“Was very surprised walking in the door because it looks like a small standard deli from the outside. Inside is much larger than it appears, and they have a little bit of everything! Everything in the bakery counters looked so professional, and all the hot food trays looked delicious. I was picking up an order so didn't get to try everything yet, but their caprese heroes were excellent - such soft, fresh hero bread, mozz, basil and tomato with a side of balsamic vin. Their Italian combos are also amazing. The friendliness of the staff was also impressive, as I was addressed by every person when walking in and down to the counter. Super friendly and fast service. “The food is delicious! However, the setup can be a little confusing to people who have never been there before. You basically enter and walk to the left where they have plastic gloves for you to grab what you want. When you walk a little further where the bread is, you will see paper bags on your left for you to place your items in. I love how you can grab freshly made bagels off of the conveyer belt. They are the best! The only thing I would add if I were them, are signs on their desserts. They all look so delicious, but it can get a little confusing and frustrating for the customer and worker when you keep asking what things are and it definitely holds up the line. Other than that, I love this place and it is very reasonably priced.“

“I like the selection of ready meals. It makes it very convenient to have dinner ready quick without too much effort. The prices for the prepared/hot food is reasonable. They are also very delicious. The regular grocery items are a little pricey compared to places like Costco, BJ’s and Walmart. I don’t like that they make you go all the way around the different isles, probably to make you buy things you were looking to buy. That makes me waste time when I’m in a hurry. They have a big parking lot with plenty of empty spaces every time. They also have a nice selection of flowers at good prices when compared to a regular flower shop, but more expensive than Trader Joe’s.“
“Came to Sander's to get some kosher baked goods for my coworkers. I really wanted to get some donuts, but it was too early in the morning, and they were still baking them. Ended up getting some rugelach that were fresh from the oven. The rugelach were a hit in the office. The staff really liked them. My coworker who was kosher really liked them too. A bunch of people just kept eating them throughout the day. The rugelach were delicious. The chocolate was good. The pastry wasn't too sweet. The vanilla ones were great too, but I really liked the chocolate ones the best. They have a dress code that they post in front of the store before you go in. Make sure you wear closed toe shoes, cover your knees, and shoulders. It shouldn't be a problem in the winter though. If you want some good baked goods, Sander's is a great option. If you're like me and wanting to pick up some kosher pastries, I would check which certification your friend/coworker accept as there are many they may or may not eat.“

“I am a Gluten Free individual that suffers from FOMO. While everyone sits around and enjoys their desserts, I just sit back and watch with a frown on my face. I stumbled upon this place while my daughter was at a nearby piercing establishment. I went in and was greeted by a lovely lady behind the counter. While I was looking at what options were available for me, that lovely lady offered me to sample an item. Never before have I ever been offered a sample of anything Gluten Free. And we all no why that happens. Most of the time the Gluten Free products are horrible; dense, stale, no taste, etc. The item she offered was not good.................it was the best tasting bakery item I have ever had. When I told her that, she offered another item, and another item, and another item. I no longer needed to eat dinner. I was in heaven. I ending up buying three items to take home with me. I shared them with my family members and they agreed that the items was delicious. I will no be a customer for life.......................even so living 50 miles from this bakery.“

Atmosphere was beautiful too, with tall windows perfect for sunlight and easy piano music.My friends had mixed reviews on their drinks, but I personally liked mine (Dirty Chai). I got a small, but it was such a considerable size, like some places might charge you for a large for the same oz. Additionally, a good price, I attached a picture of the cup, which was filled to the brim, and for $4.95 nowadays it’s a bargain.My main issue was the Shakshuka. Again, delicious food. However, the pricing was a bit strange. I ordered a Veggie Lover Shakshuka, which is $10.95. I also wanted Feta, so I wanted that extra. Notice that the Shakshuka is $10.25, and the Shakshuka with feta $10.75. You would assume feta must be 50 cents, right? And that for feta in addition to a Veggie Lover Shakshuka is 50 cents plus $10.95. Look at my receipt. The extra cheese was $2.00. This just seems weird and inconsistent, and when I discussed it with a worker, the worker says that the system automatically charges $2.00 for extras and that they couldn’t set individual prices.Additionally, it seems they forgot the mushrooms and spinach for my Veggie Lover Shakshuka, which comes with peppers, spinach, and mushrooms. However, the workers remedied this when I brought this to their attention, providing extra bread as well.Overall, lovely place with good food, but weird pricing systems that are a bit shady in my opinion. I’d recommend this place, but don’t buy extras since they’ll charge $2.00 for a sprinkle of feta.“

I tried Marie’s on a whim after searching for a Dominican bakery in Paterson on google and I am BLOWN AWAY. Just look at how much filling in that slice!! The cake is light and delicious. The frosting , too. And the filling is FRESH pasta de guayaba. my husband is Dominican and his birthday cake was 10/10!! This is my new spot for Dominican cake.“
“We come here often for authentic Italian pastries, gelato and granita. Everything is fresh and delicious. We took a class recently and made delicious ravioli, arancini and pistachio cookies. The class with Chef Andrea (owner) was so much fun and I highly recommend it for a fun night out with friends or family or even a date night. There are a maximum of ten students (so not crowded at all) and you get to sample what you have made and take enough home for a meal the next day. Chef Andrea explains the ingredients and technique and then you proceed to prepare the items under his supervision. He explains how to source the items you will need to make items at home and gives you printed easy to follow instructions to take home. He is funny, patient and great to work with. We can't wait to take another class with him!!“
