“This place is awesome! I have been to a few teriyaki madness locations. With my last (only) location in Tampa, Fl closing about three years back. My fiancée and I were in New Jersey and found there is TMAD locations in NJ.

My experience at this location was probably the best TMAD food I have ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection, with it all being made in about 10 minutes. The service was amazing and the potstickers were great too. We were even checked on to see how the food and everything was. I also was impressed with how clean it was with everything spotless.

If you are in the area and want some great food with great service, I highly recommend stopping into this location and we will be back when we are in the area again!

“This was my first time visiting Dozo Sushi and the hostess noticed my order and asked if I was vegetarian. After confirming I was, she let me know she would have the team replace my one roll as the sauce contained oysters. I didn't know about the sauce, and would have never known if she hadn't asked, so I was impressed about the extra level of care. They quickly remade my roll and had me out the door with my tasty, customized, rolls. Excellent customer service and food! Thank you.“

“Perfect staple for 3 hungry boys who love chicken teriyaki. The atmosphere is very laid back and chill. The neighborhood's really nice. And most importantly the food is extremely good. Great portions and you leave feeling very satisfied. Another important point... 1-year-old 4-year-old and 6-year-old... They absolutely love the chicken teriyaki over white rice. Therefore as a parent I am sold. This really cool location. The owners are extremely hardworking and are so kind to our children. I can see how popular this place is by the mass amount of takeout orders. Overall been going here for quite some time now. Will continue to go here. Great food.

“I ordered takeout today and it was fabulous! For some reason I thought that the menu was just dumplings and never looked further but it is so much more! The quality and completeness of my order was refreshing. I got the Bao Entree Deluxe (with no green peppers), the Pepper Steak for my green pepper loving friend, and the Bao Sampler platter (came with 2 dipping sauces). I also got 10% off the next order :). I also did not feel hungry 2 hours later which seems to always happen to me with chinese food and I don't get it often. I will definitely be back to order agian very soon!“

“Really loved the food here - the flavors were complex, not too sweet, and pleasantly spicy.I was worried the base level of spice would be too mild, so we opted to add an extra one star out of five levels of spice to our dishes. As someone who often cooks with dried chilis and chili paste at home, this was the perfect level of spice for us -- I can't imagine how spicy the next four levels must be in comparison!I especially loved the Malaysian curry puffs. “My wife and I were posted up in Morristown hospital recovering from the birth of our first child. The hospital food is so bad and we decided to order take out from Aikou for our last night in recovery. We ordered the Pad Thai Chicken (outstanding), Pork Gyoza (outstanding), Basil Thai Chicken (wife said it was good, not great, but she has very high standards), and the Scallion Pancakes (good, not great). The soy sauce had a tangy twang to it and I just wanted to drink it. This was a very special treat for us, and we excited to go sit down in the restaurant next time.“

“Living nearby, I go here a lot as it is my preferred sushi restaurant in South Orange. My experience is consistently good, and I've done takeout and dine-in many times. Lots of variety in sushi and also several good choices for appetizers (the Rock Shrimp and the tartare on rice cracker are both so good). Can get pretty busy during the rush and the place isn't huge, but service has always been good. I will be back many more times for sure.“

“For a Wednesday night the place is almost filled. There was a mixture of tables with large parties and smaller ones of couples. Everyone seems to be returning customers which is a good sign. The five dishes we ordered were well prepared with appetizing taste. While their American menu seem to cover frequently ordered western fare, most of their Chinese dishes are listed separatly and only presented in the Chinese language. Our estimation is that everyone in the restaurant ordered from the traditional Chinese menu instead the one you are handed. “My favorite place to order from. Chicken and Broccoli for the win!! They are so friendly and the food is very delicious and always steaming hot fresh off the stove! I also love that this place is family owned. The owners children are always so polite when speaking to customers, their manners are outstanding! The owners are amazing people as well. They are very personable and never forget to ask about my 4 yr old son when I’m picking up my takeout. They definitely stand out from the rest of any ordinary Chinese food restaurant. “Tried eating here for the first time. If you love good Japanese food...you MUST eat here. Out to go order included tempura green bean appetizer that was perfection on a plate. Next we got the shrimp and vegetables tempura that had 5 large delicious shrimp and pieces of sweet potato, broccoli, and onion. Crispy and tasty. We also tired the teriyaki chicken and the teriyaki salmon, both with salad, soup, and veggies. The salad come with a citrus ginger dressing (really good). The portions of chicken and salmon were just right and the flavor was one of the better teriyaki we have had in a long time. Overall, 5 out of 5. This may have been out first time, but it will not be the last! Eat here... you can thank me later.“

“I have to say this is the best chinese food in the area. I am from Brooklyn and trying to find good chinese food is hard, especially in Jersey. I ordered General Tso chicken. Delicious! “I think it’s unfair for me to judge the service and the atmosphere are being that I never formally ate at their restaurant, but I can tell you it is the best Chinese food we order we have been ordering from there for years. Definitely recommend the Pepperidge steak the rice with shrimp The chicken with broccoli.“

“Wandered into this place and discovered that they have a secret Chinese menu with authentic dishes! Actually it's not really secret, they recently hired a new chef that does Szechuan and Northeastern Chinese cuisine, and haven't had a chance to officially update their menu.

Szechuan is pretty prevalent in NJ these days, but NE Chinese cuisine is still a rarity, so we ordered from their NE Chinese menu. The food was pretty good. I would definitely go back and try their Szechuan dishes as well.“
