“It was a nice place to have a meal. Kind of mid-lit trendy place. It was comfortable and our waitress was really friendly. Come to think of it, the hostess was really nice too. That set a good tone for the evening and we all loved our food. The Waygu burger in particular was amazing and cooked to perfection. The prices are a little high in general, but I would say they are about normal for Ridgewood. They have good cocktails for $18 each and they also have some nice local beers. There is a small side room that it looks like you could rent out, and it looks like it holds like 15 people or so.“

“First, I have to say that this place is amazing!! We love it and the staff/service are great too. We have been going for a long time to buy from the bakery section but to actually sit and eat there, it’s been three times. Food is great, prices are great, and on Fridays and Saturdays they have live entertainment. They only negative is that the third time we went there it was packed and no tables were available. We were told we would receive a text so we sat outside in the car. We then noticed that a group of 3 were seated as soon as they walked in and a couple walked in and were taken to a table right away when we questioned the hostess she said nothing and smiled so I asked again why didn’t we receive a text and why were those people seated before us and she said the table took a few minutes to be ready which still didn’t make sense. We sat outside waiting for almost 15 minutes and others were seated right away. Mistakes happen and so we gave her the benefit of the doubt. We also tried to pay with a $50 Visa gift card and the cashier did not know how to do it so we had to pay with our debit. She claims it was declined but it has $50 and we called from there to prove it. Overall I still gave the restaurant as a whole a 5 because this is the first time today, 1/20/2024, that we had a semi negative experience. I definitely recommend this place.“

In addition, we had an 8:30 reservation, yet never felt rushed. Thanks again to Sam.Cocktails we had were the Smooth operator, steel magnolia, and the southwest cider. All 3 were amazing. “Nice place. All food is good. Quick service. Really small place, only has about 8 tables. Had 2 strawberry margaritas. 1st one in a highball glass with a very dry lime wedge, decent. The 2nd one was in a short glass with another dry lime wedge that tasted different and not as good as the 1st one. Bad lime season so not the bars fault.Parking: Very small parking lot. Few spots in the street. After hours you can park in the post office parking lot across the street.Wheelchair accessibility: None in the front of building. I don't know about the back.“

“This place is a bit confusing because it's advertised online as an Indian restaurant and a diner but it's not either of those things. The inside atmosphere and the menu options are that of a restaurant, not a diner, and none of it is Indian. The food is excellent - many good salad and burger options, and great dinner entrees. Everything I've ever ordered from here has been good, is ready super fast, has always been correct, and packed well with condiments, etc for a to-go order. The hardest part of ordering/visiting here is there is never any parking. The parking lot next to the entrance is owned by another company and blocked off prohibiting access. Any time I have to pick up an order to go, I have to park down at the post office (about two blocks away), but the food has been consistently good so I will continue to order from here as long as I'm not in a rush.“

“Still one of my favorite restaurants, I hope it stays that way. Was there the other day, and my porcini rubbed steak was not quite as good as I remember. Cocktails are now basically $20 (same size though!). And I had to put down a credit card deposit for $25 per person to dine in a nearly empty restaurant, with a THREE DAY ADVANCE notice period, within which you're told you'll be charged regardless of reason for cancellation, which is extreme. Rigatoni Bolognese was great and service remains excellent. Portions all a good size. Will be back, but maybe on a weekday when we don't have to worry about the cancellation policy.“

“Dietary restrictions: I still like the beef but it was actually bison meat. I am on the whole 30 diet. It’s very strict and only allows quality meats, veggies and fruit and that’s it. I was reluctant to get any sort of “fast food”. But I did not find fast food at Bareburger. It’s obviously the highest quality meats and ingredients. I had a double bison burger filled with caramelized onions and avocado and wrapped in collard green wrap. The food was of very high-quality and it was delicious. The bison was lean but not dried out like a hockey puck it was moist and tasty. Overall it was a great choice than a great experience. Even though it was a pick up both the server and bartender that helped me were very helpful and pleasant. As my massage therapist is in town I will be back!“
