“This place has the best molé I’ve ever had. The recipes are from the owner’s late grandmother and are as authentic as it gets. I had the pibil enchiladas Christmas style, queso, and tres leches cake. All of it was rich in flavor and beyond satisfying. Plus the prices are fair, which is extraordinary given how delicious everything was!“
“N/A food, hence 0 stars.Unique Pottery Shop that offers exquisit offerings, an area & tools w/ instruction to make your own, and craft cocktail (and espresso).Just what we needed after the road trip to Santa Fe, and taking in the Georgia O'Keefe Museum.Limited offerings, but they distill their own... so why expect single malt?Nice coctails, served in ceramics.Parking in Santa Fe is tighter than many other cities.“
“Ambiance was nice. Our server was pretty attentive. Asked him what he recommended for a drink and we got the spiced Sangria. We went right before dinner and the food came out fast! Meaning, we ordered the waffle nachos with brisket and so good. Just a slight kick of spicy. Before we could finish the nachos the food came out, so there was no pause in eating! I ordered the bbq shrimp pasta as many kept saying it was good. It was good but not something I would tell people "they had to try." My friend got the half chicken. She liked it. Did mention the chicken was a little dry but didn't mind. The calabasitas were a little bland but ok. We ordered dessert, I ordered the brownie- pretty good. I didn't notice that it was gluten free and when I went to eat the brownie, it was falling apart. Keep that in mind when you order. Friend ordered the carmel Piñon ice cream. She said tasted like coffee and said it was good.“
“This place was fantastic. There was a long wait but we got lucky because someone canceled. We had the tamale plate and chicken enchiladas with red sauce. It was all top notch. Our server was also fantastic. We will definitely be back again.“
“Excellent food served by wonderful staff who makes you feel welcome and relaxed. I'm still dreaming about the butter-soft filet mignon and the best fries I've had in a very long time. They also have interesting wine-by-the-glass selections. The dining room is spacious, with tables set far apart (in a good way), and the light is warm and softly subdued. A very nice place for a very nice meal.“
“This place is AMAZING! I google for wine bar and the pictures drew me in, but it is even nicer IRL! The service was impeccable, the wines were excellent, and the food was incredible. Try the Deconstructed Gnocchi with any of the wines, you will be blown away. The whole experience was truly top notch. Even the music was perfect, well curated. Everything about this place was great! It is fairly new, so I hope it makes it and believe it will based on my experience. Give it a try today!“
“Came by on Saturday around 6pm and had a few seats open for my husband and me. The server / bartender was so passionate, helpful and shared lots of tips given our tastes. We ended up having the kiwi drink (with fresh kiwi!), the whiskey sour and the white sage drink. They were all delicious and the kiwi and sage drinks were unique, which we are all about! This seems like the kind of place I'd love being a local at if we lived in Santa Fe! Plenty of comfy seats and very relaxed atmosphere. Totally my jam!!“
“We visited The Compound last week with my wife for a special dinner after visiting my in-laws in Santa Fe.For our first course we ordered the the pea tortallini with Lobster and the citrus endive salad with anchoives. I was initially nervous about ordering seafood as we are in NM and not within striking distance of an ocean. But both dishes were delicious, fresh, and prepared well. We also ordered their James Beard award winning Mushroom and Polenta. It was light, savory, a fun addition to the other dishes we already ordered. For our second course we had the Rack of Lamb and Beef Tenderloin. Both dishes were tender and accompanies with a delicious sauce and vegetable pairing.Desert was my favorite. We ordered the Hazelnut Butter Finger and the Strawberry Napoleon. We hope to visit again soon.“
“Very nice place. Delicious beer. Always friendly and helpful/knowledgeable bartenders. Let them know if you're wanting to try something new. I'm so glad to have a lovely place here on the south side. I definitely recommend The Drinkery.“
“Holy Mole!!! I just had a spiritual experience! The holiest of moles. There's the Beatitudes, and then there's mole. It forgives all sins... even the extra glass of wine. From the first bite it wrapped its silky warmth around me like a soft blanket and whispered "It's gonna be ok." I usually get the filet when I come to Dinner For Two and they are some of the best I've ever had but I'm so glad this time I strayed from the steak and narrow and saw the light of this mole. Thank the sweet baby Jesus!“
“Sazon was a roller coaster - see below for rated list of what we ate and drank. I STRONGLY recommend sticking to the chef recommended dishes/specials. My main course (stuffed eggplant) and dessert (princesa) were extremely disappointing. Meanwhile, my fiance ordered the fish of the day with two moles and it was the best meal of the trip for him. As for service, our waiter was an absolute GEM, so personable and friendly!- Mole sampler: 10/10 (Magical!)- Cochata cocktail: 9/10 (Delicious)- Temiqui cocktail: 9/10 (Delicious)- Sangria Blanco: 8/10 (Good)- Prickly pear mocktail: 5/10 (Nothing special, very sweet, limited flavors)- Xochimilco tacos: 10/10 (Magical, unique)- Soap de Amor: 10/10 (Magical, intriguing combo of ingredients!)- Berenjena (stuffed eggplant): 4/10 (Lacking in flavor and disappointing. The swirl of sauce on the side was good and did it's best to carry the dish but wasn't enough.)- Fish of the day: 10/10 (sea bass, magical, cooked to perfection, with 2 different moles)- Dolce Sinfonia: 10/10 (magical experience and combo of flavors!)- 0 (I enjoy eating unsweetened whipped cream and berries for dessert, however - the cream and pastry had zero sweetness or flavor and the textures weren't great together. Confusing, as though sugar was forgotten. Berries were sweet but not in a way that carried the plain clotted cream and pastry).“
