I got a small, but it was such a considerable size, like some places might charge you for a large for the same oz. Additionally, a good price, I attached a picture of the cup, which was filled to the brim, and for $4.95 nowadays it’s a bargain.My main issue was the Shakshuka. Again, delicious food. However, the pricing was a bit strange. I ordered a Veggie Lover Shakshuka, which is $10.95. I also wanted Feta, so I wanted that extra. Notice that the Shakshuka is $10.25, and the Shakshuka with feta $10.75. You would assume feta must be 50 cents, right? And that for feta in addition to a Veggie Lover Shakshuka is 50 cents plus $10.95. Look at my receipt. The extra cheese was $2.00. This just seems weird and inconsistent, and when I discussed it with a worker, the worker says that the system automatically charges $2.00 for extras and that they couldn’t set individual prices.Additionally, it seems they forgot the mushrooms and spinach for my Veggie Lover Shakshuka, which comes with peppers, spinach, and mushrooms. However, the workers remedied this when I brought this to their attention, providing extra bread as well.Overall, lovely place with good food, but weird pricing systems that are a bit shady in my opinion. I’d recommend this place, but don’t buy extras since they’ll charge $2.00 for a sprinkle of feta.“

“The food is delicious! However, the setup can be a little confusing to people who have never been there before. You basically enter and walk to the left where they have plastic gloves for you to grab what you want. When you walk a little further where the bread is, you will see paper bags on your left for you to place your items in. I love how you can grab freshly made bagels off of the conveyer belt. They are the best! The only thing I would add if I were them, are signs on their desserts. They all look so delicious, but it can get a little confusing and frustrating for the customer and worker when you keep asking what things are and it definitely holds up the line. “I was back in my hometown for a short trip and wanted to work remote from a cafe. I did a quick Yelp search and stumbled across Marimba Cafe - the new name caught my eye and the aesthetics and offerings here solidified my decision. I don't think I've ever come across a sit down Latin cafe here in Bergen County so to me, since moving away, it's the first of its kind. Also first of its kind to proudly offer CBD infused menu items. I believe they just opened in November! The vibes in here are immaculate. My favorite feature is the stone floor - it just transports you somewhere new! The color scheme in here is also appealing, and the Latin music made me want to dance while I took on meetings haha. Overall, really solid branding and concept. Since I was working west coast hours, I spent the whole afternoon into close here. It's a really great place to work as there were other people working remote. They have comfortable seating and outlets conveniently located along the booth. I will say though that the booth seating was just a tad too high for the table so it took some time getting used to. Also, they do play the music fairly loud (a must) in here so it can be a tad distracting if you're taking meetings and have to speak. Since I stayed here for over 5 hours, I was able to observe the sense of community Marimba has fostered - they greet customers like friends! I also saw on their Instagram that they host community events like paint nights and dance nights and support other local businesses with their La Placita Sundays. I love everything this business is about. I ordered the coquito latte hot and a pan de bono. The latte was solid and I wish the pan de bono was just a bit bigger! I would love to try more here. Congrats to the owners of Marimba, I wish the cafe tons of business and success! I definitely want to visit again when I'm back in town.“

The regular grocery items are a little pricey compared to places like Costco, BJ’s and Walmart. I don’t like that they make you go all the way around the different isles, probably to make you buy things you were looking to buy. That makes me waste time when I’m in a hurry. They have a big parking lot with plenty of empty spaces every time. They also have a nice selection of flowers at good prices when compared to a regular flower shop, but more expensive than Trader Joe’s.“

“We come here often for authentic Italian pastries, gelato and granita. Everything is fresh and delicious. We took a class recently and made delicious ravioli, arancini and pistachio cookies. The class with Chef Andrea (owner) was so much fun and I highly recommend it for a fun night out with friends or family or even a date night. There are a maximum of ten students (so not crowded at all) and you get to sample what you have made and take enough home for a meal the next day. Chef Andrea explains the ingredients and technique and then you proceed to prepare the items under his supervision. He explains how to source the items you will need to make items at home and gives you printed easy to follow instructions to take home. He is funny, patient and great to work with. We can't wait to take another class with him!!“

“***4 1/2 stars**I'm not sure how crazy I am about this place being a few blocks from where I live, but I suppose that's not Mo & Jay's fault. I've been aware of this bakery/pastry establishment for a few years (I think it showed up in this relatively new apartment building on Main Street two or three years ago), but hadn't actually thought to go inside until yesterday morning. I was entrusted with obtaining a dessert for a weekend BBQ, and it occurred to me that this was at least the easiest spot to quickly grab something. The fact that the desserts were extremely good ended up being a pleasant accident/bonus.I brought one of my top tier chums to assist with the purchase. From very brief research, it seemed like the eclairs were the big selling point here. I thought it would also be a little wily on my part to get them because I tend to not enjoy eating food that has stuff in it, and figured I'd be unlikely to do anything too naughty with that. That turned out not to be accurate, but I digress. We got the five for $25 éclair deal, and procured a raspberry, a lemon meringue, a nutella, a pistachio and a cookies & cream. Just as we were about to wrap up, I also impulsively grabbed a cheddar/bacon scone, which was humongous and understandably caught my eye.The eclairs were definitely a hit. My personal favorite was the cookies & cream. The flavor was incredibly on point, and it was almost like a meta ice cream experience. The only issue with that one specifically was that the cream inside was runnier than the other pastries, which made it a little messy. Not a huge deal. The runner-up was probably the raspberry for me. Again, extremely flavorful, almost to a fault - it was overwhelmingly tart, which is obviously kind of a calling card for raspberries but if you're not into that, I'd stay away. The nutella was actually a little on the bland side for me but not bad. The lemon meringue was a big hit for everyone else, but I'm not a huge fan of that flavor to begin with - I don't think that's a mark against this place by any means. In hindsight, we probably wouldn't have gotten the pistachio, but none of us are hardcore pistachio fans. The cream consistency and dough for all of these was very high quality, and understandably a lot of this is going to come down to how you feel about specific flavors.In a final twist later on, I sampled the scone around dinner time and was very pleasantly surprised - the scone was very moist and tasty, and was reminiscent of a Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit, though probably at least twice the size and with actual pieces of bacon in it. Very strong recommend on that front.The service was very good. We had a pleasant female cashier assisting us as my chum was literally squatting on the ground eagerly peering into the display case squealing out flavors to get. Zero issues there, and we were in and out within a few minutes uneventfully. There were also a lot of cakes and other types of pastries, so I expect I'll be returning shortly to obtain their assistance with another BBQ.“
“This place is the best. Good quality coffee and nice baristas. Lots of parking... Only complaint: they take so long. If you're in a rush, don't come here. If you get stuck behind even 3-4 people in line - you will be waiting for your coffee for a while. it would also be one thing if the Barista's's were working extremely quickly, but they take their sweet time and are basically in slow motion / don't really seem to care at all that there's a line out the door of people waiting. “So I saw this place on Groupon and thought "why not I like Rugelach". bought it and used right away. I went in at a weird time ( about 4pm on a Saturday night) and there weren't very many rugelach left. The owner gave me a free sample and I instantly knew why. They are amazing! They were fresh (warm) and tasted great. I sampled the apricot and then bought the raspberry and chocolate. The Apricot was the best tasting of all of them; the raspberry was the best I have ever had; and the chocolate was also great! I also bought some chocolate chip cookies. They were also very good, but the best hands down were the rugelach. It was a tiny bit hard to find at first. It is in this strip mall next to Dunkin Donuts, on route 46. I will definitely be back and this place will likely become my go to place for holidays at my in-laws.“
