“My wife's German grandma loves this place, and often treats us to the family style special. The food is good (certainly the best BBQ you can get in NYC) and the service is always excellent. It does tend to get busy and loud, sometimes louder than is comfortable, but it's always a good time. We went once for lunch, and since it wasn't as busy, that was the best experience we had there. Prices are pretty good, especially for Manhattan. Always have a great time here and love to get good BBQ even this far north!Kid-friendliness: A bit loud for kids, but they put out a coloring page with crayons. The ordering process was disorganized and there was no one to welcome or guide incoming customers.Despite Meet Moot's potential for an excellent dining experience, it was marred by inconsistent service. Step into this place and it’s as you’re transported to a restaurant at a fancy Seoul neighborhood. Dinner for 3 cost us $150 which was great value given the quality, atmosphere and service provided. For example, one of our dish was grilled clams and we were blown away by their size. They were gigantic, abundant and FRESH! The patrons were all locals and some families. Will definitely return.Parking: The restaurant has a free parking lot. There's also paid/unpaid (depending on the day/time) street parking, right in front of the restaurant.“

The meat is thick and soft, has a good chew and is full of juice. Not a single flaw. It's not a soju restaurant, it's a rib restaurant. Lastly, I enjoyed the clam sauna and ate kalguksu (noodle soup) in cool clam soup. It's been 7-8 years since I stopped eating kalguksu, cold noodles, and japchae to cut out carbohydrates, but this soup isn't one I can tolerate because it's low in carbohydrates. Caters to mostly Korean crowd which means they serve good fresh sashimi and sushi. Their side dishes were tasty and plentiful. I didn't order any BBQ dishes but will indulge on my return visit. This place gets crowded during meal time and does have few private rooms. Interestingly, this place is attached to a karaoke bar. We especially love their German bean soup that they had during Oktoberfest. Chef, please have it more often! Sliced filet mignon with onions and mushrooms is my favorite entree.
