“We used Fruited Plain for my daughters wedding on 9/19/20. What a great choice for a caterer! The service was outstanding, the food was out of this world and all at a reasonable price. The staff helped setup and clean-up OUR stuff that they weren't for. My next event will be with these guys for sure.“

“My husband and I had our wedding reception at Crystal Plaza on January 20th, 2024. From the moment we stepped foot inside we knew our venue tours were done. The energy that exudes from the cocktail hour area, with dark wood and a fireplace to an outdoor atrium-like room, into the grand ballroom which is bright and timeless- it’s the perfect place to get married and have an unforgettable party. The bridal suite was like nothing I had ever seen before, it was gorgeous, spacious and full of light and the grooms vault was everything my husband could have possibly asked for plus more. The grounds are immaculate, the chandeliers both inside and out are out of this world. I mean, the place is just perfect in every single way. After meeting Max (who we love!!!!) and setting our date, we instantly felt like we had a new family in Crystal Plaza that were going to guide us through the planning process. We were not wrong. From vendor recommendations to simple questions that I probably could have googled, Max and Talmia were outstanding with communication, I wouldn’t have been able to plan my wedding without them. The food is out of this world, it was not regular “wedding food”, our guests raved about cocktail hour, dinner and traveling treats which we did for desserts. The Crytal Plaza team accommodated our every need, want and desire, no stone was left unturned, and the day went on flawlessly. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and we wouldn’t have wanted to have it anywhere else. We want to send major thanks to our Maitre D Team Mikheill, Rovin and Jason who were an absolute pleasure to have beside us that night making sure everything was perfect. Our suite attendants Ariel and Johanz- who were extremely helpful while we were getting ready, brought us anything we needed and were always right there in case we had any questions, our Bridal and Groom attendants, Gerald and Chloe who were with us after our ceremony to ensure we were ready to party and have the best time. I have to say Chloe was exceptional, she was by my side all night and her energy was awesome- she was so helpful, attentive and she was just another bright light during our special day, as well as Gerald who my husband had a wonderful experience with, he was so kind and accommodating and made sure any and everything that they needed was done. Lastly, we want to thank Max, the Janoff family as a whole, Talmia and the entire staff for helping with every step along the way and executing the most magical night of our lives. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!“

“First off I am a DJ. So of course, I would be super critical of a venue that my Daughter and her fiance chose to get married at.Hands down, this place was above and beyond every step of the way. From 7:30am until midnight, there was someone helping you, every step of the way.No exaggeration, every staff member young or old did their job professionally and without attitude. Im 50 years old and have lived long enough to know that it's almost impossible to have everyone on the same page at such a large event. I don't know if all of the stars aligned on this day, but it was absolutely prefect.“

“You will not find a fresher, more delicious, authentic, amazing sandwich anywhere. This place is the real deal. I had the "Fonz" which is chicken cutlet (thin and crispy and perfect) fresh mozz, roasted red pepper, arugula, balsamic. Tough to park but for that sandwich you figure it out.“

“The wedding venue is beautiful. The food was great especially the desert the outside grounds are so beautiful for pictures. It place was really clean and just a great place to have a wedding. Joe'l was amazing!!! Cannot say enough about Joe'l super nice very professional, accommodating !! Cannot say enough about her. My only complaint was the attendance that took care of my daughter..... or should I say was supposed to take care of her. They did help with pictures etc... they asked many times if we needed additional help but I had to go to clean the room can we have more champagne that should be done automatically I should not have had to run up and down stairs to ask to have a room tidied up and also to get more champagne also we had to ask for hot coffee.,. My biggest disappointed was the mai'tred at the wedding not once came up to my husband or I or even the bride or groom once asking us if we needed a drink he introduced himself said he was there to help us after that no show. We waited on long lines just to get a drink. My other daughter's wedding we were waited on hand and foot. Especially the bride and groom should have been treated differently. lastly a little disappointed my baskets for the bathroon were never put out again I had to find the attendance to ask for them that something I should not have to do. When we received the baskets back they were empty there was no way every wedding guest took everything out of the baskets just kinda strange they wold keep everything????? Again the hall is great, amazing ......but the staff running the wedding questionable. If you go ask for Joe'l you will love her!!!! She's the best!!! She actually was getting the parents of the bride a drink she saw me waiting on line so that tells you a lot about her.“

“Got here late but better late than never. 4 donuts left. I bought 3 maple bacon. . Crispy bacon on a maple frosted old fashioned donut was delicious. Sometimes a maple bacon can be greasy but these donuts were not. Perfection. I will definitely come back to try more of their donuts. Parking out front on street. Open until 2PM on weekend. Get here early or pre-0rder. Really nice owner. Please patronize this donut shop.“

“To say that I was impressed is an understatement. We attended a wedding this past Sunday for a daughter of our very dear friends, and everything was top-notch. From the moment we pulled up when the valet took our car, it set the right tone for the evening. We were greeted by several staff members who offered various welcoming drinks and then we were ushered into a giant room for an elaborate cocktail hour. The food was out of this world. There were so many stations: sushi, charcuterie, Asian, Mexican, paella, seafood, meat carving, I can't even remember them all, plus, there was a galore of passed appetizers. There were two bars setup on each end of the room, so you never had to wait long for a drink. The staff members were always on hand to clear your plates, and making sure you did not need anything. Then, a ceremony and the party began in its earnest! The dinner was family-style appetizers and then an entree for each person and for dessert, besides the cake, there was a huge Viennese table and stations. I have never seen such variety and we are really spoiled by amazing banquet menus at the Russian restaurants. This was above and beyond. The service throughout the entire dinner was lovely. Bringing us drinks, keeping an eye on things running smoothly. This was surely an affair to remember, and The Grove has done right by our friends who worked very hard to make this wedding a celebration of love and family.“

Monthly meetings of 30 to 40 members and a yearly symposium for 250 to 300 are all handled by Angelo and his team. Some of our members moved there company affairs to the Hanover Manor.“

“Our experience with Michelle’s Catering was top notch. They helped me plan a party for 65 people. The food was amazing and everyone commented on it! As host I was able to enjoy my guests and didn’t worry about a thing during the entire party. Everything had been planned and arranged in advance and ran very smoothly. “I cannot say enough positive things about the service we received from Giulianos this past weekend. From the drop off of the food for 125 guests to the pick up and everything in between was handled with such professionoalism and positivity. The guests raved about ALL of the food and the desserts were off the charts. There were no left overs, because everyone was thrilled to bring some home for the next day! Michelle was was flexible to work with and always responsive. The suggestions she made to accomodate special requests were perfect. WE will definately be using Giuliano's again in the future!“

“My first time trying A Mother's Touch. Chef Mel has genuinely pleasant energy. She was patient as we made a decision. I wanted the Chicken & Sweet potato waffles which they don't make after a certain time. She made an exception and made my mine fresh. The chicken was well seasoned, crispy and juicy. I loved the texture of the waffle and it wasn't overly sweet. We also had the combo whiting/shrimp with greens and Mac and cheese. The fish and shrimp were well seasoned. The shrimp were a nice size. The mac and cheese was absolutetly cheesy and not dry. We also had a fish sandwich which was served with cajun fries. As a fry snob I had to steal one and I will be back for my own order. Honestly the best soul food experience I have had in Jersey in a while. The service and the food were both ?“

“My wife and I were looking to get our reception party catered. After the first attempt at one deli, we decided to look elsewhere and stumbled upon Summit and Main. We are so glad we did. From the day of ordering to pick up everything went smooth. My wife and mother in law were sat down and went over menu, and all of our questions were answered. They suggested their best sellers and how much of everything to order. Everything was a hit and everyone loved the food. We can not recommend Summit and Main enough. The roast beef sliders are out of this world. If you're looking to cater a party wedding birthday etc, look no further.“

“I had a spinich/mozzarella omelette w/ side of sausage, home fries and toast. It was fantastic; fluffy eggs, not over done at all. 2 large, tasty sausage patties. This meal is like $7 or $8 more at other diners. Exceeded expectations on price, taste, portion and quality. I will absolutely return to try something off the lunch menu soon.“

“I hosted my sister’s Harry Potter themed baby shower at the Loft. The venue was absolutely incredible and fit the theme perfectly with all the exposed brick. The venue is extremely spacious and can be tailored to any event. Te'Niijah was wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to assist our guests with parking, when a last minute festival was being held in town. 10/10 recommend The Loft!“

“Freud de Sel is an amazingly dangerous bakery to my waistline and wallet. When I go in, I can’t resist the call of those tantalizing pastries and desserts. Everything that I’ve tried has been wonderful. Their baguette is perfection. All the desserts are works of art. Love that we have such an authentic French bakery in Chatham. Glad it is a bit of a drive from my house to keep me out of trouble. lol.“

“I had a meeting earlier in the day and didn't have lunch, so I was looking for something good to eat when I saw Fandango Mexican Grill. I was amazed at the beautiful decor of Mexican art. I was promptly greeted by a very friendly welcoming waitress. Everything on the menu looked great and I had a hard time selecting something, so I asked my waitress to recommend something. She recommended the Carne Asada Burrito. I ordered that and was not disappointed. The burrito was enormous, full of well seasoned steak, cheese and rice. It was so good. They offer takeout of one individual meal or full dinners for the family that will look and taste like you cooked it yourself. Not a lot of room to eat in just 1-2 tables if you are lucky enough to have one. You can always take it home to enjoy the great food, quiches, salads , and sandwiches. They also do big party catering.“

“Had this delivered to work at my coworker's suggestion. It arrived on schedule and our three orders were packed neatly. There are tons of vegan/vegetarian options on this menu! I had the vegan Nashville hot chicken, add red onion and drizzled onion, on a whole wheat wrap. It was satisfying but not too heavy. The sauce has a nice spice to it. My friends also loved their buffalo poppers, falafel salad, and zucchini sticks.“

“Excellent local Italian that is a true delight. Everything ordered to date has been exceptional from regular menu items to specials. Chicken and Veal dishes are amazing. The Mozzarella Carrozza appetizer is uniquely served with piccata sauce that is fantastic. The meatballs are top notch as is their sauce. Service is professional and attentive. They care that each diner is pleased. Note: it's basically cash only (venmo ok) but it's worth it.“
