“My family and I have been coming here for years. It is one of our go to all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants, and it never disappoints. It is most definitely busier on the weekends, so I suggest getting there a little earlier than the traditional dinner time. We came in around 6 pm and by the time we left, it was packed with a line out of the door. I love the dim lit environment when you walk in to the place. It welcomes good conversation and even better food! The Crunchy Eel Roll is a fan favorite, so I would recommend trying it. In terms of service, it is a bit off putting in terms of lack of friendliness, but by no means was the service bad or the waiters or waitresses rude. When ordering sushi and sashimi, refrain from placing very large orders as there are instances in the past where they miss a roll or do not give enough sashimi. Overall, great experience and will definitely be here again.“
“We love their food. I don't eat sushi but my wife loves their, always fresh sushi. I like their steak, shrimp and chicken dishes with always a big portion of vegetables. The waiters are all very accommodating. Their lunch specials can't be beat. Plenty of parking.“
“Place is wonderful, great atmosphere, they will squeeze you in regardless of how busy they are. Btw this is our second day in a row eating here. We woke up this morning and couldn’t stop thinking about yesterday’s lunch. Dinner was amazing….hidden gem. BYOB ❤️“
“I tried takeout from Lovin' Today, and I was pleasantly surprised. I've never tried vegan chorizo before, so I was kind of worried about whether I'd like it or not. It actually still had the same kind of spice of regular chorizo. To be honest, I didn't seem to notice that much of a difference between this vegan chorizo and regular chorizo. And they gave a lot of it in the taco as well, so I was happy with that. I also got brown rice as a side. It was a hearty portion size of rice. I got vegan naan bread, which tasted delicious and exactly like regular naan bread. I also loved that they sealed the boxes with tape with a drawn heart on it. It's a small detail, but it shows there was care put into putting my meal together. Overall, i was happy with my meal, and I would definitely order from them again.“
“This place has the best jok bal (pork feet) in Fort Lee/Cliffside Park. Also recommend their pork bone soup with potatoes - it's hearty and not too spicy, yet full of flavors. However it's not the best I've had.Price is fair and service is friendly. Plenty of parking in the plaza nearby. May need to wait on weekends.“
“Wow! The best Filipino restaurant I think I’ve ever been to. Everything we ate was delicious: the wings, the bangus, the vegetables, even the calamnsi dressing in the cucumber tomato side salad was great…I can’t wait to go back and try more of the food!“
“Super tasty batten ramen, I like it and the appetizers are delicious, it’s funny that they have Manga for foreigners since we don’t know the language! (There should be something for all languages.?) But the food is very delicious, I faithfully recommend it..“
“We really like Masago! We've been ordering their lunch specials for about a year, and the food has always been fresh and consistent with reasonable pricing for the 3 roll combo. We look forward to it every week. Once you order from them on the phone, you can leave your food and payment preferences on file, so calling them and re-ordering is super quick. Delivery during lunch time is usually within 30 minutes, and they will leave the food on your porch if you ask.“
“Really cute spot - we happened to pop in early and get a seat right in the front window, it was really lovely. The waitress was super kind and attentive. The prices are also super super affordable!! A great place to eat some authentic thai! The sake martini was also super delicious ✨“
“Stepping into this Filipino fast food breakfast spot, I was immediately greeted by the inviting aroma of Tapsilog and Lumpia, signature dishes that promise a quick yet authentic taste of the Philippines. The fast, friendly service and the mouthwatering flavors of perfectly seasoned beef paired with garlic rice and the crunchiness of fresh Lumpia offered a satisfying, flavorful start to the day, proving that great Filipino food can be enjoyed even on the go.“
“This cute restaurant is not downtown Ridgewood NJ.However it offers superior Japanese fare and is always busy with regulars and locals. The sushi and sashimi selection is great, they also have Udon dishes and appetizers like Yakitori ,as well as Teriyaki plates (chicken, salmon with rice), all very tasty. It can be a bit crowded on the weekends , its a popular place !The inside is a bit on the older side and if you make reservations ask for a booth, better than the tables or eating at the sushi bar (small space). They also have plenty of take-out orders on the week-end, so try to get in before 7:00pm to avoid lines.“
“This was my second time coming to the restaurant the first time I came for a dine and experience, which was awesome the second time it was a pick up order to go the day before Christmas Eve. My daughter was in town and we needed something to eat while we traveled for Christmas . I ordered the spring roll the wonton soup and the chili and basil fried rice. I really enjoyed their wonton soup. The broth has a lot of flavor in it and it's always consistently good. The fried rice has egg, bell pepper, chili, and fried onion in it. The restaurant on the inside is actually quite beautiful and has some great artwork on the wall. Just not the picture and added it here. I will definitely be back. This location is always packed for takeout as well as for dinner and I'd really enjoy their food.“
“Their Sauce that they sell is good but TOO SWEET for my taste. I wish they will Fix their Ingredient Label, you can see there is Sugar but not sure if there are other words not visible. I Loved the thick Skinned Dumplings, this way it will not break when I Boil it in hot water.Vegetarian options: They had Veggies Dumplings in the Freezer.“
“We got takeout. They always have our order ready promptly. We ordered Gra Prow fried rice with chicken, Pad Kee Mao noodles with chicken, and wonton soup with chicken wontons. Everything was delicious and with generous portions. They made it spicy as I requested!“
“Tawara is the hidden gem of NJ! I stumbled upon this restaurant during a road trip last year, and have made it a point to return to the area specifically so I can dine at Tawara again. This place makes the list as one of my favorite restaurants of all time. The pork buns are some of the most delicious things you will ever taste. The sunset roll, spicy beef and sashimi have all been fresh and incredible. Everything I’ve tried on their menu is top quality and taste. Raika is also an excellent hostess, bringing a warm and friendly vibe that makes you feel at home. Overall amazing and highly recommended!“
“Loveddd the spicy popcorn chicken! I should gotten the large. Very flavorful, there is a definite kick and a burn to the sauce. I will definitely return to try the original flavor and get the large popcorn chicken again. The cashier was very polite and I appreciated the care she applied to packaging my order.I hope everyone has a great new year.“
“Fresh and tasty, nice portions and always unique specials on the menu! Service is very good too. However, don't expect a lot of ambiance inside though. The lights are too bright with worn looking decor and dingy walls BUT the food sure makes up for it.“
“Menya Sandaime Ramen offers a delightful culinary experience with their flavorful ramen and exceptional service. The rich, savory broth paired with perfectly cooked noodles creates a delicious combination that keeps you coming back for more. The attentive and friendly staff add to the overall dining pleasure, making it a must-visit spot for any ramen enthusiast.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian ramen option“
“Allow me to extol the virtues of my recent dining experience at Raku Izakaya, an establishment that exquisitely marries culinary mastery with impeccable hospitality. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and sophistication, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.Raku Izakaya's menu is a symphony of flavors, expertly curated to delight even the most discerning palate. Each dish presented an artful fusion of traditional Japanese techniques with contemporary flair, showcasing the chef's dedication to both tradition and innovation. From delicate sushi rolls bursting with freshness to robust izakaya-style small plates brimming with bold flavors, every bite was a revelation.Yet, it is not only the exceptional cuisine that distinguishes Raku Izakaya, but also the impeccable service and attention to detail. The staff exhibited a genuine passion for their craft, effortlessly guiding me through the menu and ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience exceeded expectations. As I reflect on my time at Raku Izakaya, I am filled with a sense of gratitude for having had the opportunity to partake in such an exceptional culinary journey. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend Raku Izakaya to anyone seeking an unparalleled dining experience that transcends mere sustenance to become a true culinary adventure.“
“Absolutely Love this Place!!! Good quality, great service, very convenient and fast, and overall has the BEST CHINESE FOOD EVER!! 100% recommend I know the owners and they are lovely! Overall friendly staff and very high quality Chinese Sushi Restaurant!Kid-friendliness: Very friendly and always glad to have me there!“
“My friend ordered from here takeout while I was with her. I tried a whole bunch of different foods she bought for like $55 worth. They were all very good from 5 different dishes I tried.Parking: Maybe 7 spots of parking but that's good enough. I think there are spots across the street too. I wasn't paying that much attention because it was a spontaneous visit.“
“Very good sushi and well priced. You won't break the bank. A variety of lunch specials all very tasty and priced to bring you back. 3 rolls for $12.95 is great compared to other sushi restaurants. The restaurant is small but very well appointed and clean. Service was good, nothing flip over.“
“I had to deduct one star because my favorite Layl Shishi item is no longer on the menu. The VIP Cholent Plate (aka the Heimishe Sombrero) was truly a dish worthy of the VIP mantle. Cholent (bean or barley), potato kugel, kiskha, jachnun, eggs, Gedempte Fleish and two slices of garlic toast. Truly a way to end the workweek and rocket towards Shabbos. The poppers are still a strong contender tho - so I'll typically get those for my forschpeiz and get a sombrero elsewhere. Solid eating.“
“This place always seems to be busy. So I finally got a chance to check it out. Even though they didn't have what I wanted on the menu they customize my order just how I want it!! I really appreciate that, the staff was very friendly and nice!“
“So Kong Dong is one of my favorite Korean restaurants. It's homey, comforting, and the prices are extremely fair for both the quantity and quality. I would highly recommend the squid dolsot (a hot stone bibimbap, where the stone bowl sizzles and browns the rice on the bottom)! This dish was only ~$20, which I thought was fair for the value and absolutely delicious. They don't skimp on the squid either, which can be a sticking point sometimes at other restaurants. Overall, amazing experience. Down to earth, excellent quality, and an all around great place. Don't skip on So Kong Dong the next time you're in Fort Lee!“
“Bonchon is THE brand for a reason. Great Korean chicken, always hits the spot, consistent. Very crispy without ever being crunchy. Very flavorful without really sticky fingers. It takes a while longer than other wings to cook, but it's worth the wait.“
“I wish they had vegan options and more vegetarian options. I used to love Bonchon before I stopped eating meat. I got the fried rice without meat and eggs and it was just ok. The vegetable dumplings had a crunchy exterior but the veggies inside were mushy which gives me the impression they aren’t made in house. My daughter absolutely loved her garlic soy chicken and fries. The staff was very friendly and nice which I appreciated.Vegetarian options: Definitely need more“
“The ambiance is awesome! I highly recommend Hanami Restaurant in Cresskill. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! Special thanks to Apple, Danny, Jeff, and Bing ( sushi chefs ) . Never been disappointed as we come and dine three times a week.“
“Best sushi in the area. Always very fresh sushi and perfect fish to rice ratio (not too much rice like many other places around here do). I've tried other places around here but always go back to Daruma as it's by far superior in the quality of food.“
“Great kosher place with a cool vibe. The menu is pretty big and the service was extremely nice and helpful. Food tasted fresh and amazing.Vegetarian options: No meat in the store, if you don't want fish they have many non fish items as wellDietary restrictions: Kosher and vegetarianWheelchair accessibility: Ground level“
“Ambiance: small and intimate space. No frills. Street parking on small streets. Service: the whole process is slow. The cooking of the food aka grilling stuff the old school way over a coal grill, took a longgggg time that I got buzzed sipping on my hot sake. Order a shitload of food because you will be hungry waiting for the next round of food and it will take even longer to get more food once the place starts getting packed. Wait staff is very nice tho. Food: I have ZERO complaints about the food. Everything we ate was delicious. Who knew intestines and chicken skin could be so delicious???? Even the crispy chicken gizzards was so yum. The food is tapas style so it adds up and the bill can have a bit of a woah factor, especially when buzzed.“
“Each dish was packed with flavor and genuinely impressed me! Lots of creative touches like the creamy mushroom sauce on the gyozas, wasabi masago served with the ceviche, and the blueberry compote in the fried banana dessert. The tuna avo roll while simple hit the spot (rice still warm + perfect tempura crunch) and the duck paired with mashed potatoes was fire. Lots of unique takes on Japanese classics - memorable meal with no complaints!“
“This is definitely one of the best Korean restaurants in Fort Lee. The dumplings were so flavorful and juicy, you definitely need to try them! My main meal was kimichi soondubu and the flavor was so powerful and delicious I can’t wait to eat it again!!! It was also served with a side of pork from the grill and rice. I can’t wait to come back and try the 5 course meal. Truly this restaurant is a gem, the pictures speak for themselves. 5/5! ?“
“Really the best neighborhood Thai in easy driving distance of Suffern. Unsurpassed quality of food. Everything we ate featured the complex flavors of good Thai food. We chose to come on the first day of Daylight savings time and the kitchen was overwhelmed by takeout orders. So my dining companion was served her mains ten minutes before I received mine, hence I dropped a star. But for quality and value this place is my first choice in the Wyckiff/Ramsey area. BYOB“

“Nice Asian restaurant. The wonton soup was excellent. The sushi was perfect. The seafood dish was good. The shrimp was ok, good enough that I might order it again to see if there is any difference. Desserts were very good. The service was excellent, and the tea was amazing.“
“I have been coming here since it was blue moon and for over 10 years i have been a customer of theirs. Their food is amazing, service is top notch and now that they have re-done the interior it is stunning!! I have never heard of Japanese/Mexican but i am excited to try to Japanese side of it! Mexican is always a top 3 for me.“
“If I could give them 6 stars I would, they are great!!! Went there on a date with a lovely friend expecting the usual Kosher Chinese fare that I have had from LA to Pittsburgh to my hometown here on Long Island, NY. I came expecting the food to be the normal I have expected in an inexpensive (for Kosher that is) Chinese restaurant, OK to good. However this restaurant astounded me, it was different!!!The food was fabulous!!! We both had the 'Hot and Sour' soup, and it was impressive! The temp, was just right, not luke-warm as I have come to expect in many restaurants, and, not scaldingly hot, but just right! The spices were hot as they should be, but not too hot. As I said, I was amazed!!!Then for the mains, we had, Spicy Chicken and Curry Chicken. Again the spices were quite hot, but not too, at least for me. They were just wonderful, tasty, yet with a subtle delight. It is hard to express. And we both commented how the presentation of the food on the plates was 'picture perfect.'I would suggest you go and write your own experience! I live 30 miles on the other side of the NYC metro area where traveling can be a challenge all on its own, but for this restaurant in the Bronx, NYC, NY, Kai Fan, I will be returning!!!ps I only wish they were closer to me here on Long Island!!pss I was served by one of the owners, and an owner was on duty at the cash register! A great family run operation!!Dietary restrictions: It is Kosher!!!Parking: Parked across the street at 430 for $5. After 7pm it would have been FREE!!!“
“Hey I mean, been there 2 times so far. Very reasonably priced. Got the lomein and crispy chicken; delicious! Also springrolls were super good. Also got the udon noodles and orange chicken another time, also amazing. Again, reasonably priced. Went with 5 people and it came out to $200.“
“I have been coming here consistently for the last two years and the food never disappoints. The BEST Asian food in Englewood and always hits the spot. I highly recommend their lunch classics, such as the Thai Coconut curry sauce. The sushi rolls are immaculate. Lo mein is also extremely good.“
“Typical Chinese takeout place, typical menu. Ordered chicken with broccoli , lo mein, wontons, etc and the food was good/average. Soup noodles were stale, but the soups were fine. Our order was prepared quickly and was nice and hot. Kind of dingy and dated inside. Prices were a little cheaper than other takeout places in nearby Pearl River, which was nice. According to their menu, they don’t use MSG, if that’s important to you.Located next to a frozen yogurt place in a strip mall on Kinderkamack Rd. There’s a few chairs to sit while you wait for your food but no indoor tables. There’s a parking lot on the side“
“Nice place, tasty food, and good service. I had drunken noodles, pad thai, tom yum, and tom kha soup. I only give it 4⭐️s just because, in my opinion, it would be better to cut the ingredients for the soup into smaller pieces. It's easier to eat with a spoon.“
“Stumbled across this hidden gem and went for lunch. It is a very small intimate location, the food was great and the lunch special is 10$ which let's be honest we don't see too often anymore. I had the chicken and broccoli and my friend had general tsos, both were delicious and a fair portion. Will definitely be returning and looking forward to trying a new item!!“
“I came here earlier this week for dinner and it was nice. Had come in when there was just one other table and the waitress was kind. The place was nicely lit, a nice dim lighting perfect for a good sushi dinner with friends. I got a special roll with tuna and spicy salmon and it tasted very good and filling.“
“All you can eat buffet- I generally judge these spots based on their bulgogi and the kalbi, and both of these options here were on point. I wish they had a little more options in terms of vegetables (they did have cooked broccoli) and fruits (limited to pineapple and melon), but overall it was good value for money. Quick and good service.“
“Love this place! My kids love coming here and hang out with the owner’s kids. Usually get dinner takeout every Saturday night here since I’m off work early. Recommend egg soup with house special Mei fun and house special Duck. Plus a drink of my red wine ?“
“Great experience and highly recommended. Their Omakasan was better than expected, but that was not it. We also ordered yakitori and miso cod. Oh so goooood. The night ended with great ice cream and it's not just some ice cream that tasted like freezer burn. Get the red bean ice cream and you will not regret it. Highly recommend to rsvp at the bar. If you don't have a rsvp, you probably won't get a table for walking in, just FYI!“
“Awesome service! This was my first time here! I treated my Korean friends, they knew what to order! I was surprised by the amount of side dishes they bring out. You def get bang for your buck here! Will def be back! Food was very affordable for the price and super flavorful!“
“Great menu selection for Korean/Japanese food. There is a large public parking lot with access to the rear entrance to the restaurant so it's quite convenient. The restaurant has plenty of tables and the service is good. The food is delicious and comes in large portions. Suggest you pay in cash for additional discount.“
