“Bangklyn is without a doubt one of the tastiest and most unique restaurants in the city. The food is amazing and fresh, especially the fried chicken. The owner/cook/busboy is awesome and even though he won't say much, he is kind when he does talk and he works really hard to serve the customer. As for the decor, is it a thrift shop? Is it just decoration? It's difficult to tell, but either way it's cool. Highly recommend.“
“The real deal! Lived in Malaysia and Singapore for three years, and this is just like it, only better. Super-fresh, very filling, and really nice people. If you like spices, try the Laksa! If not, do the Peanut Noodles or the Singapore Noodles. “Fantastic small Vietnamese restaurant, with great food, even better service and ok seating. For a small location, they made good use of their limited space and they communicate regularly if the food will be delayed. My only small complaint would be probably due to the kitchen being so close and the ventilation not being great, our clothes had the food smell afterwards but I won't take a star off since it wasn't too bad. I know their prices will go up eventually but their current price for their food quality is hard to beat.“
“It was my first time here and the seafood kalguksu was so delicious. It's full of seafood, the broth is delicious, the servers are very friendly, and I highly recommend the soft tofu seafood kalguksu when you're craving something spicy. It's too bad I live far away and can't come often.“

Now the good, because a little bit of lifting and asking can help with the above! Service was amazing. Our server was super informative and guided us on our culinary excursion. Szechuan Ravioli- spicy vinaigrette so may be a little on the sour side for some, nice crisp on the outside Fried Rice- serviceable, not much to it Impossible Duck Bun - vegetarian, nice flavor profile and a good bite Vegetable Bowl - lots of veggies and a choice of noodles or rice. Get the noodles. Shanghai Wontons- we ordered this last but we should have done this first... and in multiples. My fav dish because I am a sucker for spicy peanut sauce. Spicy Vegetable Bun- also a great bun, cant go wrong with any of them really. Nice sauté on the vegetables and great flavor. If you made it this far....go! “I don’t normally love Thai food but the Red eye chili paste chicken is so good and spicy that I know I will be thinking of this dish for some time. Every ingredient is fresh, the chicken was perfectly tender and moist, and the rice omg it’s so good. You can tell it was prepared with immense care. The one man chef/owner also gave me great recommendations from the menu and tips on how to enjoy the food at home. He is SO sweet. The ambience is so lovely and quaint as well!! ?“

We weren't up for a big meal but we got the mandoo soup and dumplings for our daughter. I know I probably should have ordered noodles as that is their specialty, but was unsure if it would affect my sugar levels a lot. I guess the mandoo wrappers would have similar effect, so, oh well! We were greeted with a warm broth tea that was delicious, a little salty, but so comforting on the cold day. Loved our mandoo soup! Flavor was so good! My only wish was that the mandoo in the soup was smaller. It was bigger than golf ball size and was a little difficult for me to eat without feeling I was doing so "inelegantly". They were filling too, but so much to bite into. But this is just my personal preference. Overall, great place and great food, with lovely ambiance and wait staff.“

“This place has amazingly fresh sushi. Not the best for cooked food like chicken teriyaki and such, but for sushi, it's a great price and some of the best sushi around, regardless of price. Not much of a sit down place, so my husband and I always take it to go, although there are tables if you want to eat there. It's very clean inside and the guys are always super nice. If you want a solid sushi dinner, I can't recommend enough!“

Overall very good and refreshing. Beef noodle soup was okay. Beef was a mixture of tender and dry. Good flavor though. Xiao long baos are a mouthful. They do have juice. Skin is handmade which give it a good texture. It was a little too thick. If you like that then this is your spot. If you live near by, I definitely recommend!“

I barely had to look for the owner when I needed something, he was anticipating our needs instead of waiting for us to ask, which is so rare in service now. The location is great corner venue with parking, outdoor seating. Inside is very nicely designed with cute tea pots and beautiful lighting. Another plus is there are outlets beneath the booth sides so you can plug in devices while your there too. This place does it right, do yourself a favor and try it out!“

It’s rare for me to write a review and I feel kind of silly but I appreciated my meal so much that now I gotta talk about it I guess! ?I got steamed dumplings and the sesame chicken, nothing fancy. But it was delicious and all of it tasted so clean and fresh—not greasy, oily, or too salty. The rice was perfectly steamed too, not wet and mushy and not dry. I ordered on Uber Eats not realizing how far away they are from where I live, but it was worth the delivery time and wasn’t too long of a wait. Everything was still warm too. If you’re on the fence because of their Google rating, just know that on Uber Eats they have a 4.8 rating with 100+ reviews. A great find, and I’m grateful. ☺️“

When I observed a worker unwrapping a fresh bag of what appeared to be frozen dumplings, my suspicions were aroused. The menu's other items appear to be generally good. The plastic Tupperware containers they use to serve food are kind of cheap and inappropriate given the price I paid. Though I doubt it would be my first visit, I wouldn't mind going back.“

Staff and the ladies are very pleasant with a smile. Price is very reasonable. Same price as a fast food meal but you get a much healthier gourmet meal.“
