We had too much food so had some to go and had a late night snack! Chicken wings weren't soggy, Mac and cheese were great! I'd say the chicken strip, chicken wings, and Kim chee fried rice were a good choice. Kids (4,7,9) loved the wings and Mac&cheese.Once we got back to our hotel(NJ), the wings were still good !!! BTW the wings aren't small, great size!!So that's why I say if you show up and it's full, take it home! Servers were great and cooks were great. Bussers worked their buttons off!!! I'd sat 5 star dine in or to go!“

“My 1st time having Korean fried chicken. Been wanting to have it for a long time. Came across this gem and I'm a fan.Chicken is fried fresh to order so please be patient. I ordered the 5pc Golden original just so I can taste the overall flavor. Nicely fried to a crispy and juicy texture. The guy at the register Kim bought me over a side of their Secret Sauce to try it. Not too sweet or spicy but it's sticky. The 1st time having pickled daikon also. Very refreshing and a palate cleanser. Love it“

“The chicken is hit or miss, which for a rotisserie takeout place is not really acceptable. The sides are always really good, but the real gem here is the gyro and seasoned fries. The service is awful though. Guy at the counter had no greeting, just played on his phone. Didn't use gloves when he handled my food (people use their phones while on the toilette so would been nice to use gloves or wash hands). He didn't say thank you, just handed it to me in cold silence. My advice would be to hire someone who can at least pretend that they want to be there and act like they appreciate your business. “Due to circumstances, I can't go and eat there, so I've had Uber delivery for 3 days in a row now (trying various things). The quality of the food is incomparable to other restaurants. It's on a different level. Each and every sauce is made with care. They package it well. I had a question about the menu, so I called. When I did that, the female waiter (not Korean) was really kind! She explained it to me while shouting a little and said that she was sorry for yelling at the end because the store was too noisy. Even though she was busy, the waiter explained things so well! “We moved from Fort Lee to Carlstadt area a year ago and struggled to find good Korean Fried Chicken nearby. Tried this today and it’s delicious! Family owned and very authentic to me. Food is delicious, we always get the Onion Chicken, which is perfect to share with 2-3 people and supplement with something else like bu dae jigae. We went with a group of 4 and had to wait about 15 minutes around 6:30pm to get a table, but it went by quick. Staff was friendly and place is clean and fun decor. Like everywhere in Palisades park, street paid parking is limited but there is free parking in the neighborhood streets if you want to walk further. One of my favorite places to eat at in Palisades Park, can't wait to come back!“

“This is my go to (and my son’s) all the time. My absolute favorite are the shrimp buns. My son gets the shrimp buns and the beef bulgogi is his main course. I sometime splurge and get the 3+2 garlic and soy sauce flavored wings and drumsticks. What I love is both freshness, taste and consistency. It’s a husband and wife small business so also love being able to help our local economy. It sure helps they’re so pleasant. “I have been buying chicken pound and always spend over $100 on my orders but they do not care about its customers the last several orders has had damaged leaking packages or delays on delivery because they ship it UPS ground which can take 3-5 working days. The last order took 7 days before it was delivered and several packages were defrosted, warm, and possibly spoiled.I placed an order on 01/09/2024 in the morning and did not ship until the night of 01/16/2024 and is not expected to be delivered until 01/22/2024 and chicken pound is trying to fix the problems and issues with shipping. So we will see. I changed my prior review because I do enjoy the flavors ( cilantro-lime, BBQ, teriyaki, jerk, and balsamic) and the convenience of chicken pound.“
