Hey, it is a very small town. But the emphasis is on quality of prep and taste. Chicken sanders and ribs are my favorite. Do try the sandwiches. I suspect you will be satisfied. ENJOY!!!Parking: Many spots for parking.
I had a perfectly cooked and utterly delicious burger stacked high with fresh lettuce and tomato, green chile and melted cheese. Also ordered a side of beans which were also particularly good and a provided me with energy until late into the night. If you are hungry in Cuba you don’t have a lot of choices- so pull in, meet a dog, and enjoy a delicious home cooked meal at Mel’s.Vegetarian options also include mac n cheese, cole slaw and potatoes. Incredible value to boot.

This is one of those unassuming little roadside stops that ends up having delicious food. The first time I visited was purely by chance during a raid trip back from Oregon. Now, my teenage boys and I have made it a new student driver's rite of passage to make the hour and 15 min drive out to Cuba for lunch at Mel's. Very reasonably priced, the staff have always been welcoming and friendly and the food puts all the fast food chicken to shame.
