“We've lived in Bayville since 2015 and tonight we tried the Trenton pie from Shady Rest for the first time. How did it take us nearly 9 years to find the best pizza in the area? The thin, crispy crust. The generous and flavorful sauce. Just the right amount of cheese. Hot and fresh, right from the oven. We will be ordering so often you'll think we are making up for lost time. Thank you, Shady Rest. Please don't change a thing.“

“Came in for an early dinner with my son. We arrived at 4pm. By the time we left there was a wait, and it's obvious why. The food was so good. The wings were delicious, and cooked perfectly. I had the scallops and my son had the cheese steak. Two very different meals and both absolutely incredible. Our waiter was so awesome and attentive as well. Would 100% come back.“

“Came here back in 2018-2019 a few times for dine in and takee out, back then the food was a hit or miss but I went again in December 2023 and for St Patricks Day 3/17/24 and the food is on point! “My husband and I had dinner here for the first time in the summer of 2023 on a weeknight inside. We decided to give it a try due to the recommendation of our neighbors. I had the Lobster Grilled Cheese sandwich and Lobster Bisque Soup in a bread bowl upon recommendation of our neighbors again. Both items did not disappoint. Both items were super filling and tasty! If you order the soup in a bread bowl, be prepared to share. It becomes like an appetizer with all the soft bread in the bowl. Absolutely delicious. As for the atmosphere, we chose to sit inside. Watching the ocean and the boats at sunset gave it a perfect summerlike feel. We will be back based on our last experience this past summer.“

“The owners are cool! Best Bartenders on the island!! Food and spirits are slamming!!! Cold craft beer and wine on tap with ice water on the side. I sit down in my favorite spot at the bar with my special glass filled with gin and homemade tonic created by the mixologist on staff. My favorite sports are on TV while enjoying great conversations with the best customers around. So order a burger it's the best in town or enjoy the raw bar and fish on the menu. There are plenty of vegetarian dishes, steak, and pasta as well. Hope to see you soon! I will be there in my favorite chair with a G n T in hand!!!“

“We cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding experience at the Daymark! From start to finish Paul & Brian were responsive and collaborative. The vibe and looks of the upstairs party room were beautiful and set the stage for our Mediterranean garden party by the beach disco vibes, not that it needed additional decor but they did allow us to add our own DIY elements that only enhanced the space. The service, food, and drinks were delicious and so good! Paul and the rest of the Daymark staff were attentive and helpful from the day we inquired to the end of our wedding night, to picking up our decor the next day. Everything was just so easy and so well put together. We would 100% recommend the Daymark to anyone who is looking for a unique and colorful wedding space, with an amazing team and food. 10/10 experience and SO glad we had our ceremony (rain plan which had to be used) and reception there. They were collaborative and so helpful with each of our vendors. We truly can't wait to just come and eat the food and reminisce about our amazing day.“
