“THE BEST QUESATACOS AND BIRRIA TACOS. ROASTED ONIONS AND TORED CHILLIES, ROASTED MEAT WITH FRIES FULL OF CHEESE. THE PRICE IS UNBEATABLE FOR THE AMOUNT OF FOOD THEY SERVE. THE CASHIER VERY KIND AND CORDIAL, I LOVE HIS ATTENTION. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS “
“Authentic Mexican Tacos. Lobo Taco has delicious food. The tacos are an absolute delight! The combination of flavorful fillings, soft tortillas, and various toppings creates a burst of deliciousness in every bite. Whether it's the classic carne asada, birria, or queso, every taco was delicious. The restaurant is a causal restaurant and they make you feel like family. Give Lobo Taco a try, and you'll understand why they have become some of the best authentic Mexican tacos in Albuquerque!“
“Stopped at La Reforma during a business trip and came away very impressed. Great food, drinks and vibes. Service was also outstanding. Even during peak hours my waitress was very attentive. The food was perfect. Had the carne asada torta and it was probably one of the best ones I’ve ever had (I’ve had many). Perfectly cooked and very filling. Those chefs know what they’re doing. Topped it off with a Golden West IPA - delicious. Can’t wait to be return!“
“Love this place for their Dogos! Totally crave-able!!! Can't go wrong with a bacon wrapped hot dog smothered with sour cream, ketchup, grilled onions and a hot sauce that makes your mouth tingle. Pair this with their Alegre style french fries, which is loaded fries of lettuce, cheese, tomato, cilantro, onion, salsa and your choice of protein. I liked the Al pastor better than the carne asada.“
“First time here! Atmosphere was great. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by the person in front and he had a friendly smile. I was indecisive on what to order and he gave me recommendations to what I should have. The food was amazing and was taken to the table I was sitting at. Definitely going to come back and try other stuff off of the menu.“
“My family and I tried eating here but had a bad experience the first time around. Management reached out to me and made things right. Took my family and the food was amazing. We really enjoyed the taco plate and birria ramen. Over all we have found a new taco spot and I recommend everyone to try it.“
“My new favorite taco spot! I tried it tonight for the first time. I'm new to New Mexico and had to see what the buzz was all about, Tapntaco was definitely off the charts! The staff was super friendly too. Looking forward to coming back again and again.“
“I didn't even know this place existed until I passed it on the road today. If you like fresh ingredients and a lot of flavor then this place is for you. I got the vegetarian burrito and it had cilantro, beans, cheese, spanish rice, avocado, and even potatoes I think. They also gave me an avocado crema on the side which was reallly good and fresh, not like the cheap watered down kind you get at most places. My only complaint is that the bottom wasn't closed up so it was kinda messy to eat, as you can see in the picture. But it didn't matter because it's probably the best Mexican food I've tried in Albuquerque so far, I think everyone should try it!“
“These birria tacos are among the best I've had, would recommend them to everyone! The meat was juicy and flavorful, tortillas were crispy and tasty with the red grease, consomme was absolutely delicious you can tell they use the juice from the boil not just bullion like most places do and the salsa was spicy but flavorful too. Great food from great people!“
“If you are looking for Mexican food more reminiscent of California/Tijuana style, this is the place. Highly recommend it.The carne asada fries and California burrito are the best that I've had in Albuquerque. The carne asada is well seasoned, and the fries are crispy. There is just the right amount of guacamole, sour cream, and cheese. The truck is usually fairly busy every time I stop by in the evening, even later at night, but food is cooked pretty fast.“
“Place is awesome. Outstanding music. Great Green chile cheeseburger (smashburger) and barrio tacos (similar to birria tacos). Our server Alivia was awesome. Rest of the staff was were also very friendly. Definitely coming back to this place again.“
“This place is small but AMAZING! I got the Birria tacos and they tasted so good! The customer service was also excellent, He was super respectful and nice. I also got the Piña Fresca and it was sweet and tasty! I will be ordering here again!“
“Went here with my boyfriend today. I got a burger, he got carne asada tacos. I LOVED the cheeseburger and fries. They were shockingly good, and one of the best burger/fries combos I've had locally. My boyfriend says the tacos were "some of the best" he's ever had. He liked them enough to go out of his way to compliment the chef. Easily the best place to eat at within Cottonwood Mall!“
“The price tag is nothing compared to what you're getting, delicious food, drinks and fun drag show. He has different events from time to time, instagram is the best place to see what is scheduled next.Vegetarian options: Mushroom tacosDietary restrictions: Gluten free options, dairy free options“
“Get in the car and get yourself a plate of these delectable tacos! We messaged their Fb page to find their current location in Los Ranchos. They're in a sunny location with tables out front. The staff are sweet and shared their recommendations. We ordered twice the amount and when we got it back to our family, they demolished everything in 15 mins. We will be back regularly!“
“Wasn't sure about the area and this little hole in the wall is to die for! Clean, friendly and these birria tacos and consome have ruined me for anywhere else. Very busy on a typical taco Tuesday and fast service. Make it a must. We were traveling thru from Arizona to Texas and just took a chance on a few other yelp reviews. Perfection!“
“The Barbacoa tacos were amazing! We also tried the elote en vaso, and that was tasty too! The "hot" is pretty hot... so if you're sensitive to spice get mild! Their salsas were very tasty as well! Everyone was super friendly. Would definitely recommend!“
“These tacos al pastor made my little Chicago-Mexa heart sing. They have a trompo going and they add just the right amount of piña to balance out the crispy fat on the al pastor. It’s four tacos to an order and you can mix but I would go with just pastor and an asada next time. The green salsa is good and the red salsa is great.Best al pastor tacos I’ve tasted in Albuquerque so far. The folks who run the truck were super nice.“
“This place is a wonderful place and I heard they're closing but I hope they don't because if you want original New Mexico food and some red chili, that's wonderful please come to this place. Please stop by here get some food.“
“It took me way too long to get down to the "new" location. Not my favorite area and no brewery next door. But I missed the burgers at the old location. It's unfortunate the burgers disappeared soon after the Dia de los Takos days. Hopefully they'll be back one day. But glad I finally went. I had switched my favorite burger place, but I guess it's changing back to the Tako Ten burger. Well worth the bit of extra drive.Oh and the best tacos in town too. I guess I just assumed that was a given.“
“highly recommend 5* very nice looking bar/restaurant family friendly went in on karaoke night and every one was all into it great singers and DJ also Ariel was our server she did an amazing job will come again for sure also did I mention 40 taps of beer can't beat that“
“I got the Carne Asada Tacos. The woman who greeted me was very friendly! I was surprised to hear the tacos were only $10! They add grilled onions and a pepper which was a nice touch. They gave me two 1/4 pieces of lime so I was able to really add that lime flavor. They don’t hold back on toppings either. This place gave me more meat, cilantro and fresh onion that no other taco truck has given me. Their red salsa was surprisingly spicy! Highly recommend. I’ll try their Carnitas tomorrow!“
“My house was craving Birria tacos something fierce and we had just missed closing time at our usual local place, dang! So...SOME people in my family aren't very good at practicing patience, and after a bit of back and forth, I decided to trek WAY out to the east side from Rio Rancho to check out Tacos la Mordida...Wow! From the time I walked up to order, I knew it was going to be good...once I got a feel for my surroundings, I realized the parking area around the food truck looks like Good Friday at Walmart. Lots of people means good food! The person who took my order explained everything and was super helpful and friendly. Birria tacos with consommé, A+! Asada Gringa, A+! So many delicious flavors and the tacos still had crispiness after our trip home! The green and red sauces that come with everything is crazy good! Price for everything I ordered was so reasonable, and he mentioned that the consommé is like a meal in itself, and no doubt it is. So much meat, you could eat it alone and be full. Great place and so glad we made the 30 mile round-trip! Love the business hours, will be back again!“
“I have been thoroughly pleased with the quality of food here and it is very reasonably priced. I think I have tried the traditional tacos, quesobirria tacos, and the sopa birria. Their birria is superior, chili flavor is excellent, and spicy sauce provided on the side to add heat at your own pace.“
“Good food, good service. Look how clea. That truck is! I have never seen such a ckean food truck in my life! This is my family favorite. They stay open late too. We go out all the time for the tacos asada. Authentic street tacos ? ? because who wants to cook when u work all day. You can jyst come grab these tacos and go home, relax.“
“Had lunch here on a Wednesday a couple of weeks ago with eight friends. Service was very friendly. The place is huge. Nice ambience. We were the only patrons in the place at the time of our gathering. I must say, we were all extremely pleased with our food. Couple of us had the burgers and they were cooked to perfection. The buns were grilled toasty on the outside soft on the inside. Same for the fries very crisp on the outside and very soft on the inside. One would think that doing a burger Justice is easy but not so much so a lot of the time. We will be back. Also, the drinks were nicely constructed as well.“
“I absolutely loved my meal at NewMex-a-que! It's so evident that the chef has a talent for BBQ by their tender, smoky meats as well as a solid respect for the art and flavor of New Mexican cuisine. This fusion is to die for! The staff is super friendly and accommodating to my toddler. Can't wait to eat this food again.“
“Was a great experience for hubby Juan and I. Bought some Pan Dulce and Bolillos fir sister n law. We celebrated a Mass for sister Rita and brother Tony. Sis Helen had a reception at her house snd everyone enjoyed the bread an Pan Dulce. Thanks El Dorado Bakery.“
“Delicious salsa and the carne asada tacos were great. Birria tacos weren't my favorite ever but still decent. The service workers were attentive and very friendly. The salsa bar... Delicious stuff there. Will be back. Also the prices were good,“
