“Went here for dinner with my significant other since we wanted to try something new. The restaurant looks nice and is tucked away at the plaza’s corner. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet while we enjoyed our dinner. We ordered miso soup and sushi pizza for starters. Then, the sashimi dinner and different sushi rolls. We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was since this was our first time here. We thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes we chose and even had dessert. Service was good, but it kind of took some time for the food to come out. It is a bit pricey for the amount of food you get, it might be better to stop by during the lunch hours. Overall, great experience and we’ll be stopping by again.“

“Their sushi is very fresh and exceptional! The fish quality was very fresh and their plating was pretty and clean. Sushi chef looks intimidating, however he is friendly and caring. He personally came out of his kitchen just to see how our food was. I love sushi and I have a particular pickiness with sushi. I either goto NYC or upper Bergen to get sashimi and sushi. They serve the real yellowtail and tuna fish! Their salmon and white sashimi meat and wasabi is different from all the other sushi bar/restaurant. “Tokyo Sushi is a solid sushi spot in the neighborhood! We ordered two party platters here for a family gathering and I was impressed with how fresh and well-prepared the rolls were. Placing our order over the phone was a breeze - the woman on the line guided us to select a number of rolls and sashimi and even gave us a few recommendations that ended up being solid picks. There was a wait of around forty minutes for our platters, but the resulting dishes were gorgeous, and most importantly, tasty.The folks here are as nice as can be and while we placed a to-go order, it seems like a postprandial froyo might be a great perk of dining in. As an added plus, there is a sweet $30 discount that is applied to all orders above $150, which is a fantastic deal if you're placing a large order.“

“Perfect staple for 3 hungry boys who love chicken teriyaki. The atmosphere is very laid back and chill. The neighborhood's really nice. And most importantly the food is extremely good. Great portions and you leave feeling very satisfied. Another important point... 1-year-old 4-year-old and 6-year-old... They absolutely love the chicken teriyaki over white rice. Therefore as a parent I am sold. This really cool location. The owners are extremely hardworking and are so kind to our children. I thought the fish was good quality, appreciated that the sauces were on the side so you can adjust how much you want, and the quick pick up time was a plus. “Visited for lunch and just as good as I remembered. Had to get the Spring Breeze roll - love this combination and have never seen it anywhere else. The lunch box is a great deal too at around 14 bucks. The also have a lunch special where you can pick 2-3 regular rolls with soup and salad. We were able to find street parking out front but if you can't remember there is a public lot nearby.“

“There are many sushi places in the area, but we always come back to Yokohama. Every time we go, we know we will get delicious sushi at a fraction of the price compared to the restaurants around but the quality is still just as good, if not better! “This was a great find! I found this place on yelp, and I'm really glad I went! I had the tonkatsu ramen with a side of kimchi, and a passionfruit green tea with lychee jelly. The tea, ramen, and kimchi were really good! It wasn't super salty, like other ramen places. This food tastes homemade and unique. The service was good, the waitress was attentive and my food came out really quickly. I went during lunch and it wasn't super busy. I would definitely come back!“

“Needed a sushi fix today and I’m glad I chose this place they literally had everything I wanted to settle my craving. I ended up getting their lunch special which you could get two rolls off a smaller menu for about $13, which also came with me so soup. I also ended up grabbing one of their specialty rolls which I will admit is a little on the pricier side… $18 a roll but the flavor and size of the roll did not disappoint. I’m obsessed with crispy rice tuna and the fact that they had it on their menu really pushed me to give this place five stars. Five solid pieces of crispy rice spicy tuna and a large chunk of avocado on top, drizzled with some spicy mayo and eel sauce… Chefs kiss. If I’m in the area I’ll definitely be returning for round two there’s a few more specialty rolls I’d like to try. They’ve got plenty of other options if sushi isn’t your thing from rice bowls to fried rice and array of appetizers and one of my favorite options Ramen. If you got a hankering for some sushi I highly suggest taking a stop in and giving it a try… I don’t think it will be disappointed in the slightest?“

“Best local sushi place around! The sushi is always fresh and the sides/appetizers are delicious as well. They have a little "mizu mart" in the front of the store with plenty of Japanese and Korean snacks, ramen, and candy. There isn't any space for indoor eating (it's really tiny) but takeout or outdoor dining is available. Service is quick and very kind.“

“I find it hard to believe I have not argued this place, maybe they changed businesses or owners and my old review is there. Which I can totally own because when I originally started coming here it was just sultan wok and now it is sultan wok/ Asian Express. This is my top choice spot for Chinese takeout locally. To the point where when they are closed and I want Chinese takeout, I just wait until they're open and get something else. My go-to is the general tso is chicken, with which I like to treat myself for lunch when I am working from home. Is this the best Chinese food I've ever eaten, I don't know. Does it satisfy the craving when I have it, absolutely. I would say there are days when I think their food is particularly better than others, without rhyme or reason, but I do tend to find their food tends to be better more often than it's not. Not. I also like when general tso chicken has a nice crunch to it and they tend to have better chicken than other places. I don't think I've ever had it and it'd be soggy unless I'm reheating it which does not count. The woman there tends to be very friendly. Who takes the orders, they have to have a system that gives the name of the customer because she always knows my name and greets him with a hello Mike when she answers the phone. Now if I ordered more regularly I could totally see her knowing my name. However, I do not order frequently enough for her to know who I am, which makes me think they have to have some sort of system. Either way it's nice or is she just that good at her job. All in all, I don't think you can go wrong. Getting takeout from here. I've tried some other spots in town with high recommendations and have been sorely disappointed. I hate soggy chicken and I've never gotten soggy chicken from here.“

“The food and the service was incredible. I have two little very talkative girls and the team there showed them all the attention they needed. Not sure how long they have been open for but we’ve been living in scotch plains for 8 years and just finally visited. “I've been coming here to the mall food court inside Bridgewater Commons since 2008. Tori Sushi never disappoints me and the service is so fast. The quality is even better than you would expect from a mall food court. They even have Poké bowls which is nice for a little bit of variety.“

“My wife and I have been coming to Mitsuba for many years and have never had a bad experience. We ate there just last night, the appetizers rolls and sashimi we got were fresh and delicious, as always. The food is excellent, the service is good, the atmosphere can be a bit noisy but nothing too outrageous. If you're looking for good sushi near Chatham, Mitsuba is a great bet.“

“They were able to make my dish gluten free!!! And it was great!! They charred my chicken and broccoli with some chili flakes and it was yummy. “It’s pretty good but I’ve only been here once. I’ve tried a lot of Asian fast food places and their food is better than average. The lo mien is tasty, not too salty or dry. I also got the sesame chicken which was tender but just a lil too strong with the seasoning (kind of salty). The tofu was reallly good!! Nice customer service too.“

“Overall a good hibachi experience. The restaurant offers a casual vibe and can be a bit loud. The service was great and attentive, including the hibachi performance it's. The food was good and the chef got everyone's order exactly as they wanted it. I gave the lychee mojito a try as that was a unique flavor I don't normally come by. It was pretty good, but the mango mojito was better, in my opinion. It's a little on the pricy side, but I would return to try some of the extensive menu offerings. :)“

“They have a nice fish tank, and a chill atmosphere. Good to have a date. Only reason I gave 4* was because I don't know what it is but the California roll just didn't check my taste buds. I'm from NYC and eat sushi regularly. IDK if it's because they use real crab and not the fake one (I'm used to that flavor) but I've tried them 2x and both times were the same and just found it difficult to enjoy. This doesn't mean they are bad or not worth a try. I think for NJ expectations they are good. Actually I tried all 3 local spots and they all pretty much the same.
