We really enjoyed our meal at Pepper Pot. My husband had the steak - it was a little tough but well seasoned and medium rare, very tasty. I had the combo plate with Enchiladas (one red, one green, both delicious), one taco (ok), one chili relleno (a little tough but tasty), and rice and beans (fantastic). Good food, and alright place. Many tables were full of plates and cups from customers. Out of several table options, only one wasn't dirty. They need to step on on table bussing. But, the food was good, and reasonable ? overall, I liked it.

I always make a point of stopping at the Pepper Pot anytime I drive through Hatch, NM. Why? Because of the delicious authentic New Mexican food, cute outdoor patio dinning, and friendly service. This trip I ordered the steak and enchiladas for lunch and was amazed at the quantity and quality of the steak in particular—cooked just right and oh so flavorful. I can’t wait for my next trip there!
