“From the outside we hesitated and had 2nd thoughts, but turned back and went for it and glad we did. They did have some inside seating thats what we wanted. People were great and made you feel right at home. Our meals were excellent and we also got treated to a small cup each of what I would call chilly but better than. Definitely would go back”

“I was here on Vacation. I was looking for pizza that was different than fast food. I found this gem on google. The atmosphere was charming. The server Josh was attentive and wonderful. “For Alamogordo this place is good. If you rank vs El paso standards, this place is very basic. It's nice that you can walk into this place in Alamogordo, and be able to speak spanish. I would say they need to work on the appearance. The inside looks kind of rough and so does the kitchen area. If you peek in the back and also where they have the bread.”

“Sometimes I'm in Alamogordo and I am now taking time to visit Catalina regularly. The service is great and their menu items rock. I had their vegetarian sandwich without cheese because I am vegan and their hummus and flavor combinations were a smash hit. I also love their Soy lattes and it is nice to see a friendly face. They keep their restaurant clean and it is a great place to meet people and get together with loved ones.”

“This Alamogordo, NM location made our dining out a great experience. Many food services exist in this town (we've lived here since '94) however, the food quality, prompt service (thanks to Chelsea S. and Holly) and dining atmosphere was great. We tried the soup, salad and pizza. Still love the cheese sticks/Marinara sauce, fresh baked bread. You have to dip that in the olive oil and roasted garlic. Looking forward to a return trip. You will not find it priced like our fast-food places. Never put Carino's in that category. Keep up the good work.”

“Food was good, however I ordered the flautas, they didn't come with crema, or salsa I also ordered tamales and those were not that great, I would rate those a 5, they had flavor but they were dry, as if they are overcooked or lacked Manteca in the masa.”

“Terrific oriental buffet. Price is very reasonable. Choices are the best around. Take out or dine in, either way is great. Low service Mark because they only have one lady doing most of the service and checkout. She works hard.

“I used to be vegan, but Garden Isle Grill made me love eating meat again! I tried the bento box, and it was packed with delicious, well-cooked meat that totally won me over. The apple pie egg roll was a perfect crispy dessert, too. The food is fresh, the portions are generous, and the mix of Hawaiian and Oriental flavors is spot on. If you’re nearby, it’s a must-try!”

“We just had the nicest dinner and experience tonight at this particular chilis & I just wanted to give kudos to this team, our server and the franchise! From start to finish it was a 5 star visit. I have been to Chili’s many many times and this probably is my top experience. The food was excellent and I had to say I was shocked with how fast the service was. Damon was our server tonight, and he was polite, extremely efficient, and excellent to cater to all of our requests! The team that help with expediting the appetizers and meals was quick, polite and helpful. We ordered the ribs and the were made to perfection- just total satisfaction all the way. This team is a great crew and a great representation of quality service and teamwork. 5 stars”

“The Alamo Grill is a mellow homey atmosphere. The staff friendly and attentive but not overbearing. I wasn’t forgotten about :). Then theres the food. I ordered the steak and eggs….medium rare and over easy. I have eaten in many restaurants and both of those requests seem difficult to get right…not here! Everything was cooked to perfection. Crispy, I say CRISPY hash browns, not those sad little piles of shredded white mush. They are a breakfast spot (7-2) but the menu is not all breakfast fare. When I pulled into the lot there were 4 vehicles, when I left the parking lot was almost full! Obviously a local favorite. If you are in Alamogordo look up the Alamo pancake and steakhouse grill…you won’t be sorry.
The cost of my meal was very fair and easier on my wallet than many other places I have been to recently! Like I said, if you’re going to be in the area…sit down and enjoy an affordable delicious meal!!”

“Best Bugers and Chicken sandwiches in the World! The burgers taste like true diner style. Blake's is the only great thing about Alamogordo. Living in Ruidoso, there's only a couple of places that have ok"ish" burgers. You definitely won't regret eating here.”

“C'mon, who doesn't like A&W?? Burgers made fresh, their juicy, flavorful, hot, not sitting in a heat tray, fries are crispy and salty the way God intended, cheese curds always on point. It's been well over 15-20 years since I had this, and it brought back some joyfully chubby youngster memories. Service was friendly, and I waited roughly 4 minutes, which I'm good with for fresh fast food burgers.”
