“Great portions inexpensive, the rice was soft & the vegetables were perfectly cooked/seasoned. My only grips were that there were bones in the curry chicken & the jerk chicken was a bit sweet. The chicken was cooked perfectly though, great texture & moisture. I will definitely come back.“

“We were greeted by a friendly gentleman who guided us through the sizes and menu items. Once we ordered the food was being prepped and cooked and we waited no longer than 15 minutes. Food was hot & juicy, meats were tender and flavorful & while I have to not been to many Jamaican restaurants to fully compare, I know this food was delicious. We even had leftovers for no more than $50“

“We Live across the street from the recently opened FYAHSIDE. My Son n his buddy went over to check it out n try their food. Well you could say they haven't ordered food from anywhere else since then. From what I tasted I was kinda surprised at great it was! Mac n Cheese, I think it was almost the best I've tried from everywhere else. And the Jerk Chicken melted in your mouth, was absolutely perfect. It's a shame it's in an off location. So I'm glad to see all the food delivery services carry them. We can walk across the street. In fact My son is there now!?????❣️“

“Food was fresh & tasty the curry chicken was literally falling off the bone and the Mac and cheese was fire! I sat in and it was okay but it seemed more like a takeout spot. the people were really nice I’ll def be ordering again but only for pickup “

“I had a wonderful experience the two times I’ve visited this establishment. I did take-out the first time and dine-in the next. I was satisfied with both visits. The food was tasty each time, it was clean, and the service rendered was great. I will continue to patronize this establishment until otherwise.“

“Let me 1st say that they need to print updated menus. There are 3-4 items they don't serve still on their printed menu. That being said, what they do have is DELICIOUS & PLENTIFUL!! The restaurant seating area is small. If you choose to dine in, be prepared to wait. Large tasty variety of island beverages. Be mindful of the amount of sugar in them, though. Items are prepared to order, and there is always competition with a steady flow of delivery drivers coming for take-out orders. The food is definitely worth the wait and I highly recommend you try it.Vegetarian options: Several fish and veggie offerings.Parking: Shared with the other strip stores.“

“Food was great but parking took close to a half hour and we almost lost our reservation and Ben thought we came a half hour around! Server never checked on us and refilled drinks without flagging her down. Hot plates were handed ver with our warning giving finger burns of which staff couldn't have cared less. Even getting the check took awhile.“

“I can't understand some of the negative reviews. I have tried other local Jamaican spots and they are all just not Flava! I have been coming to Flava for a few years and their food is always consistently delicious and flavorful! (Hence the name flava) Not to mention, only $13-$17 a platter. Highly recommend their wings with the homemade spicy sauce, curry goat, and j*** chicken! Their customer service is also phenomonal (always). The woman who takes the orders on the phone doesn't miss, she always gets it right. The man is always pleasant and smiling when we come to pick up and telling us to be safe getting home. The food is always hot and fresh by the time I make it home. 10/10 recommend! Don't listen to these negative reviews.“
