“I ordered catering for my birthday event last weekend and the food was amazing! I’ve been a true fan of this restaurant ever since I’ve moved up to Bloomfield a few years ago and I always bring my friends and family to this restaurant. Whether it’s Brunch or dinner, the food never disappoints! Hence why I thought it was a good idea to ask for them to cater for my bday! Anthony and his team were very accommodating and brought out the rest of trays as the previous ones started emptying out which I greatly appreciated due to the lack of space we were given at the venue. We ordered the chicken empanadas, beef empanadas, broccoli rabe, mixed greens salad, Mac and cheese, chicken parm, eggplant parm, pasta vodka, meatballs and potato croquettes. All dishes were excellent and everyone was excited to pack the leftovers home as well! I also ordered catering from here back in February for my galentines party and the food was also a success during that time. I know I can count on them for providing exemplary food as well as service. Thank you, Anthony and his team for making my birthday memorable!“
“Great meal and overall time here! Our server was super nice and friendly/helpful he really guided us through the menu and gave some great suggestions. The restaurant itself is super nice and cozy while being spacious, but oh man the food is unreal. We had the meatballs (so big and flavorful and smothered in sauce), the mushroom pizza which was loaded with mushrooms, super flavorful and unique. Also got the vodka pizza which was really great, we got extra vodka sauce on the side so we could really drown it and loved it. My friend got the gluten free and she said it's the first gluten free bread she's had that actually tastes like real bread and loved it.“

“Really impressed! We asked Stuff by SJ to make a custom cake for a pizza-themed birthday party. Working with them (Drew) was super easy and stress free. They were helpful, responsive, well priced and even delivered our cake to the restaurant ahead of the party. Everyone complimented the design and taste of the cake so it was a big hit. I’d definitely go back to them for our next cake.“

“The first time I stepped into the cafe was about a year ago. My daughter invited me. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect from vegan desserts. But somehow that evening, we devoured six pastries.?Let me tell you, they were delicious! And for a year now, I've been coming to this place to buy desserts for myself and my family.I don't know how to explain it, but I just don't crave traditional baking anymore.?I want to mention the atmosphere of the cafe separately. The beautiful interior and pleasant music always create a nice ambiance, but here it's especially cozy because every customer is greeted like a dear guest.“
“I am glad I saw their delivery van when I was driving by. I did a Uturn and hoped I stumbled on a yummy bakery. This place is gem. Small space for dining in so I decided to order a cappuccino and almond croissant to go and drive to a nearby park. I also got a container of their poppyseed hamantaschen cookies. Everything was top notch and delicious. Service was quick and friendly. First authentic croissant I have had in recent memory. I really appreciate that the baked goods were flavorful and not sugary. “I really really really like this place. I ordered penne (a form of pasta) with butter alongside my family, and I love this place very much. The penne is beyond the term exquisite and the butter with it was amazing. I can only say the downside is the physical appearance and even then I like it. It's a little cramped and it's relatively hard to navigate when with a group even though the place is small, but I genuinely love this place very much. Overall on a scale of 1-10, I'm giving this a 9.7 due to the small inconvenience of small size it that's what happens when your located in a strip-mall. Thank you for your service and food!!“
“My wife and I walked into LK for the first time and the hostess greeted us and said "sit anywhere you'd like".....what restaurant ever says that, we were hooked right away. We both shared a caesar salad, it was delicious. My wife ordered pasta with sausage. That too was delicious, I had the pasta with cherry tomatoes and crab meat, absolutely delicious. When our order came, we immediately got fresh pepper and before I could even ask for fresh cheese, a gentleman was waiting behind me with the cheese. I mean, c'mon the place has a great food, great service and a nice chill atmosphere. I think we just found our go-to restaurant.“
“Cannot recommend this place enough! I have been a vegan for over 8 years and live for baked goods. When I went I ordered the sausage egg and cheese biscuit, the flavors were great it was hot and the cheese was perfectly melty with a to die for biscuit. As my sweet I ordered the cannoli and on the first bite I wanted to cry. The shell was perfectly flaky and crisp, with a creamy, fluffy, and a bit tangy (in the best way possible) filling. The workers despite it being very busy inside were so kind and sweet! My only complaint is to my self and that I don't live closer!! The next time I'm in the area I will definitely be stopping in.“

I love Italian food but OMG what Silvio, the owner, did with special salad, its addiction! My husband doesn’t eat salads but he was soo impressed , he told me at the end, we need to come more often just to have salad in particular. I ordered Spagetti Carbonara, the best one I’ve ever had in my life! My husband LOVED desert and espresso with ice cream, I finished with cappuccino which btw was absolutely incredible! Everything should get 10,000 stars not 5! Service, food, atmosphere are 10/10! As the hack, you should try it on the weekdays when it’s more quiet and you can get some specials from the owner!“
“The service here is truly 5 stars, worth it to return for that attention and comfort. They have the routine down and give you the attention you want and feel special on for a night out. Definitely recommend reservations as it got major crowded in the tables and around the bar. Their cocktail list is impressive and was not disappointing in execution. We had the stuffed mushrooms to start and it was juicy though underseasoned. Their steaks were exactly what you want and I recommend the au poivre sauce as a tangy condiment. That was memorable for sure. The place overall just seems dark and outdated in furnishings, especially in the bathrooms. Their food hits the mark and service makes it worth returning.“

“This is one of my mom's favorite places for coffee. Everything I've tried at Liv Breads is delicious. All the croissants are amazing, but the nutella croissant is ridiculously good. The sandwiches are all fresh, healthy, and satisfying. The coffee is excellent. I love the samples you can try as you wait in line. Had to purchase the cardamon bun after tasting the sample. It is a unique pastry I haven't seen elsewhere, and it is the perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and crunchy. Going back soon to try the baguette which looks delicious.“

“This is such a cute bakery! They have a perfect array of cookies, cupcakes, scones, and other goodies! I've tried the scones, royal frosted cookies, and now the lemon loaf (GF) and have loved them all. It does tend to be busy but the staff is friendly and moves you on through. There is limited outdoor seating nearby so plan to bring your goodies outside or to the car. Prices are not listed for pastries and it isn't cheap - but I say worth it!“
“Tried this place after searching for some of the best croissants. You can walk down church with your eyes closed and the smell will guide you right inside. The gentleman who greeted us was super friendly and welcoming. We got a couple plain croissants and an almond croissant just because it looked delicious. We got to work on the almond croissant the minute we walked out of the door. I've never been to France but I can't imagine almond croissants getting much better than this. Wonderful texture and a delicious flavor. The plain croissants were also on point. That almond one was the star though. I'll be back for more of those and definitely to try some other goodies. “Do I feel like I'm "stepping out" on Belgiovine's when I'm in Montclair but decide to come here instead? (I do.) But it'll only take one visit for you to be a true believer as well. It's small. You walk in and aside from the squad of friendly workers at both main counters you'll first encounter the amazing breads (and treats). All the shapes, styles and sizes your carb-loving heart desires will be found on one of these racks. Expertly made... dense, sturdy, flavorful, with a mighty crust (that'll give your Fixodent a workout!). Take a few steps towards the 'back' and now you're at the deli and it's overflowing with options. Each item looks bewitching and alluring and before you can even finish saying, "A pound of..." - somehow it's already sliced and bagged and the guy is waiting on the next item you need. (Maybe it's that luscious square of eggplant parm that they've intentionally left "posed" on top of the spatula or the Italian hot dog platter or that mountain of sauteed broccoli rabe that you know it's going to have that perfect 'bite'.) And as soon as you get home you immediately start crafting what's to be a most perfect sandwich with their seeded semolina, fresh ball of mootz (so creamy and delectable), and a few other odds-and-ends you snagged. Thank goodness this town is big enough for more than one amazing Italian deli and I don't have to pick which is my all-time fave.“

“I was impressed with this restaurant, we enjoyed the food as well as the ambiance and service. I came for a business lunch. Ate inside the porch area that was enclosed. I thought the service was very good in terms of attentiveness. The food we got was flat bread pizza for appetizer, pepperoni with hot honey was delicious. The burger tasted great cooked perfectly when I ordered a medium, presentation was nice as I ordered a salad instead of French fries. Most importantly they had Aqua Pana for water. I did think the prices were a bit inflated and expensive however their service made up for it.“

After checking out the menu, I asked him what his favorites were and he made all the tacos sound so delicious. I was kinda of leaning towards a bowl, but after hearing all the taco goodness I grabbed a Cajun shrimp taco to hold me over till later.Turns out the guy I was chatting with was the owner, Todd. Really great to interact with him, super passionate about this place.Service was fast, taco was $6ish, and it was really tasty. The server was very sweet and kind and took good care of us. We are used to the location in Metuchen which is nicer inside. The seating was rather pedestrian. I think they were having problems with their exhaust, as there was an unpleasant smoke from the grill wafting in the air.
