“Had been driving by this hole in the wall place for months and finally made it in. I had the Birria Tacos based on the positive reviews on Yelp and was not disappointed - it comes with an excellent soup and crispy cheesy tacos. I plan to go back many times. Friendly staff. Canned or bottled sodas available. Not a ton of seating but it's more spacious than it looks from the outside.“
“Love this place for their Dogos! Totally crave-able!!! Can't go wrong with a bacon wrapped hot dog smothered with sour cream, ketchup, grilled onions and a hot sauce that makes your mouth tingle. Pair this with their Alegre style french fries, which is loaded fries of lettuce, cheese, tomato, cilantro, onion, salsa and your choice of protein. I liked the Al pastor better than the carne asada.“
“I didn't even know this place existed until I passed it on the road today. If you like fresh ingredients and a lot of flavor then this place is for you. I got the vegetarian burrito and it had cilantro, beans, cheese, spanish rice, avocado, and even potatoes I think. They also gave me an avocado crema on the side which was reallly good and fresh, not like the cheap watered down kind you get at most places. My only complaint is that the bottom wasn't closed up so it was kinda messy to eat, as you can see in the picture. But it didn't matter because it's probably the best Mexican food I've tried in Albuquerque so far, I think everyone should try it!“
“My husband Paul and I popped in to try it out. We had fish taco, Baja Shrimp taco and a Green Street taco. All 3 were delicious but my personal favorite is the Baja Shrimp. Paul preferred the Fish Taco. Robert eas very helpful in our selection and he took the time to follow up with us at our table to ensure we were satisfied with our selections. Thanks Robert! We will most definitely be back soon!!“
“My family and I tried eating here but had a bad experience the first time around. Management reached out to me and made things right. Took my family and the food was amazing. We really enjoyed the taco plate and birria ramen. Over all we have found a new taco spot and I recommend everyone to try it.“
“If you are looking for Mexican food more reminiscent of California/Tijuana style, this is the place. Highly recommend it.The carne asada fries and California burrito are the best that I've had in Albuquerque. The carne asada is well seasoned, and the fries are crispy. There is just the right amount of guacamole, sour cream, and cheese. The truck is usually fairly busy every time I stop by in the evening, even later at night, but food is cooked pretty fast.“
“I've heard about the Red Taco Shop several times now and decided to finally make the drive over to Paradise and Unser to try it. The menu is just big enough for a good variety and with the Grand Slam Plate, you get one of each! Pricing is good, service is fast and friendly and, of course, the food was excellent! Even though I went with the tacos, it's birria ramen next time because I'll be back!“
“Place is awesome. Outstanding music. Great Green chile cheeseburger (smashburger) and barrio tacos (similar to birria tacos). Our server Alivia was awesome. Rest of the staff was were also very friendly. Definitely coming back to this place again.“
“This place is small but AMAZING! I got the Birria tacos and they tasted so good! The customer service was also excellent, He was super respectful and nice. I also got the Piña Fresca and it was sweet and tasty! I will be ordering here again!“
“The price tag is nothing compared to what you're getting, delicious food, drinks and fun drag show. He has different events from time to time, instagram is the best place to see what is scheduled next.Vegetarian options: Mushroom tacosDietary restrictions: Gluten free options, dairy free options“
“Get in the car and get yourself a plate of these delectable tacos! We messaged their Fb page to find their current location in Los Ranchos. They're in a sunny location with tables out front. The staff are sweet and shared their recommendations. We ordered twice the amount and when we got it back to our family, they demolished everything in 15 mins. We will be back regularly!“
“We came to the mall today at around 4-4:30pm to buy a few things and decided to grab something to eat in the food court. We ended up getting something from Fusion Tacos ? because of the lovely worker at the cash register. She greeted us with a smile and urged us to try the food their today which we took her advice and we ended up loving it! She was soooooo nice and was also very helpful in offering recommendations on what to eat. Super professional and fast service.I would come back again to eat but also for their amazing service!!“
“These tacos al pastor made my little Chicago-Mexa heart sing. They have a trompo going and they add just the right amount of piña to balance out the crispy fat on the al pastor. It’s four tacos to an order and you can mix but I would go with just pastor and an asada next time. The green salsa is good and the red salsa is great.Best al pastor tacos I’ve tasted in Albuquerque so far. The folks who run the truck were super nice.“
“This place is a wonderful place and I heard they're closing but I hope they don't because if you want original New Mexico food and some red chili, that's wonderful please come to this place. Please stop by here get some food.“
“It took me way too long to get down to the "new" location. Not my favorite area and no brewery next door. But I missed the burgers at the old location. It's unfortunate the burgers disappeared soon after the Dia de los Takos days. Hopefully they'll be back one day. But glad I finally went. I had switched my favorite burger place, but I guess it's changing back to the Tako Ten burger. Well worth the bit of extra drive.Oh and the best tacos in town too. I guess I just assumed that was a given.“
“My house was craving Birria tacos something fierce and we had just missed closing time at our usual local place, dang! So...SOME people in my family aren't very good at practicing patience, and after a bit of back and forth, I decided to trek WAY out to the east side from Rio Rancho to check out Tacos la Mordida...Wow! From the time I walked up to order, I knew it was going to be good...once I got a feel for my surroundings, I realized the parking area around the food truck looks like Good Friday at Walmart. Lots of people means good food! The person who took my order explained everything and was super helpful and friendly. Birria tacos with consommé, A+! Asada Gringa, A+! So many delicious flavors and the tacos still had crispiness after our trip home! The green and red sauces that come with everything is crazy good! Price for everything I ordered was so reasonable, and he mentioned that the consommé is like a meal in itself, and no doubt it is. So much meat, you could eat it alone and be full. Great place and so glad we made the 30 mile round-trip! Love the business hours, will be back again!“
“I got the Carne Asada Tacos. The woman who greeted me was very friendly! I was surprised to hear the tacos were only $10! They add grilled onions and a pepper which was a nice touch. They gave me two 1/4 pieces of lime so I was able to really add that lime flavor. They don’t hold back on toppings either. This place gave me more meat, cilantro and fresh onion that no other taco truck has given me. Their red salsa was surprisingly spicy! Highly recommend. I’ll try their Carnitas tomorrow!“
“Decided to try for breakfast. The waitress was kind and helpful. Great atmosphere. The coffee was tasty strong. The smothered burrito was huge. Red chili was good. Would definitely recommend and will be going back to check out if they have drink ware with QR codes. Owners are also very nice.“
“Tako Ten delivered a fantastic taco experience. The tacos were flavorful, with a perfect balance of ingredients that showcased their culinary expertise. What impressed me equally was the swift service – efficient without compromising on quality. Tako Ten has managed to merge great taste with fast service, making it a standout choice for anyone craving delicious tacos in a hurry.“
“I have been thoroughly pleased with the quality of food here and it is very reasonably priced. I think I have tried the traditional tacos, quesobirria tacos, and the sopa birria. Their birria is superior, chili flavor is excellent, and spicy sauce provided on the side to add heat at your own pace.“
“My girlfriend loves this truck. They are parked close by her place and we were in the mood for some tacos. We got tacos, a quesadilla, rice and beans and sodas. We had different types of tacos like Birria with consome and steak and chicken and I got a chicken quesadilla. The service was also great as it was cold outside last night, but they gave us little beepers to notify us when the food was ready so we could just wait in the truck or car. Once the food was ready the beeper went off and you go and pick up the food. This was a nice experience and definitely one I wouldn't mind trying again. The truck also featured the different types of food that they offer in case you wanted to take a look or you can visit their website for the menu. I liked that they had such a wide variety of options to choose from.“
“Good food, good service. Look how clea. That truck is! I have never seen such a ckean food truck in my life! This is my family favorite. They stay open late too. We go out all the time for the tacos asada. Authentic street tacos ? ? because who wants to cook when u work all day. You can jyst come grab these tacos and go home, relax.“
“Had lunch here on a Wednesday a couple of weeks ago with eight friends. Service was very friendly. The place is huge. Nice ambience. We were the only patrons in the place at the time of our gathering. I must say, we were all extremely pleased with our food. Couple of us had the burgers and they were cooked to perfection. The buns were grilled toasty on the outside soft on the inside. Same for the fries very crisp on the outside and very soft on the inside. One would think that doing a burger Justice is easy but not so much so a lot of the time. We will be back. Also, the drinks were nicely constructed as well.“
“I absolutely loved my meal at NewMex-a-que! It's so evident that the chef has a talent for BBQ by their tender, smoky meats as well as a solid respect for the art and flavor of New Mexican cuisine. This fusion is to die for! The staff is super friendly and accommodating to my toddler. Can't wait to eat this food again.“
“Great pastries, pan , small breakfast and dinner menu but extremely authentic. Prices very reasonable..food is excellent and served hot. Coffee is exceptional and free refills. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. It is an experience worth trying and will be definitely returning. The owner Mr Diablo is very dedicated to providing excellence and customer service. We will be returning!!“
“Stopped at La Reforma during a business trip and came away very impressed. Great food, drinks and vibes. Service was also outstanding. Even during peak hours my waitress was very attentive. The food was perfect. Had the carne asada torta and it was probably one of the best ones I’ve ever had (I’ve had many). Perfectly cooked and very filling. Those chefs know what they’re doing. Topped it off with a Golden West IPA - delicious. Can’t wait to be return!“
