“Coming here for years. Some food items have gone down in quality, namely the pork chop and mac and cheese. Pork chop used to be really cooked to perfection and moist, however lately it has been dried out and overcooked. Mac and cheese lost the amount of cheese it usually has on it, and noodles were undercooked the previous two times. Must have changed the cooks in kitchen, who knows.“

“A cute cafe in the heart of Basking Ridge's commercial district. It is simple but charming, and coupled with the town, has a very Gilmore Girls-esque atmosphere. Limited parking right in the front of the cafe. We came on a Wednesday around 11am and it was almost empty, and as we were leaving about an hour later it was nearly full. Good service, good food, great prices. I would definitely come back if I find myself in the area.“

“PEANUT ALLERGY FAMILY!! Let me start off by saying I love love loved the ice cream here from day 1. The staff is wonderful and super attentive, but last night was above and beyond. I went for dessert with my oldest son and wanted to bring some back for my 8 month old to share with me. We just discovered my 8 month old has a peanut allergy and we aren’t sure what other nuts he might be allergic to yet. I told the staff all of this. The gentleman who made my order went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure that ice cream was safe to share with him (of course I know there are no guarantees when you are eating out). I can’t tell you how much that meant to me since allergies like this are new to my family and I. I cannot thank them enough!! They gained a customer for life.“

So special that they were followed by the best Bendang Lamb I have ever tasted. After eating the beef based curry in Indonsia and around the world, the chef's Malasian influence produced this amazing Bendang Lamb. “It was a packed house on a Friday night dinner time. Luckily, it was just my husband and I, so we got a table right away. The place has nice decorations and it is also a clean place. Combo (Fried Calamari and Shrimp) - The calamari and shrimp were cooked perfectly. It wasn't over-battered, and it was lightly seasoned with salt and pepper. Went well with the sauce. Roti Canai - I would say it wasn't that great at all, and I love Roti Canai, but this wasn't it. Malaysian style pancake were not crispy at all. Husband says he felt it was undercooked. The curry itself was very liquidy. The potatoes were good. When you dip the pancake into the curry. It would dip everything down, meaning you don't get that curry on to the pancake. So you have to use the spoon to get the curry and eat it like soup. Gang Kiew Wan with Squid - Green curry was a great pick. The squid is cooked perfectly. It was soft and easy to chew. I love the veggies, and they were delicious. Duck Noodles - It's great and very flavorful. Wish they would add a little bit more of the shredded duck meat. I felt there wasn't much to it. (This dish reminds me of Beef Chow Fun.) Overall, from the beginning to the end, even though it was a packed house, the services were great. They made sure the water on the table didn't go empty. They checked on us to see how everything was. I had to take off the one star because I wish their Roti Canai was better. But I am planning to go back here again to try other dishes.“

“Lots of pizza places to choose from in Long Valley, but this is our go-to. Love their pizza! And staff so friendly. For the 3rd year in a row, they let the middle school play have their cast party there. The kids run around on the grass and pizza and drink soda. Pizza has long been consumed, but they let us stay and celebrate and eat cake long after they have closed. Very supportive of kids and the community. I'm happy to recommend them!“

“First time to a Blaze Pizza and I somewhat liked it. Pizza was good, with lots of topping options to make it your own. We ordered a regular crust and a high thick crust, we liked their regular better, it was thin, crispy and good. What I liked the most was how fast you can order, choose your ingredients and by the time you pay and get your drink, they call you to pick up your pizza. The only thing we didn't like was the boardwalk pizza- zero flavor so that was a little disappointing. We’ve been there many many times, but won’t go anymore because they stand around and want you to leave after you finish dinner. We like yo sit and have wine.
