“March 2024. We've been coming here for years. Really enjoy the authentic tacos. The fixings bar to add sauce, cilantro, onions, cactus, and so much more, allows you to customize the tacos to your taste. Personally I love Al Pastor and Placeros tacos. Service is friendly. They have staff that speak English, which helps us who speak little Spanish. But either way, their menu is written in English and Spanish.Parking is the only hardship. Have to drive around and find a spot.Parking: Drive around until you find parking, esp. on weekends.“

“This place has charm and the very welcoming lady and gentleman that might be the owners made it even better. The food was tasty and the prices were fair for the amount of food you get. Would totally come back. And their ají de árbol is delicious. Always a joy to try and support the local restaurants. Totally recommend.“

“Best Authentic Honduran mostly and Mexican food around the area, the baleadas and pollos con tajadas ufff another level of greatness, the staff super friendly and the price is super affordable for being a foreign food type of restaurant… price ranges in between $10-$20 a plate max. Well recommended ??“

“I've been there so many times now because it maintains to be my favorite Mexican food place in NJ at this point. Now they don't have margaritas or anything but their agua de frescas are really good I get the small for $4 that's in the pic they barely put any ice like I promise it's a big glass you can also get the large for $8 that's like basically a big pint glass size that was huge the one time I got it lol. The strawberry Fresca is my go to I've tried most of them and they're all very fresh and tasty tho. The tacos de BIRRIA is my favorite dish I get it pretty much everytime it's the best Birria I've had personally, and I get birria at every new mexican place to decide how good it is lol. weve tried other taco dishes as well and theyre always phenominal. the birria you see there is $13 which is reasonable truly for the amount I get plus plenty of consumé that my boyfriend usually steals some to add to his tacos at the end because it's so good. Their tres leches they make themselves and pack in the fridge is also my favorite now. I'll keep going back for sure and I recommend anyone to try them“

“Walk off the streets of Chester and be transported south of the border! This quaint but vibrant "joint" provided rich and quality dishes of hearty proportions. Between the intensely intimate dining floor, the authentic music & decor, and the friendly service, Aztec Mexican in Chester, NJ, is an excellent lunch/dinner option for those who enjoy a flavor of South America and "hole-in-the-wall" styled dining. noteables: - reasonable pricing - BYOB“

“I was super impressed by the steak fajitas. The steak that was prepared was excellent quality, cooked perfectly medium-rare as requested. I feel like usually lower-quality steak is used for fajitas at your typical LatAm restaurant, so I was pleasantly surprised when I received a high-quality steak that could’ve been it’s own entree as the meat for my fajita. The cocktails were also fantastic! We had a paloma, a batanga, and a mojito. And the service was perfect as well.“

“I had the Chimichanga. It was excellent. The oil used to fry it was definitely fresh. Fried to perfection, golden color, and crispy. The owner was very nice. My only complaint would be that it would be nice if there was a small scoop of rice and beans in the container. I thought there was or I would have ordered a small side. I won't assume next time.“

“My recent event at Tequila 55 in Dover, New Jersey was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was inviting and the staff were incredibly attentive. The team serving us went above and beyond to ensure our experience was seamless, making our gathering with colleagues and clients truly memorable. The food was exceptional, boasting a delightful array of flavors that left everyone raving. But what truly stole the show were the beverages, especially the tequila selection. Each sip was a journey through quality and craftsmanship, elevating the evening to new heights.Tequila 55 is undeniably a gem in Dover, providing not just great food and drinks, but also a welcoming atmosphere perfect for any occasion. If you're looking for a place to impress both colleagues and clients alike, look no further. This is the place to be.“

“As soon as my partner and I arrived we were acknowledged and seated. Our waitress was kind and prompt. We clearly polished off the complementary chips and dip, which were so good. The food is absolutely delicious. My partner ordered Tostadas and I ordered Flatos. This is not just a diner, they have amazing food. We just stopped in after coming back from the city and boy are we sure glad we did. We both finished our plates. 10/10 would eat here again.“
“This local tavern seems to have transformed itself during the pandemic! The food is amazing! I was surprised at the prices however. We intended to stop in for a few beers and burgers, it was not a special night out but it wound up costing as much as if it were. The noise levels tend to get pretty high in the bar, so you may prefer to sit in the back dining area. Go and support locally owned establishments!“

“Fantastic place to eat Central American food! It’s my favorite in Dover! The staff is always very friendly and the place is clean and it reflects on their food! Nolvia and JP are always very helpful and attentive and several times Nolvia has gotten out of her way to bring me food to my house when I have been sick even if it’s 15 min away from Dover!Try the cena hondureña, pollo con tajadas and baleada and of course their chicken soup! I love it!!!!!!!!!“

“We ended up getting takeout tacos from here to bring across the street to Buttzville Brewery. It was pretty quick from when we ordered to when our food was ready to pick up our order. We got an order of steak street tacos, an order of chicken street tacos and guacamole. The tacos are quite small, but it was nice to get a couple different options to share to try multiple flavors. The tacos came with a green and a red sauce - both packed with flavor but the red one was SPICY in the best way and kept getting spicier after you swallowed. The guacamole was fantastic with lots of chunks of onion, cilantro and tomato. Truly a perfect sharable snack to bring to a brewery and share with a small group.“

“Had dinner here today and had a great meal with the family. I have ordered delivery multiple times from here before and food was always fresh, but never opted for a review since it was delivery. Also not many Mexican restaurants offer free chips and salsa anymore but they do here so that was nice to see. Some local businesses nowadays definitely overcharge or have high credit card fees and this is one of them that's the only reason for the 4 stars. They have a 4% surcharge so bringing cash is recommended.“
“Great food and drinks with exceptional service. This is an authentic Mexican restaurant that serves real Mexican food rather than bland Tex-Mex. I love this place and have never had a bad dish. Friendly, family run, spotless, and a gem in Lake Hopatcong.“

“I came here with a party of 6 and 2 little pups after a hike in HackleBarney Trails - they were very friendly and accommodating. We sat in their outdoor seating area and it was very cute and cozy. The food was also really good. We had Quesadillas, Carne Asada, Bistec Encebollado, and Fajitas. We all cleaned our plates! Everything was delicious and our waitress kept checking in to make sure everything was going well. Def would come here again if I'm in the area!“

“this was my first time at lola’s. i got the birria tacos with rice. the tacos are really yummy, and the rice is too. only thing — it is NOT cheap. i spent $23 on birria tacos and a jarritos. was it delicious? yes. affordable? not so much, esp for a food court food place.“

“On site restaurant gets points for being convenient, but food was only ok. Only 1 pool was open and was up 5 flights of stairs. By September both pools were supposed to be functioning. Perhaps there was unavoidable problems? Idk. Regardless, the one pool was definitely not our scene at night. Everyone was drunk and I personally found the behavior overtly sexual. Not family friendly after dark. Ya'll got rooms...keep it there!Need to utilize golf cart service for room to lobby/restaurant/pool service. However the service was more sparse, and we gave up and walked few times. Everything is uphill.I enjoyed the variety of animals on the premises...cats, roosters, iguanas. Not usual U.S. hotel space but it was the vibe of the island. There was supposed to be beach access at the resort...no such luck. However Coki beach is a 5 minute drive from the resort. Beautiful beach. GREAT snorkel area. Again...family warning, marijuana sold and smoked by visitors and staff alike on this beach. Free beach access with small fee for parking. Magens Bay cost a bit more to go to but is definitely family Friendly. Avoid these beaches on cruise ship port days. We did go to the aquarium but thought it was not worth the money we spent. Perhaps if you do a special activity, ie scuba it may be worth it.SNORKEL ST JOHN...5 stars. Day excursion incl breakfast lunch, open bar and Equipment. 3 stops and leaves/returns MargaritavilleGROCERYS: cheapest store is Cost U Less. Carries all from bread to beer. It has a bulk store vibe, but no membership required. MOES MARKET was recommended. Has items you may want but it is very pricey ($10 a lb of bacon and same for 1 pkg Oreos).“
