters. I highly recommend stopping by if you find yourself in NYC.“
“Great vibe and ambiance! The bartender Troy was so helpful with drinks and suggestions for food. I loved the Hold Fast to your Dreams, it’s a perfect drink to take your time with and gives the feel of a sweeter old fashioned with a hold fast twist! Food is EXCELLENT I had the steak tacos that were so flavorful and filling, with the Steak Frites. The steak was well marinated, perfectly cooked, and the sweet potato fries were a great compliment. Such a great space for a night out, date, or self love definitely will be back!“
“Came in around 2pm on Saturday for brunch. My friend and I ordered the burger and the brunch plate with Brussels sprouts, omelette and sausage. Everything was solid, the fries, sausage, etc. Service was good too!Hope to come back to try more items.“
“It is always to come back to this great place. I love stuff there and the atmosphere they are making there. Unique drinks, with great flavors you'll never think off. Amazing food, always tasting delicious. Highly recommended to visit while being in Greenpoint.“
“Leitao is one of the best atmospheres in NYC with some of the most delicious food at a good price. The staff are welcoming and attentive. They do an incredible job of bringing Portuguese culture to America. You can’t go to Leitao and not have a good time. I would recommend attending one of their Fado nights, where you can hear traditional Portuguese music performed live.“
“Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish.Every single thing we ordered was delicious and so flavorful. I’m very picky about my Sichuan food and Chili exceeded my expectations.Definitely try the scallion beef pancake roll and the golden corn with salted egg yolk! (But really, try everything we ordered **see photos**)Interior is such a vibe. Service is incredible. We are in love. Will definitely come back regularly.“
“Wow this place truly surprised us! We made a last minute dinner reservation here to catch up with some old friends and it did not disappoint. We called the restaurant earlier in the night to see if we could push back our reservation an hour and they were so accommodating even on a busy Saturday night. The drinks were well made and the wine list had great Italian selections. The pasta….to die for! It is so authentic and perfectly al dente like you were in Italy. The ingredients in each dish we got (burrata, cacio e Pepe, carbonara, and chicken Parmesan) tasted so fresh and the portion sizes were perfect. They had great gluten free options as well. We ended up spending over 3 hours here and we were not rushed during our meal at all, which is sometimes super hard to find in NYC. Highly recommend this place, I can’t wait to go back.Dietary restrictions: All pasta can be made gluten free.“
“The Newsroom's ambiance is a tasteful homage to the journalistic world, with vintage decor and a very appealing Station lounge prior to entering the space. The dim lighting creates an intimate atmosphere, perfect for both casual outings and more formal occasions. The restaurant successfully captures the essence of a bygone era, making it a unique and charming spot in the bustling city. Our server was Omar and offered impeccable service. The rest of the staff is also very friendly but and well-versed in the menu, offering insightful recommendations. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, the warm hospitality makes you feel right at home. Absolutely love the service. Now to the other important part, the food. The menu at The Newsroom is a symphony of flavors, pleasing to all palates. The diverse range of dishes caters to various tastes, and fuses contemporary and classic elements. Love the squid ink paella as well as the innovating hanging empanadas. Silly as it sounds but the Triple Pork pizza was tasty. The lamb chop was also a spectacular menu item. Cocktails, usually with a mini show, it's not always good in taste. But we had both the Editors Punch and The Interview and both tasted great. Just love the presentation of it.Seems like The Newsroom's bar menu is a celebration of mixology, offering a selection of handcrafted cocktails that perfectly complement the culinary offerings. Whether you prefer a classic Old Fashioned or one of their inventive concoctions, the skilled bartenders ensure that each drink is a work of art.Overall, The Newsroom stands out not only for its delectable cuisine but also for the immersive experience it provides. It's a testament to the notion that a restaurant is more than just a place to eat – it's an opportunity to create memories. They had a live acrobatic show, and live musician throughout the night making it such a good vibe to the place. Whether you're a food enthusiast, a history buff, or simply someone looking for a memorable dining experience, The Newsroom is a must-visit destination.“
“Ama raw bar is a Gem! Recently had a private event at Ama East village for our wedding after party and the food, drinks and space was amazing. Carly was an amazing resource and helped us cater the food and drinks menu from day one. Would recommend for a night out or an event! Thanks so much team!“
“It was a great European Georgia experience for me..My only Georgia connection was dj Tengo from the secret society that plays great house music and I never knew anyone or anything Georgian.I gave it a try and it was delightful and so ANTAtaining ( I'm Anta and.i have a level.of awesome one reach to be called Antataining beyond normal).I of course Google what's good here before ordering what I don't know. I saw a few interesting pictures and I was craving bread I rarely have very often by choice. And then comes the casserole ? like bread with cheese with an egg on top.I was like aaaa www cool it looks like when i was a kid and we play.with our dool kitchen but we pretend to eat it only this time it was real. And boy sooooo delicious. It was like that moment came to life and playtime became real. And the show the lady gave when serving was something I have seen similar for a been since I haven't been doing so much fine dinning ( need to change that and will after the reminder). Fluffy, cheesy.and creamy center after the waitress mixed it and stretched the cheese to show me how ??? cheesy and smooth that content was. Aaawww I was excited. I ate it all and was full. And the lamb dumplings was delish! Definitely coming back to this and recommend.it. #yaaasss from the princess of djolof.i cook like a queen and this was delish.“
“I've been wanting to try this place for months and made time on this trip. Beautiful bar with an inviting and helpful staff. It was a Monday afternoon, so not too busy. The selection of beer was really good with a solid HH (perfect if you want to try a more expensive brew).“
“So I have been to Blue Ribbon before but not since the whole COVID thing. Everything was delicious as expected. It was a group of 5 of us and we got the half-round banquette by the front of the dining room (first time having that table and it is the best seat in the house in my opinion. Our group shared some of my old favorites and tried some new items. Apps we got escargot, bone marrow, foie gras terrine, steak tartar, pork ribs, and watercress salad. All of which were outstanding though I was blown away that the escargot had changed. The old escargot was a shining star in my opinion, but I was over my disappointment quickly with how incredible everything else was. The cocktails we absolutely delicious as well. Though we ordered pretty standard classics in Americanos and Negronis, it was hands down the best Americano I have ever had. For entrees we had the fried chicken, the duck breast special, the duck club, the hangar steak with truffle butter and two sides (asparagus and the collard greens) all of the entrees were superb however I have to call out the collard greens for being disturbingly delicious. We were all shocked at how great they were. These were what the collard green has always aspired to be. One of my guests had a few too many and I was aware of the staff keeping an eye on them. As a restaurant owner, I can't fault them at all and was a bit embarrassed by my guest. We pretty much sped through dessert with just some espressos, a scoop of sorbet and 2 milk punch and vacated the table as other guest were waiting. Out of my guests, I was the only one familiar with Blue Ribbon and I was eager to share this restaurant with them. I was through the roof with how delighted everyone was with their experience. Thank You Blue Ribbon“
“This is a perfect little Italian date night spot! Totally a hidden gem in Morningside Heighs, it’s literally 16 minutes uptown on the 1 train and is serving up very high quality wood fire oven pizza and several legit pasta dishes! ?You can seriously taste the difference of a wood fire oven pizza versus not and their dough is homemade, light and airy. And they even have gluten free options. Dinner at the bar is also an option, their drink menu is kinda wild. Here were some menu highlights:? Columbia Pie: Vodka sauce, mozzarella, grana, double basil pesto? Gemelli: Fresh pasta with shrimp, tomato sauce, burrata, spicy peppers, spinach? Orecchiette: Broccoli rabe and ricotta pesto, sundried tomatoes, pecorino, fried mushrooms? Trick or Treat: Rye whiskey with cinnamon, Campari, honey, and Nardini Amaro“
“Really excellent food.Pao de queijo was solidPasteis were flavorful and had a great texture, beef was the favorite there.I've had feijoada a few times and honestly never liked it, but I tried it here since our server said it was one of the best things on the menu - she was not lying. Meaty, really well seasoned, and the beef was super tender. The one thing i will say is that the tables are pretty small. I wanted to eat family style with my friend but it was made very difficult by the fact that the two plates take up a solid 70% of the table.Great experience though, best Brazilian food I've had“
“I hosted 25 people here, in the back patio, and Avoca was fantastic. So accommodating, allowed everyone to have separate tabs, got the heaters out, and lent us speakers (it was a trivia night). The food and drinks are excellent (get the truffle fries and the Smokey Oaxaca cocktail!), and the service truly could not have been better. The vibe inside is swanky but chill, cozy and also a little fancy, not like a pub. Avoca is definitely one of my fave UES bars and restaurants.“
“This place is a fantastic Mexican restaurant! ?? Jajaja Mexicana serves a wonderful selection of delicious ? Mexican dishes ?️ - everything from tacos ?, burritos ? , nachos, quesadillas, tamales , and more! Definitely get the Nachos, Chips and Guacamole ?, Atun Warpito, Chorizo Burrito, and the Coconut ? Queso ? Quesadilla! Staff ?? is super friendly and professional, ambience ? is fantastic, and the place is nicely decorated! ?️ I wish I came here more often!“
“Highly recommend Bubo for your next dinner option or happy hour! The food is delicious and offers much more variety than your typical bars. The ambiance was warm and cozy and a great spot for a date night or hanging out with some friends. It’s located near a great area with the subway close by which makes commuting that much easier. Would love to come try their brunch next!“
“AMAAAAAAAAZZZINNNNGGGGGG! Do. Not. Hesitate!!! Came here with a friend to see their version of The Nutcracker. It was worth every penny. Having the ability to attend shows like this is the reason why I live in NYC. I don't want to give too much away, but whatever you think it is, trust me that you will be surprised. I will say the talent, costumes, choreography, and performances were all top notch. Come here with an open mind and you will have the best time. A few pro tips: - it is DEFINITELY for OPEN-MINDED adults (e.g. no kids or Conservative grandparents) - there was a small line getting in, but it moved fast - they have a coat check, but you can keep your coat at your seat if you'd like - every seat in the house is good, but personally I would not want to stand the entire time - the intermissions are long enough to grab a drink or go to the bathroom - the drinks are expensive, so bring money, but you can sit in large, cushy chairs with a tiny table at each that is large enough to fit an ice bucket and two glasses - cameras are allowed without flash, so we got some great pics and videos, but we sat on the far left side of the room. I feel it would have ruined the vibe to see a lot of phones in the crowd, and accordingly, most people chose not to do it. Again, not going to post any here so as not to spoil it. Don't sleep on this!!!“
“I LOVE this place. It’s of course great for brunch or dinner or drinks with the scrumptious food and lovely water view, but we just had our baby shower here and I couldn’t be happier with how I turned out. Working with the restaurant was seamless and SO easy. They have a pastry chef on staff that made THE MOST delicious and beautiful cake and the space they provided us was private, beautiful and they let me take the reins with decor. They even made custom drink and food menus that matched my theme! Additionally, service day-of was impeccable. All this and it was an extremely cost effective option compared to a lot of places in LIC and Astoria. Can’t wait to host another event at American Brass!“
“We came to Vinyl tonight to celebrate a friend’s 40th birthday and had an outstanding experience, from the time we stepped into the space to the second we left. The staff was friendly in a way that felt genuine and not forced. We were checked on several times by Sebastian, the stupendous manager. We got an expert wine recommendation from Kevin, the sommelier and owner (who did not introduce himself as the owner, an act of humility, I assume). The food was some of the best I’ve ever had (this coming from a vegetarian, who mostly was just along for the ride that the birthday boy had picked). Cannot recommend this place thoroughly enough. The atmosphere they’ve created is so nicely enhanced by the vinyl records they play, not too loudly that it makes conversation challenging. Worth every penny we paid. We will absolutely be back.Vegetarian options: You don’t expect such well thought out vegetarian options at a steakhouse, but meat-free options were as carefully constructed as the steak.“
“My team and I came here for a happy hour after work and had a great experience! I worked with the events manager to coordinate a drink package, platter order, and the space for 40 people ahead of time. Night of, the service, drinks, and food were amazing and we had so much fun. Definitely consider for a group / team event! We will be back.“
“The great taste of the original with a vastly improved ambiance and experience. Of course the ambiance is at an increased price point but that’s worth it. Biryani was delicious, nice presentation, and great quantity. Their menu has sections that especially caters to vegetarians, vegans, Jains - that is quite unique.Vegetarian options: Menu sections for vegetarians, vegans, Jains.“
“Best neighbourhood bar in NYC by a long shot. Good food, incredible cocktails and impeccable service. The owner is a very tall fella called Barry and supposedly he's called Tall Ships and gives free shots to anyone who calls him by his nickname.“
“Celebrated our anniversary at this gem, and the experience was exceptional. The top-notch service and delightful caviar hand roll were highlights. The food, a perfect 10/10—impeccable balance and flavors. Despite comments on portion size, with 7 courses, they're just right, leaving room for dessert and an extra glass of wine. We're already planning our return!“
“What a hit of a place!Nestled in Manhattan, Osteria Noninno packed in some great Italian vibes and flavors. We got there an hour before our dinner reservation to enjoy their daily (yes, daily!) Happy Hour. The Pinot Noir they house is absolutely wonderful, and that's a big revelation for me because I'm typically not amused by a Pinot. I now stand corrected. After a round of drinks at the bar, we were ushered to our table for an incredible meal that followed, and a few more glasses of Pinot of course. They start you off with fresh bread - soft interiors and a crusty exterior, ideal for that scarpetta moment (the soaking your entrees' sauces). This came along with confit tomato oil, and boy was that impressive too! It packed some great depth of flavors! For our mains, we shared the following:Chicken Parmigiana with Penne in Vodka Sauce (5/5) - this was part of their daily specials and an absolute stunner of a dish. The chicken was perfectly breaded, tender yet crispy, and very well seasoned. The Penne was al dente, just as we like it, and the vodka sauce was just right. They also give you a choice of penne or spaghetti to go with it. 100% repeat-worthy.Cacio-e-Pepe (4.5/5) - this is prepared table side and who doesn't love a bit of theatrics and a cheese-wheel? Simple and classic. Worth noting, if you'd like, you can ask for your pasta to be more or less al-dente. Love the flexibility they offer. At the start of your meal, they even come up to you offering that extra bit of crushed peppers and/or Parmesan. Again, love the ability to customize, or just to get in that extra bit of parm and pepper to make the already incredible plate of food, extra decadent. To end with, we had to order dessert, and that decision got tougher when we learnt that most are prepared in-house by the owner's father - the person after who the restaurant is named. To add complexity to our decision making process since we only had room for one, the day's special sounded like a hard one to miss. However, since we came in with a plan to get that table-side Tiramisu, we had to stick to it and not deviate. Really hoping their special's from yesterday - Pistachio Lava Cake, is available on our next visit too because I'm still living a what if moment towards it.That being said, the Tiramisu (5/5) was the best I've had and I have had a few. Prepared in front of you, the espresso doused ladyfingers, fresh mascarpone on top, and the bitter cocoa is a chef's kiss and another must order!Just when we thought that we were done, we were reminded that the Italians live a hearty life, so we had to do the same and ended with a little bit of a digestif - Limoncello! This wrapped up our experience wonderfully.Every item on the menu was a huge hit, and I couldn't be happier by the service, warmth offered by the staff, and interiors of the place. I am telling all of my friends about this place and am already planning a return to this gem!“
“We went for brunch with friends from out of town. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and made to feel welcomed! Love the decor, the music and the overall vibe of Harry’s! You can taste the quality ingredients in each dish. The menu has something for everyone. The service was impeccable. Thank you Cellio ( young man who recently joined the team) We will be back!Vegetarian options: Pastas available“
“You might walk past without realizing it's even there but this Japanese restaurant has a sophisticated drink menu with speakeasy vibes. Appetizers offer unique dishes and flavors that you'll have trouble finding anywhere else. Highly recommend and make sure to get a reservation even on a night you might expect to be slow.“
“I was trying to find a space big enough for my team and I to have a casual dinner and Allene and her team at TLH made our experience so great. Starting from the initial conversation on if they had space, what that space would look like, and menu options, Allene was patient and understanding with all of my inquiries. We sat at a cozy corner table in the back by the glass windows and ordered pretty much everything off of the menu (food was fantastic). Our host was very kind to us throughout the experience and our server was top notch. I was town between TLH and another restaurant and decided to go with TLH because of the raving reviews of their staff and I do no regret my decision. I will be back!“
“Highly recommend Ita Italian Kitchen in JC for a memorable dinner outing ( and for my gf and I, thats very hard to come by since we are very picky and foodies!). The dining experience at Ita Italian Kitchen is delightful, with standout dishes like beef bolognese, antipasto with olives and cheese, and clams that are sure to impress your taste buds! Don't miss out on trying their espresso martini(though got mine with house tequila), a real highlight of their drink menu. While some drinks may lean towards being too sweet, the overall experience at Ita Italian Kitchen is excellent and perfect for a special dinner outing! Service was immaculate.“
“I visited first time..but its really a good restaurant . The way receiving the customers was really good . Moreover, non veg was too good and parking lot was also good. I will visit next time also. Its really a nice place to families and bachelors..“
“Great but not the best bang for your buck.Food was delicious don't get me wrong, but serving size was quite little in my personal opinion for the amount you pay (especially in comparison to other italian restaurants). It may look big in the photos, but there really isnt much once you dig into it.The flavor profile of everything was definitely great and I enjoyed my time here! But nothing that Wow'd me enough to keep coming back. I'd say this is more of a great one and done experience for me.“
“Found this gem accidentally, the spot was both lively and cozy. Service was fast and staff was very attentive. Food was 10/10, I had the fish tacos and shrimp ceviche, amazing flavor and just enough of a spice kick(: easily one of my new favorite “
“I have visited several restaurants, but I definitely liked this one too much. The incredible service, Lorena, excellent attention, thank you, the food, wow… delicious, the burrito al pastor, I recommend it, and the margaritas even more. I will return. I recommend them.“
“Came to dine in early February and booked OUTDOOR CABANA for 4 peopleOrdered Butcher’s FeastContains several kinds of meat, side dishes, soups, and steamed eggsThe outdoor box table is not very big and there is no oven in the middle. The waiter finished grilling the meat outside the box and brought it inThe food is generally on par, not particularly amazing. The portion is quite enough, but we still added 2 portions of barbecueJust a restaurant of this caliberOUTDOOR Deviation in dining environmentThe outdoor box is actually very small and not very comfortable. And the heating is always turned off…It’s really getting colder and colder sitting here in early FebruaryAsk the waiter to replace the heaterI sat down and turned off the heater again.“
“Nestled in NYC's Upper East Side, Me Jin Ramen delivered authentic Japanese flavors. The cozy ambiance and welcoming staff set the stage for a memorable dining experience. I had the Meijin Miso Ramen and ate the whole thing. The broth, simmered to perfection, harmonizes with the chewy, house-made noodles and exquisite toppings like tender beef, bean sprouts, green onions and sweet corn. As a local, I treasure Meijin Ramen for its consistently exceptional quality and comforting atmosphere. For a taste of Japan in the heart of NYC, Meijin Ramen is an absolute must-visit.“
“Been here several times over the past year. Always delivers. The service was fantastic - when we told our waiter we didn't want to be rushed (old friends catching up) he gave us our space but was always available when needed. He handled us absolutely perfectly. The food did not disappoint - we shared a bunch of awesome appetizers - a flatbread, a salad and ahi tuna. Meals were all great as well. There was plenty to choose from, and daily specials too. And, of course, they have a fun drink menu if you want to imbibe, which we did. Had a fantastic time, it's a great atmosphere, guitar player / singer in the background is super talented and adds to the whole experience.“
“Had a nice night after a concert with my brother :) great reasonably priced draft beer selection. The bartender was so sweet helping me pick a cider and giving me samples. When my brother left but I was waiting for Uber, but looked tired as heck bc I came after work, she checked on me and asked if I was OK and needed anything. I've lived in New York for 5 years, and no bartender has ever done that for me. Good people and great place :)“
“Wow, the food here is absolutely incredible! The flavors are out of this world, and I can't get enough of it. The service is top-notch too, they really know how to take care of their customers. And let's not forget about the ambience, it's so beautiful and inviting. This place has got it all!“
“Vibey, cozy, spot with delicious dishes. We started with the griddled blueberry muffin which was absolutely incredible. Lattes were delicious and served hot. The double cheese burger was very tasty, definitely opt in for the egg and bacon on top. And finally the chilaquiles were flavorful and cheesy. Our waiter, Randell, even threw in a mini sundae because we were celebrating our honeymoon! So sweet.“
“The atmosphere is the best of any restaurant I've been in (as far as I remember). It's comfortable yet classy. Inviting yet elegant. The drinks are high quality for a reasonable price, and the waiters are friendly and professional.I ordered their Brisket Sliders + Fries from the menu, and the dish is genuinely good quality & quantity for $24.I definitely see this becoming a regular spot for me.“
“So happy I found Juke Bar when looking for a place to host a 30th birthday party!!! The private room in the back was absolutely perfect for our group of 15 people (they have a bigger space to rent, too!) Everyone commented on what a cool spot it was. We had our own access to the bar and the bartenders were awesome!!! Great drinks and vibes, and they were kind enough to pop in intermittently and clear any cups etc. as the night went on. Planning with them was a breeze, Rory was super helpful and accommodating. I just can’t recommend this place enough!!! Book it!!!!!!“
“loved this place! The food was amazing and everything tasted fresh, we celebrated my sisters birthday here and the tiramisu was to die for, the staff was very friendly, the host Nestor was super welcoming and nice to us, will definitely be coming back for more!“
“The Short Rib SECO & PEPIAN was amazing. The ribeye steak was quite good as well. The CEVICHE CARRETILLA was interesting and flavorful with a contrast in texture from the crunchy calamari and the chewy fish. Ceviche itself is a bit too sour for me, but I still enjoyed it.“
“We gave Luna's a try for brunch this Sunday. They could do with better outdoor signage, but the red awning eventually confirmed we were at the right place. Once inside, it's pretty small. There's outdoor seating too. It feels like a bar first and foremost, and I'm guessing it looks prettier in dim light. The food was really tasty without feeling unhealthy. Also attractively presented and came in generous portions. I recommend the huevos rancheros, and the eggs benedict, but not the steak as it was cooked medium rare as ordered but not tender. The quesadilla was not bad. Our single waiter took our orders and brought us our food efficiently. Eating out feels more expensive these days, and while I consider Luna's decent value, I wouldn't call it cheap. Maybe that's how it needs to be nowadays, despite being in a grittier part of town. Everyone's just trying to make it work. Just maintain the quality of food at an affordable price and we'll be back!“
“This is probably our favorite bar in the area. The cocktails are always changing and always delicious. Lisa does a fantastic job and never misses a beat. Also don't sleep on the food. The spicy chicken and truffle fries are phenomenal. It can get crowded because it's so good so getting in early is best to get a good seat. That being said, the atmosphere is lively but chill. Highly recommend it.“
“Love this place! Food is great and atmosphere is chill. You can go for just mezzes and dips and be satisfied or a big meal. The brunch specials are great too! I just ate here with my 5 month old baby and the staff was so friendly and accommodating!“
“The Bar is located in basement of "Chanson." Would recommend a reservation on Friday and Saturday nights.Ambiance is lowkey lux with extravagant drink presentations. Noise level is moderate/loud.Service is good for a busy Friday night, attentive.Drinks are all very different, makes me wanna come back to try them all! Abstract Mandarin was fruity and refreshing gin based drink, fun but not that extravagant presentation. The Noir has a nice smoky taste with a fancy glass that makes it a bit difficult to drink from bar counter because it is so tall.Would come back again.“
“This is my second time here. Overall great vibe, but I think the food is a little bit too salty this time. The thousand year old egg is my favorite. Just be careful that the pepper topping is very spicy.Probably because it’s Chinese new year time, and also Friday night, service is slow.“
