“I stopped into Bask 46 on Thursday for Happy Hour. Enjoyed the ambiance & vibe and that carried over to your bartender. She was the star of it all. She greeted me with a smile and made me one of the best old fashioned I’ve ever had. I think I’ve found my “Cheers” !!! See you again !!“
“The best IHOP. The best Owner. Amazing staff. Great Food. I recently visited IHOP on route 46. We had a small issue the owner came over and apologized for chiefs mistake and rectified the issue immediately. The owner was very down to earth and extremely friendly. The food was great the prices are reasonable. I will definitely recommend this location to my friends and family. We throughly enjoyed ourselves.“
“Host and waitstaff, we're very nice and helpfull. I knew the place as a diner 40yrs ago! It's come a long way as far as food and atmosphere. I ordered the chicken shish kabobs, tasty but the chicken was a little overcooked, my date ordered the hamburger ? w/ all the works and really enjoyed it!“
“This is a great spot for a date or special occasion. Dinner is Pre-Fix and the menu changes seasonally. The dining areas are very inviting. The staff was very detail oriented and just enough but not on top of you. Basically the service is impeccable. As for the food everything is timed great and everything we ate was awesome. I thought I might leave hungry initially but that was not the case. Must go to spot for a romantic dinner“
“The show was great. I was into even though the knight representing my house lost in battle (off with his head lol). Fun time. Did it for the kids but ended up enjoying it more than them. Food is good. I like the no utensil aspect. I would definitely recommend and return.“
“We only discovered St. Eves a couple weeks ago - great neighborhood spot! Food was very good, service on point, nice atmosphere. Seating a little tight though. Big plus for us - byob! On the pricier side but well worth it. Will definitely included St. Eves in our regular restaurant rotation.“
“I’m hesitant to even write a review because I consider this place a true hidden gem! With so many options in the area I find myself forgetting about Turtle & Wolf until after my recent visit it sprang to the top of my list!I went for a birthday celebration and my friends and I shared a bunch of dishes. Everything was so well executed, the portions were generous and we just had such a lovely evening. Cannot pass on this adorable BYOB.“
“We went for an engagement party and were blown away. Food was delicious. Every bite.Service went above and beyond. I mentioned once I was gluten free and the waiter brought me a special gluten free side and my own dessert. I couldn’t believe it!Probably the best meal I’ve had in a long long time. If they can pull off a large event so well I can only imagine how fab their regular dinner service is!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pros!“
“Went on a Sunday & it was packed! For good reason. They had an a DJ playing great music, the food was good, the aesthetic is a VIBE. Only reason 4/5 was service. Our waiter wasn’t the friendliest/ attentive. Other than that- definitely going back!“
“I ordered catering for my birthday event last weekend and the food was amazing! I’ve been a true fan of this restaurant ever since I’ve moved up to Bloomfield a few years ago and I always bring my friends and family to this restaurant. Whether it’s Brunch or dinner, the food never disappoints! Hence why I thought it was a good idea to ask for them to cater for my bday! Anthony and his team were very accommodating and brought out the rest of trays as the previous ones started emptying out which I greatly appreciated due to the lack of space we were given at the venue. We ordered the chicken empanadas, beef empanadas, broccoli rabe, mixed greens salad, Mac and cheese, chicken parm, eggplant parm, pasta vodka, meatballs and potato croquettes. All dishes were excellent and everyone was excited to pack the leftovers home as well! I also ordered catering from here back in February for my galentines party and the food was also a success during that time. I know I can count on them for providing exemplary food as well as service. Thank you, Anthony and his team for making my birthday memorable!“
“I recently visited Wood Stack & Pizza for the first time with a group of friends, and I must say, we were all impressed. The thin crust pizza was a definite standout, with most of us ordering it and loving every bite. The service was also top-notch, adding to the overall positive experience. We had a great time at Wood Stack & Pizza and would definitely recommend it to others looking for delicious pizza in a cozy atmosphere.“
“Welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Great place to bring kids. Food and drinks are right to individual taste! And the staff is super accommodating!Vegetarian options: Plenty of options for vegetarians. Great salads and bean BergerParking: Free parking lot across the streetKid-friendliness: Great family oriented restaurant. The staff are great with keeping the whole family happy ☺️“
“The BEST guacamole!Vegetarian options: I am vegan and can always find something delicious to eat at Sonoma Grill. My partner thoroughly enjoyed his short ribs. The table side guacamole is phenomenal! The cocktails are always amazing and the staff is always so friendly and accommodating. This is one of our favorite places to eat in Nutley.“
“We had early reservations tonight and we were the first diners. When we walked in the waitress told us that we had to be done in 90 minutes. My wife and I are fairly quick eaters. But when I hear something like that it can suck the enjoyment out of the dining experience.Putting that aside, we had great appetizers and main dishes. The deserts were not on par with the previous two courses. We have eaten at Bloom several times since the summer time and had enjoyed it. I don’t think that we will be rushing back.“
“My wife and I walked into LK for the first time and the hostess greeted us and said "sit anywhere you'd like".....what restaurant ever says that, we were hooked right away. We both shared a caesar salad, it was delicious. My wife ordered pasta with sausage. That too was delicious, I had the pasta with cherry tomatoes and crab meat, absolutely delicious. When our order came, we immediately got fresh pepper and before I could even ask for fresh cheese, a gentleman was waiting behind me with the cheese. I mean, c'mon the place has a great food, great service and a nice chill atmosphere. I think we just found our go-to restaurant.“
“I chose a simple breakfast today! Cyndia's knocked it out of the park with their Over Easy Eggs, Home Fries and Whole Wheat toast! Everything was cooked to perfection. It was awesome! The Great Friendly Service and Atmosphere made my breakfast experience even better. Highly recommend stopping in you will be glad you did! To Cyndia's staff keep up the Great Work, Quality and Service you provide to your customers!!!“
“I absolutely love this place! From the food, atmosphere and customer service. I have used them twice to cater my baby shower and a recent birthday party. Zinna the owner is super sweet, professional, punctual. She truly wants the customer to be happy and checks in with you. My family and friends loved the food and I will always use them in the future.“
“Almost hidden on a small street in Belleville, Me & Tommy's looks like someone's house from the outside. Once inside, you are immediately treated as a guest in a friend's home. We received such a warm welcome, that my husband asked if I knew the staff. That level of service continued throughout the entire meal. I can't remember the last time I experienced such outstanding service. The dining area is quite small, and they are busy all night. I would most definitely call for a reservation in advance. The atmosphere is lively and boisterous. Not meant for a quiet romantic evening. Kinda like a loud Sunday family dinner vibe. For food: Smothered Rice Balls in Vodka Sauce, Stuffed Cubanelle Peppers, Pasta Volognese, and Artichoke Chicken. For me, the Rice Balls were my favorite dish. Generously portioned, the rice balls are a cheesy carb delight. The famous vodka sauce was creamy and plentiful. Highly recommend. The Stuffed Peppers were two very large, beautiful cubanelles (my personal fav pepper). My husband loved the stuffing, while I did think it was a touch over seasoned. The Volognese- cross btw vodka and bolognese) was enormous! It does lean more to the bolognese, but was tasty nonetheless. My Chicken Artichoke special consisted of three chicken breasts with mozzarella and artichoke hearts in a white wine lemon sauce over linguine. This was a very tasty and satisfying dish, and -you guessed it- generous. We shared an Affogatto with Bailey's liqueur for dessert which was a perfect end to the meal. Even my espresso was delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. We took home enough left overs for another meal! We will most definitely return.“
“Where do I begin. Our visit to the Shannon Rose was outstanding. From the nice young lady at the door to our server Edgar who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. When we arrived Trivia was going on, and it was such a delight watching everyone participating in the game. We arrived wanting drinks to end the night, and The Shannon Rose did night disappoint. Our server Edgar was very kind, and very knowledgeable about what we should order, plus very handsome. Kudos to the bartender the drinks were delish!!!! We will DEFINITELY go back for the Trivia Tuesday and for dinner and drinks. What a fun way to end the evening. I hope that the next visit will be as enjoyable as the last one. We hope to have Edgar as our server. Thank you..Thank you.. Thank you!Parking: Tons of parking space. There are extra spaces at the Target parking lot.“
“The outback steak house is one of our favorite places to go. We love the Walk About Wednesday Special- but even more so, we love our favorite server, Victoria. She is so kind. She is really sweet. She remembers my food allergies and she puts up with my boyfriend's dad jokes LOL. We would give her 10 stars if we could!“
“Al Basha is a top tier restaurant in Patterson, NJ! There is usually a wait list around dinner time on a weekend but it always moves way faster than expected and sooo worth the wait! It excels in pretty much every category starting with amazing decor: From the olive tree in the middle and along the corners, to the paintings all around the restaurant, I was in awe to walk into such a creative design encompassing Palestinian roots Service was astounding.. everyone that worked at this restaurant tended to our table whenever we had a question or needed anything at all, I never had to wait to make eye contact or raise my hand, they would come over in no time to help.. let me tell you this level of service is hard to come by Finally the food: we got the mixed mashawi for 4 with shawarma, chicken kebab, beef shish kebab, and kefta kebab and it would have been enough for over 5 people. Each meat was cooked to perfection and the garlic sauce (toum) and hot sauce complimented the meat exquisitely. Special shout out to the mint lemonade which was perfectly refreshingly and oh so fresh, but can we expect any less at such an impressive establishment? I would recommend this restaurant to anyone near Patterson, NJ, and if you're not near Patterson, NJ, you should make the trip!“
“In my eyes shake shack can do no wrong, but the service here was lovely. You don’t expect anyone to care once you get your food at a take out//tray place like this but Patrick not only brought our food out but checked on us & cleared our table as we were heading out. Thanks shake shack.“
“Finally had the chance to stumble on in to The Greeks in Kearny, NJ today for what some people consider the best Jersey Meat/Egg/Cheese in the state!! I don’t care to argue over the name of it. Call it pork roll, call it Taylor ham, call it your aunt sally…I say Jersey Meat to avoid the argument. This may or may not be the best one I’ve had, but it’s absolutely in the conversation. 7 slices of controversy with two eggs and plenty of cheese on a delicious NJ fresh Kaiser roll. This sandwich is exactly $10 and this establishment is cash only. I am perfectly okay paying $10 for this with that much protein going on.The Greeks - Didn’t Suck! ???“
“Adam Weiss's talents shine through in every dish on his menu. The combination flavors and unique preparations keep us coming back time after time. Tonight's carrot soup special and arctic char were simply amazing. Adam's cheesecake is still my hands down favorite ever. Hedy is the perfect hostess- we should all have a Mom like her in our corner! So grateful to have this gem in our backyard.“
“My friend and i were just looking for a cigar bar but i was also a little hungry. Surprisingly i had arguably the best filet mignon of my life here. it was so good. I shared a bit with the others at my table and they were in complete agreement. they had the salmon and was also very satisfied with it. I tap the guests at the table across from us who ordered the largest rack of ribs ever and i asked if that was good too and they said they order it every week. It's so good and falls of the bone. I had to meet the chef, Mike, just to tell him how impressed i was.“
“Don't get me wrong, I love this place, and will probably be back. Last night however, I had a problem with my dish. It was special and when asked for the price was quoted one thing and then the bill came in it was $6 more. When asked, the waiter got no clear response, the dish itself was overdone, maybe that's why overcharge was noticed. Other than that, the food was amazing. Never had better cheese cake in my life, just melts away in your mouth.“
“I'd give it 10 if I could. Lots of variety, great food, very reasonably priced AND friendly service. Parking is a bit of a challenge in Little Falls but this place is worth the short walk for the out of towners. Obviously a local walk to secret gem. This is on my go to list.“
“We came here on a Saturday and from start to finish Ray’s was enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and for it to be as crowded as it was they were very engaging with the customers. The food came out quickly and was delicious! Truly a wonderful family owned spot! Will definitely be going back.“
“The meal was perfectly cooked:FlatbreadSalmon (allergy sensitive)LambFilet & lobsterThe service was exceptional, attending to the allergies of my family and ensuring we were all able to enjoy our meals.Deserts were delicious, and left us wanting a little more, portions were small but perfect.Ambiance is little more upscale than average dining.Dietary restrictions: Chef went above and beyond to ensure allergies were catered to.“
“This honestly was some great food. I’m not gonna lie I be iffy about New Jersey food being from NYC but tbh this was bussin. If you know you know. I’m definitely coming back with my friends, because this is where it’s at! Loved itttt.“
“This was my very first time coming to Borelli's and I'm so glad I did, it features a wonderful staff, wonderful food and a warm & friendly owner who has 6 grandchildren! My lovely date and I sat at the bar and got the last two available stools; it's a cool, small U-shaped bar with a lot of friendly people that are regulars there and they helped us make wise menu selections as did the owner. We started out with Bluepoint oysters that were just splendid and progressed to Bareli's meatball dish, which is definitely a must if you go, a few lovely Chianti Classicos for me and Pinot Grigio for my date, we were happy as a lark, we'll back tonight to see Lonnie Youngblood perform which I couldn't believe, he's 87 years old and still gigging. Somebody buy this man a gold watch! We were also told that the Italian pork chop here is not mind blowing superb. Two. Thumbs up kiddos.“
“I was in the area for a doctor's appointment and wanted to pick up some brekkie. I found Bagel Nosh close by. It was a Tuesday at around 9 am. I called ahead for pick up and my order was ready in less than 10 minutes, and piping hot. I ordered a sausage and cheese on a toasted everything wheat bagel, which hit the spot.l. Some places will only give you one sausage patty even when you don't order it with egg but this one came with two. The bagel itself was pretty good and they have more options than most places. It's a pretty heavy/greasy brekkie but you get a bang for your buck here, and it's nice for a once in a while treat.“
“Our absolute favorite, go-to restaurant. The service is great - the owner is welcoming (even once escorted our toddler to the c-store next door to buy some candy) and all the wait staff is great, especially Jason who is incredibly kind. Food is excellent quality and fairly priced for how good it is. Pastas are cooked perfect al dente. Great meat dishes especially the pork chop french cut. The desserts are quite good as well - love the coconut cake. Because it's not huge it isn't quiet but we've never found it to be uncomfortably loud and it has a great ambience.“
“Amazing staff, delicious food, the perfect spot for your event! John was such a pleasure to work with. He took care of every need and made sure that my event went perfectly. My family and I were beyond happy with everything and enjoyed having the private space for us and our guests. Can’t recommend enough and will def be coming back! Thanks again iachetti’s kitchen for everything!“
“Before I went back to college after spring break, me and my family took a stop at the Colonial Diner to get some food for diner, driving into the parking lot and getting seated pretty quickly. There were a good amount of other people in the diner, so getting a seat quickly was nice. Service wasn't anything special, but I don't really mind. The atmosphere of the diner is great, a very retro feel like it just came out of the early to mid 1900s. It was a cozy vibe. We got the 21 shrimp, breakfast burger, french toast, and some fish that was a special- sorry for forgetting the name. Really liked my breakfast burger and my sister's french toast. The shrimp was pretty basic though, and I think the fish could've been seasoned a bit better (it still tasted good!).Overall a pretty good place to drop into if you're looking for an affordable bite with a nice vibe.“
“I live in Maryland, and was up in Jersey visiting family. My girlfriend, cousin and I all had dinner on 3/23. Sam provided excellent service, and drinks recommendations. In addition, we had an 8:30 reservation, yet never felt rushed. Thanks again to Sam.Cocktails we had were the Smooth operator, steel magnolia, and the southwest cider. All 3 were amazing. Kudos to the barteam as well.We had the calamari and burrata as appetizers, both fantastic.Next time we find ourselves in Jersey, we will be back 100%.“
“Restaurant is at the former Fascino location with same chef and waitstaff (but new owner and renovated space). Food is as fantastic as ever! Very attentive service. The pastas are awesome. The pan seared sea scallops with smoked cauliflower is to die for. BYOB.“
“This is an adorable little place with the most delicious corned beef hash I have ever had. We also tried the veggie hash breakfast which was equally amazing. What a gem and fantastic find this place is. We'll be back really soon!Parking: Parking lot with a bunch more spaces behind the cafe.“
“The lobster bisque in a bread bowl was delicious. I don't know where they get their bread bowls but mine was perfect. Warm and crusty on the outside but soft and yummy on the inside. The mocktails are new since our last visit and the mojito was the best I've had so far at a restaurant. I also had the kale caesar salad with blackened grouper which I really enjoyed.“
“This a 5 star review because it hit all of the check marks. You simply cannot get the same value you will get here anywhere else.Firstly, the staff is family, and very welcoming and accommodating. They Truly care about the restaurant, its legacy and there foodA very comfortable environment with 80's/90's country music playing and a homey feeling dining room. I felt like I went my cousins for dinner and coffee. Our waitress was one of the owners and helped me select some craft brews they offered. Very generous and appreciated. The Buffalo Wings are excellent. Cooked right and in a thinner sauce with a little zing but not overpowering. Our dinners were the Godfather Trio (Veal, Shrimp Parm and Eggplan Rollantini) and the 16oz Sizzling steak. The Italian Trio was a good portion and had a nice sauce, very filling and a very reasonable price. The Steak was better than some steakhouses and "higher-end" restaurants that like to charge $40-$60 for it.The steak was PERFECT! And for a price point under $30 is one of the best bargains you can find! Flavor was amazing and cooked expertly! We finished with coffee and the Chocolate Mousse Cake & Cheesecake. Well worth it and again; a price you can't beat.We even took home dinners for work the next day. It was that good. This is a Gem and a throw back to how things used to be and should be. Where your welcomed in and treated like a guest in a home and fed a wonderful meal.***Keep in mind - Cash Only But the have anATM on site. Not a big deal.Head in and enjoy. I'll definitely be back!!!“
“IMO, this is the best diner in the Lyndhurst/ North Arlington area! The food is amazing, the staff is always welcoming and friendly, and the service is top notch. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, with a retro feel and oldies playing on the sound system.I take my family here regularly for bunch and it's always a treat for us!“
“I love love love Desiree, Gerry, Dan, and Kelly. Such great staff and energy. No matter what kind of day it is, I always feel welcomed. Thank you for being such amazing people! If you’re ever around the area, come by! You won’t regret it <3“
“My partner and I love ordering from here. We live in the neighborhood and it’s so convenient to have a place like this we can walk to for something delicious at a great price. I don’t think you could go wrong ordering anything off their menu; their pizza is the perfect Jersey pizza, their burritos are huge and taste SO fresh, and their cheeseburgers are like In N Out but WAY better quality. They also have desserts and the chocolate cake I tried was great. Love Aileen’s “
“This place is WONDERFUL. I came here with my son after spending the afternoon at Urban Air Adventure Park. We got two half box orders of boneless thighs (original crispy and soy garlic/sweet & spicy), fries, and water. The chicken took about 15-20 minutes to cook, but it was well worth the wait. My son (the pickiest eater in the world) LOVED the boneless thighs, and even the French fries. I thought everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The flavors were all fantastic, with the soy garlic being my favorite. The fries were also some of the best fries I've ever had. Super crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. The food also came with Cole slaw which was DELICIOUS, and I say this as someone who normally strays away from Cole slaw.Customer service was excellent. The woman at the front was very friendly and clear with describing the food. Their presentation was top notch also. The food was packaged beautifully and even the bag it came in was just really well designed. It was like opening a holiday gift of delicious food. I would highly recommend paying this place a visit, although you'll probably have to do take out since they have limited seating. That's probably the only downside I can think of, but they still deserve 5 stars overall“
“Have not been here in years. Service was amazing. Our server Tim was the best. The owner was so friendly and attentive. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Atmosphere was family friendly and great for all ages. Very reasonably priced. Bonus- upstairs if you want to host a party. We will definitely be going back. We highly recommend the Firehouse“
“to start off the service is amazing . staff is super helpful and accommodating making sure customers are satisfied. they have a wide selection of food, so there is always something to order for everyone, even those who are more picky than others. they also have live music and restaurant is very spacious and great for a date night, family/friend get togethers. always down to go here and i’m not even from new jersey!“
“Love this place! Great food, great drinks, service is always speedy and pleasant. Depending on what time and day you go you'll have a variety of different but interesting people to chat with, unless you just feel like people watching which is fine too.“
“My husband and I love this place. We go frequently and sit at the bar to eat and watch hockey. The food is always good and my husband enjoys the beer list, which is updated frequently. A special shout out to John and Brendan behind the bar who always make us feel welcome.“
“Always such a delight to eat at Friendly’s considering how many they closed up. Never go wrong with a Patty Melt( it was taken off the menu for a while but happy to see it back) , a fishamajig melt, or a BBQ tenders melt. Then to finish off with a sundae with the best peanut butter sauce . Our server Harvey is always the greatest . We only visit a few times a year but always remembers us and greets us with such enthusiasm. Highly recommended !“
“Atmosphere was awesome! Owner is so nice and welcoming. Food was out of this world! Had the garlic butter wings and disco fries. The fries were cheesy and so delicious! The wings were juicy and fresh. Have to say never had wings as delicious as these! Ruuun and get your wings! Yum!“
