“I was coming back on 80 west and put breakfast near me in google maps. I could not have been happier to find this place. The food was amazing, some of the best French toast and breakfast sausage I’ve had. My girlfriend enjoyed the coffee, they even had almond milk! The only thing better than the food was the service. The waitstaff were beyond friendly. There was a certain warmth amongst all of the staff. I can’t wait until I am in the area again to enjoy another meal there.“

“Stopped in this morning at Pop's Place on Route 48 E. In Rockaway Township after hearing quite a few rave reviews. Cozy, old school style looking little roadside, classic style NJ eatery serving up a selection of Sabrett specialty hot dogs , sandwiches , burgers , grilled chicken boxes, spuds and rings, in addition to a mouth watering selection of your traditional New Jersey breakfast choices. Super fast and friendly service and immaculately clean, it was a family friendly joint to just sit, relax, and stuff your face with a variety of your favorite menu items, be it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I went with Pop's Breakfast Bomb. Taylor Ham (6 slices, beautifully charred), Sausage Patty, 2 Eggs, several slices of American Cheese, on a toasted Brioche Bun. WOW! “The food is great tastes amazing! I'm truly amazed at how catering and caring the owner and staff are. I love this place and come here all the time for good burger fries hotdogs and and chicken tenders and of course the Dover Dairy maid is right never door the ice cream is fantastic the service is great. The ambiance is definitely good old fashioned American food is family friendly you can eat out side they just opened today for the start of the season. So excited to go back again.“

“Great little deli with hot food and places to sit. Perfect place to grab lunch after visiting nearby Willowwood Arboretum or any other local attraction. The food was tasty, served quickly by a friendly staff. We had a pork roll on a hard roll and a Reuben. Both were good.“

If I had a knock, the chili could have had a little more chili flavor to it. We still liked it though. The volcano was the favorite. And the fries, you have to get the fries. But like their hot dog with cheese and bacon 8.00 really?? For a slice of American cheese and literally 1 slice of bacon??? That was a mistake ? getting budget wise.Taste it was good but a better quality hot dog better quality cheese and maybe like 2 slices of bacon crumbled...for that price it should have a gourmet approach.The fries are delicious the burgers too but again it's the cost that always makes 5 guys our every 3 month or more treat.I definitely wouldn't get the grilled cheese.What do you think??Either way enjoy when you do have the $$ to splurge.“

“This local tavern seems to have transformed itself during the pandemic! The food is amazing! I was surprised at the prices however. We intended to stop in for a few beers and burgers, it was not a special night out but it wound up costing as much as if it were. The noise levels tend to get pretty high in the bar, so you may prefer to sit in the back dining area. Go and support locally owned establishments!“

“I have never seen a restaurant so clean. Kudos to them. The sandwiches were so amazing that we forgot to take pictures. Fries which Cajun spices was great as well, but it could be even better if they had fried them a little longer.Parking: The place is just across AMC. There are a lot of parking spots available.“
