Ended up being fantastic! We ordered the cold mixed platter, phyllos (beef). They give you a ton of pita lasting into the meal. I had the combo of falafel, chicken shish, rice. And he had lamb, beef shish saitain style(? Maybe misspelled). Everything was so delicious. No ‘funky’ pieces of any meat, very good portions. I liked the falafel but wish I doubled in chicken. Dessert - u would highly recommend the lava cake.The service is so friendly. Our waitress Toni was patient to explain the menu to us. And any person who helped or dropped off food was very nice.We will absolutely be back here. Also note it is BYOB. Nice atmosphere, clean and style was more upscale than I expected.“

“We went to Tosca Mangiano for our Anniversary on a Friday night, the food was absolutely amazing, Pulpo cooked to perfection, the gnocchi was probably one of the best I have had, my husband ordered the Bronzino and he said it was delicious! Dessert was the Almond sponge cake which was decadent! The service was not great, disappointing considering the quality of the food.“

“First time at Frappe Joe and it was soooo good the coffee was amazing. I got a turkey bacon egg and cheese bagel and omg just so good!! And their Raspberry Crumbcake. “I just have to say that this place is one of my favorites to eat out at. If I could have a full meal of their bread I would- It is just probably one of the best breads I've ever had. Also I am a picky eater for example I don't even like pizza, yet I have yet to find something on the Birdge's menu that I don't like. Their kababs are so tasty and filling and their rice is perfectly seasoned and creamy. I recently went with my friend and I got one dish and I was SOOO full from it and I'm still dreaming about it. The staff are so kind and the waiters are very friendly. great experience :), Also the seating by the window is so nice to sit at at night!!!!“

Every time we order, the food is always consistently good and you get a lot of food for the price. “I love this little place! We travel about 30 minutes to eat here about three times a year and it's always been spectacular. He usually we end up with the gyro platter cuz that's just what we know and like. But this time we tried the meat platter for two for some variety and it was outstanding! Couldn't believe how much meat there was probably could have fed three or even four people! We brought enough leftovers home for another two dinners! Everything was outstanding and it was really a great variety of all the different meats they have. Would highly recommend this place however make sure you make reservations. They are very small inside and are typically always busy unless you come way before the peak dinner hours.“

“You get a very good size pita here! About the size of a biiiiig overstuffed burrito. The smoked eggplant in the falafel supreme is soooo good. Crepe was good too, it's one big crepe folded into a square instead of the usual rolls I'm used to. Definitely a share worthy size. Quick and friendly service too :)“

“I have been going to Grill Point about once a month for the past 2+ years, and I don't remember being disappointed a single time. I always get a lunch special, which is reasonably priced for the quantity and (especially) quality of food you get. The owners are really kind and involved in daily operations. The lunch appetizers are amazing, with options including homemade hummus, labne, and the best lentil soup I have ever had. The kebabs are tender and juicy, spiced to perfection. And the thin, Lebanese-style pita bread, which always comes fresh and warm, is to die for, hitting a sweet spot between soft and crispy. I have also tried their baklava before, and I have to give that a thumbs-up, as well!Overall, Grill Point is a hidden gem, truly a treasure of Route 9. Turn in at the U-Haul, and prepare to enjoy a truly wonderful Mediterranean meal.“

“If you want good,authentic Greek without needing to go to a "high end" restaurant with "high end" pricing you found it! Jimmy's has always been consistently excellent with the food they have served me and my family. The service is fast and attentive and they do a good job making you feel welcome. The restaurant is nestled in a strip mall and when inside it is nicely decorated and comfortable. The Gyro platters and Mixed Grill platter are extremely good and the portion sizes are nice as well. The Lemon Potatoes are cooked perfectly and are addicting. My favorite side dish and if they come with the meals even better. The spinach rice is also highly recommended if you choose that as your side or have it with your meal. Always go back to this place as I haven't found a Greek restaurant close to them in the area.“

As a bonus, they are byob and a there's a small store next to it that sells wine. They also own the Greek pastry shop next door for your Greek pastry fix. “Had a double meat beef Shawerma and a falafel sandwich from here. I have tried shawerma in 15 different countries and dozens of cities. This one stood out for me because of the flavor they marinate their meat in as far as the shwerma. And as for the falafel sandwich, I thought it was great too. Their prices are very reasonable considering the crazy inflation that's taking our country by a storm.“

“Wanted to try somewhere different and looked up on open table some restaurants and reviews. I found Hudson Square in Matawan and the pictures showed a really nice looking restaurant . I read the reviews and most were good. It had a lot of openings for a Saturday night so we decided to try it without a reservation. When we arrived there were a few cars in the parking lot. It’s Saturday night places are busy. This restaurant replaced a catering hall so the parking lot is huge. The entrance is in the back. Beautiful restaurant nice bar area. Lots of empty tables. Food was good we had meatballs , branzino ( it was the whole fish) but the waiter told me that. The chicken dish with artichokes and potatoes was a large portion. I was disappointed they did not have cucumber volka for a cucumber martini and no wine list just glasses of house wine which was good by J Lohr. Overall I enjoyed my meal and quiet atmosphere. By 930 there were just six people sitting at bar. The waiter was excellent and attentive. The bread on the table was good . Everyone should try this restaurant at least once. Prices were like everywhere else. This restaurant said they had a DJ at 930 but didn’t see one. This restaurant needs a good DJ with following and more word of mouth referrals. Also some specials. I wish him well and will come back.“
