“What is it about this place? Is it the food? Is it the service? Is it the fact that we can sit and watch the chefs make our food to perfection in mere minutes and be served within 7-10 minutes. I can’t say. But as someone who’s been all around the country and had many small owned mom and pop breakfast shops, I can say with whole confidence this is at the top of my list now! Who would’ve In a small dinky town like Gordo we could’ve found such an amazing place to eat! Absolutely perfect and coming from Florida I will miss this place every day. I’ve been 2 times in 3 days and would say it was the best decision I’ve made! Would highly recommend and anyone who would say otherwise must’ve woken up in a bad mood already!”

I've been real picky about coffee nowadays, and they made me an iced flat white exactly how I wanted it and were extremely accommodating! “This Alamogordo, NM location made our dining out a great experience. Many food services exist in this town (we've lived here since '94) however, the food quality, prompt service (thanks to Chelsea S. and Holly) and dining atmosphere was great. We tried the soup, salad and pizza. Still love the cheese sticks/Marinara sauce, fresh baked bread. You have to dip that in the olive oil and roasted garlic. Looking forward to a return trip. You will not find it priced like our fast-food places. Never put Carino's in that category. Keep up the good work.”

“I was here on Vacation. I was looking for pizza that was different than fast food. I found this gem on google. The atmosphere was charming. The server Josh was attentive and wonderful. The pizza was the best pizza I ever has. My picky eater was even raving on how good it was. I was impressed. Thank you.”

“Best Bugers and Chicken sandwiches in the World! The burgers taste like true diner style. Blake's is the only great thing about Alamogordo. Living in Ruidoso, there's only a couple of places that have ok"ish" burgers. You definitely won't regret eating here.”

“This place is absolutely amazing! The attention to detail of the interior design was actually quite shocking for a small town pizza place! Pepperoni green chile pizza was great! Italian sub was a little soggy in the best way! Cheesy fries were as expected - delicious! This is a 5/5!”

“Mr. Lance does good and is a generous soul! After waiting for BBQ for 1:45 hours in the sun and winds he noticed I was by myself he handed me my food and said go on now. He passed on kindness unexpected by me. Thank you man!!! The short ribs on the to go tray couldn't hold any more than 15 ribs and some corn on the cob, this was my Mother's Day foods! It was very good after I ate my share my dog and the neighbor's three dogs were happy, well behaved and fed. Thank you Lance for the good deed.
One more note Mr. Lance has the best music to keep the day moving. He is a good customer service man. Thanks again for your time.”

“I used to be vegan, but Garden Isle Grill made me love eating meat again! I tried the bento box, and it was packed with delicious, well-cooked meat that totally won me over. The apple pie egg roll was a perfect crispy dessert, too. The food is fresh, the portions are generous, and the mix of Hawaiian and Oriental flavors is spot on. If you’re nearby, it’s a must-try!”

“C'mon, who doesn't like A&W?? Burgers made fresh, their juicy, flavorful, hot, not sitting in a heat tray, fries are crispy and salty the way God intended, cheese curds always on point. It's been well over 15-20 years since I had this, and it brought back some joyfully chubby youngster memories. Service was friendly, and I waited roughly 4 minutes, which I'm good with for fresh fast food burgers.”

“Terrific oriental buffet. Price is very reasonable. Choices are the best around. Take out or dine in, either way is great. Low service Mark because they only have one lady doing most of the service and checkout. She works hard.

“Get the wonton soup. Pork wontons, large, handmade. In a beef broth. Take it home, you will not be able to eat it there at a table. It is the temperature of molten lava, but just right when you get home. $6.50 ”

“If You like wraps, you will love their Feta Cheese Wraps. I love the fact that you can ask for your coffee to be extra hot and they will do it. The staff always seems to be happy and is super friendly.”

“Good as you get in Alamo. They're always nice and I never see anyone standing around. The food is pretty consistent too. I'd say the only downfall is the soda machine doesn't always have enough ice. All in all, I'd say they're doing a great job.”
