“Reading some of the reviews I was initially skeptical about what my dining experience would be at Nami Nori. Namely, the complaints regarding the removal of the plastic covering from the seaweed wrap. Well, I am very happy to say that my experience was excellent. The coverings were very easy to remove. They slide right off. And, it isn't a gimmick. Removing the cover from the wrap just before taking a bite really does make a big difference. The wrap remains crisp and fresh as opposed to limp and soggy. The quality of the fish was top notch and served at the correct temperature. Portion sizes are reasonably good and the prices are pretty fair overall. Everything we ordered was excellent with the exception of the vegetable tempura appetizer which was just alright. The service was on point and the ambiance of the dining area is upscale, modern Japanese. A great place for a date. I don't recommend bringing the kids. I look forward to visiting Nami Nori again soon.“

“My husband and I finally tried this place and we will definitely go back! They have a great menu. Normally I would never see or even order pork chop but I gave it a shot and it was the most delicious, juicy pork chop I've ever had! The gin sangria I ordered and old fashioned my husband ordered were perfectly made. Our server Kenny was pleasant, prompt and attentive. After dinner we went to the bar. The atmosphere is really nice. Highly recommend.“
“Came here on a friends suggestion and it did not disappoint!! It's a small place with a nice bar and some tables to the side. We went early so it was quiet but it was great! They have some local beers which we always love to see small business supporting each other. We settled on some drinks and went over their menu which was impressive. We settled on the eggplant tower special,I ordered pesto salmon, hubby had the clam chowder soup (the size of the bowl was enough for two people) and the lemon sole special with broccoli rabe. There was not one thing we didn't enjoy. Everything was very fresh, not laced with salt and cooked with love. Absolutely delicious!! We were so happy with our choices . I would have given five stars but I have to say it was WAY too cold in there, I had my coat on the entire time so I wasn't really comfortable. I heard the bartender say it was 59 in there. I get the kitchen gets hot but you they need to make sure the customers are comfortable. We honestly would have stayed for one more drink but I have some health issues that get really bad when I'm that cold. I also wish they would have said the eggplant in the tower was breaded . Not that I didn't like it (so tasty) but I am on a diet so i probably would have chosen a salad instead. Place is great and very clean. This will stay on our list if favorite local spots for sure. The prices were very reasonable as well“

“I was out celebrating my 4 year wedding anniversary with my husband. We arrived early and it was our first time being there. The valet parking was a surprise but very upscale. Our table was on the 2nd floor, we felt like it was very small and could potentially drop something over the side where we were seated. The food was very good and the service was on point. Like an old school speakeasy or a scene out of Goodfellas you then walk down a narrow hallway into a buzzing restaurant and bar scene. Menu is priced perfectly and one appetizer is better then the next. Tuna, burrata, meatballs, cauliflower w cherry peppers, lobster salad, whipped ricotta. Absolutely nailed it with the apps. As for the mains: great selection of pasta, fish and meat. The pork chop Milanese and the chicken marsala crush it ?. Portions are huge so pace yourself as the dessert is something that should not be missed. Entire experience from food to atmosphere to service was spot on. If this doesn't win best new restaurant in '24 I will be absolutely shocked!“

The cocktail I got was lips like sugar. It was great, sweet as expected -- tequila was the way to go.
