“I ordered 6 strawberry cup cakes for a birthday celebration. The cakes were dense and delicious. The strawberry buttercream icing was so rich. The strawberry center in the cakes blended so nicely. Holly was so kind, patient, and helpful. Great value! Great taste!“

“This is hands down our favorite restaurant in Taos. After dozens of trips down here we have been lucky to eat at many restaurants here. Every dinner we have had at Aji is melt in your mouth good. We have had the soups, ceviches, salads, empanadas, yuca fries, trout, salmon, duck, and desserts. We have loved everything!! Also the cocktails are incredible our go to is the pisco sour and old fashion. The space is cozy and welcoming. Thank for you for the most unforgettable meals! “We ordered all across the board ...new Mexican and I got the fish and chips!!! Wow!!! I was blown away and not just because I had a hankering for fish n chips!!! I grew up in the mid West where fish fry Fridays are a thing! Flaky fish, fluffy batter, but not too much...two kinds of tartar sauce, one very new Mexican and one traditional and *gasp* malt vinegar!!!! Meaty fries and for ketchup lovers, even without asking on our to go order we were given eight packets!!!! We also had the Christmas Chile enchiladas ( if youre not newexican this means red and green chiles and that's not jalapeños and bell peppers) we had chimichchangas that were meaty and crispy and hadba bit of chew... plenty of sides with our plates! Everything tasted fresh and yummy! I recommend these hard working lovelies for a pit stop or air down“

“Drip coffee tastes watered down. It’s not very diluted but it doesn’t seem strong. Place is pretty dark without a lot of natural light in the morning, but plenty outdoor seating. Decor is cute. People come here for a light breakfast/lunch.“

“Jalapenos was the first place I visited on a trip four years ago to Taos. I'd just rolled in from visiting the Great Sand Dunes NP and was tired and hungry. The fish tacos hit the spot and looked so good on the plate that I took pictures.The service was so welcoming - despite the fact that I was probably wearing some of the sand from the dunes.To this day, I'm trying to recreate these fish tacos here in Louisville and can't wait to visit Taos and Jalapenos again. You know a restaurant is good when you still dream of it years after you visit.“

The Spanish Tortilla was delicious and the French Toast was a treat. “We stumbled upon this place around breakfast time, and godDAMN was that a win! This is the kind of place with pastries that have a cult following and will sell out if you don't get there early. Apparently we just missed some kind of legendary sausage roll, but we got one of the last garlic-herb-cheese-onion things and it was fucking MAGICAL. We also got the hummingbird nest and the mint-creme-filled thing. Both were lovely. Everyone there is friendly and very enthusiastic. It's just a really great place. Note: we didn't get to try this because we didn't know it was an option, but... they have avocado toast with CANDIED BACON. Someone please get one on my behalf and SAVOR THAT SHIT.“

“This place was amazing!!! Interesting menu offerings, good happy hour, great cocktails, fantastic service and a very eclectic wine list. You can even order bottles from the attached wine shop. I loved the house margarita, asparagus soup, cheese plate, lamb chops and young cauliflower. Delicious! I only wish I had more room for dessert.“

“Amazing place for live music outdoors with great international bands. This was our first time going to eat. Cool interior space and lots of outdoor tables for warmer weather. 16 options of beers. Good bar food - like burgers and sweet potato fries - but not many choices. It would be great if there a few more items to choose from.“

“My husband and I enjoyed a superb dinner on the patio at Martyrs Steakhouse. The white fish special w rice pilaf was outstanding as was the steak. We shared a delicious cheesecake for dessert. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. In addition, our pup was traveling with us and was graciously welcomed and very comfortable on the patio. She was immediately given a bowl of water. The patio is quite large and comfortable. In addition, there are heaters available if needed. We will definitely be back for another outstanding meal on our return to Taos.“

“Karaoke Thursdays 9:00 pm to close!I want to love this place, settle in become a regular. I just can't. First, the servers and bar tenders are not welcoming, helpful, ot timely (even when they're slow). Second, the prices! Ouch, definitely not a place for locals to hang out for a few drinks unless they're ready to spend $60 or more on a couple rounds.“

“Had a good meal hear on our second night in Taos. ( my family has eaten at other Heritage properties) The food was good I had the steak and my wife had the pasta. Both were delicious and the desert was pretty phenomenal get the Smore! Service was fine and probably my only complaint was our waitress was pleasant but overall friendly and with so few people not as attentive as expected. I actually had to get up and get my own drink when wanted to what whiskeys they had. I would have figured she could have either suggested one or restaurant should make a list of what they have. I feel if I have to get up and look myself then that takes away from the experience. I really enjoyed the meal and again the food is good . So this complaint is really just for constructive criticism“

“Lets just say we rolled into town hungry for a good burger and vibes. This place didn’t disappoint. Our family of 4 sat in a cozy corner and looked out at Toas amazing rolling hills of a view. Our cups never ran empty and our spoil bratty children left with togo cups of lemon-aid and an Ice cream cone filled with something they quote, “Worth all its hype.” I ate both scoops of my chocolate lava cake with no shame!Worthy of a return. 5 Star*****Oh we all got bison burgers. “We ordered the Huevos Rancheros (my Husband) and I had the Chilaquiles...we got them to go...they are served with fried eggs (yay!) Rather than scrambled which is super refreshing! I do think that if you asked for scrambled they would do it. Their fried potatoes are chunky and super fluffy...there is quite enough of both red and green Chile to dunk potatoes as well as bathe the eggs and tortillas ( home fried flour chips for the Chilaquiles and corn tortillas for the base of the Huevos Rancheros) they also come with a side of excellent refried beans...the portions are huge and their prices are within anyone's reach...Home style NM food! Previously I had only eaten their lunch and dinner dishes (which are also fabulous) but this was our first foray into breakfast and we will be back for more!!!! “I forgot that restaurants and most things close down "early" in New Mexico. I am glad that I am on the Spanish timeline for food, because The Burger Stand was my last resort for a meal. Boy, was I glad that I am a meal procrastinator. Great burger. An array of beers on tap. Blues music overhead. The staff was warm and welcoming. If I am ever back on Taos, I will seek it out.“
