“The Pantry is such a cozy and yummy spot for breakfast, in our case. I had the stuffed French toast which was absolutely delicious. The creamy filling paired perfectly with the strawberry topping and the toast itself was just right. I’ve never had French toast done up in such a way before and now I’m going to be looking for a place closer to home where I can get the same. Service was great and attentive despite a packed house.“
“This place has the best molé I’ve ever had. The recipes are from the owner’s late grandmother and are as authentic as it gets. I had the pibil enchiladas Christmas style, queso, and tres leches cake. All of it was rich in flavor and beyond satisfying. Plus the prices are fair, which is extraordinary given how delicious everything was!“
“We brought our family here to eat because we heard it was good. Oh my goodness.. from the greeting at the front door until we finished.. this dining experience was the best! The food was delicious, fresh and the presentation was gorgeous! The server was friendly, attentive and didn’t make one mistake despite several specific requests. She was on point at every single interval. I’m so glad we chose this cafe!“
“Every bit of 5 stars, I’d give 10 if I could! The BEST breakfast burrito of my entire life, without a doubt! The best Chile ever and what Chile is SUPPOSED to taste like and I’ve been all over the state the past couple months and tried plenty! The service is kind, quick and on top of things and the atmosphere is totally laid back and relaxed! Also the bathroom is super clean and one of the nicest I’ve seen in any restaurant! A little pricey but definitely worth the price if you’re willing to spend it and can!“
“All I can say is, wow. The food was phenomenal. My husband got the burrito and I got the chicken enchiladas with Christmas on the side (red chili sauce and green chili sauce), we shared the chips and salsa. And to our surprise, Sopapillas came with the meal. We’d never had a one before and they were life changing! Luckily we eat dinner early so we didn’t have to wait to be seated. When we left, the line was out the door. I could happily eat my way through the entire menu if we had more time. The staff was friendly and the food was fresh. I highly recommend Tomasita’s I’d you’re in Santa Fe.“
“Solid A+ diner. The stuffed sopaipillas are excellent, the servers are cheerful and friendly, and the regular side sopaipillas are perfect.Vegetarian options: The veggie stuffed sopaipilla got a rave review from the vegetarian in our group.“
“So, this place was recommended so we decide to try it for lunch. The cost leaves a lot to be desired. It was $15 for a grilled cheese. My wife and son did not care for their meals. It was $50 for 3 to have lunch. While the service was not horrible, it was not great either. They did not have assigned tables, so the servers did not know who was gonna help us and had 3 people trying to take our order, and our water was not refilled.“
“Went for an early dinner, had to wait 45 minutes to be seated, but luckily we had drinks while we waited. Once seated the young waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food was pretty good, chili hot n spicy. The guacamole was very good as well.“
“Real New Mexican dining without any of the pretensions. Welcoming owner and staff, freshly prepared and delicious meals and reasonable prices. Old motel next door would make one very erroneously think this was somehow connected. We never visit Santa Fe without a meal at Pecos Trail.“
“AMAZING Breakfast! Was visiting Santa Fe and was craving some Chilaquiles. Was so happy to see that The Pantry Rio serves them, and let me tell you... WOW! Not only were the chilaquiles excellent but all components on the plate were spot on with flavor! The beans, the potatoes, the amazing chile (Both red and green - Christmas style!) Cant wait to be back at Santa Fe to eat there again!! Thank you for making delicious food!“
“The food was great. The service was very friendly. We had a long drive and were looking for something casual, fast, good and not fancy or expensive and Cafe Castros met all requirements. We will eat here again the next time we're in Sana Fe.“
“BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO IN SANTA FE!! Made fresh and HUGE- very generous portion, perfectly balanced mixture. We got ours vegetarian- no meat, and it was delicious. (And super affordable- $5!)The guy running it was so kind, friendly and made our morning. He has a board with quotes from Mother Theresa and you can tell he is the kind of guy that walks the walk. There were a few vegetarian tacos ($2 each- a steal) that sounded SO good and unwise- beets and sweet potatoes- I wish we could have tried! We discovered this place on our way out of town, but now I want to come back to Santa Fe just to eat here again!“
“I was super impressed to find good Caribbean food in the middle of new Mexico. Fish tacos, harrisa fries and plantains were great! I was disappointed with the lack of flavor in the beans and rice until I found out that if you mix it with the curry sauce that comes with the plantains, it's amazing!“
“This place was fantastic. There was a long wait but we got lucky because someone canceled. We had the tamale plate and chicken enchiladas with red sauce. It was all top notch. Our server was also fantastic. We will definitely be back again.“
“Casa Bonita now occupies the wonderful setting that was formerly the Second Street Brewery. One of the best outdoor dining areas in town. The train tracks are just a few feet away, and it's fun when the Rail Runner comes by. Our first time there. Enchiladas were very good, medium spicy red chile. Free chips with excellent salsa. The menu looks good and is varied. New Mexican and comfort food (steak, meatloaf, fish and chips, etc.). Nice place to go with good prices. Other tables were very happy with their food. Attentive, friendly staff! Wine and beer license will be active soon. Please check it out and help them get off to a good start. Recommend highly!“
“We LOVED Atrisco's Cafe! We visited Santa Fe from Southern California and we were really looking forward to some fantastic New Mexican cuisine. The problem is that we are vegetarian, and we've had a really difficult time finding suitable New Mexican food, since almost all restaurants do not offer vegetarian options--until we found Atrisco's.Not only did Atrisco's offer vegetarian options, but their offerings were mouth watering and prepared expertly. This was one of the best New/Mexican experiences we've ever had.We ordered 2 beers, chips and salsa, sopaipillas, the vegetarian especial enchilada, vegetarian especial stuffed sopaipilla and a kid's cheese enchilada with a side of beans. What a meal! The veggies especial included mushrooms, zucchini, yellow squash, red pepper and green pepper, and they were busting with flavor and still tender crisp. We've had vegetarian Mexican food that tasted like stewed vegetables because they were so overcooked, and they included broccoli and cauliflower for Pete's sake! These are not veggies that say Mexico or New Mexico.Even the tortilla chips were extraordinary. They weren't oily, and were a bit thicker than your normal chips. The corn flavor in them was remarkable. The salsa was medium spicy, chunky and oh so delicious! YUM!We had the sopaipillas with local honey that was on our table. The cinnamon flavor really came through without being overpowering. The honey was so thick and flavorful that you could taste the wildflowers that it was made from. This was a top notch experience and I highly recommend you try Atrisco's. You won't be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Enchiladas, Sopaipillas, burritos, tacos and chilli rellenos could all be ordered vegetarian, including chips and salsa, chili fries and sopaipillas.Kid-friendliness: Atrisco's had a kid's menu with tacos, enchiladas, burrito, hamburger and a grilled cheese sandwich“
“Great experience and tasty food while shopping around the plaza. The pineapple cucumber drink was delicious! We had to order another one to go. They also offer cash discounts as well.Kid-friendliness: They offer kids menu. Kids menu come with crayons to keep children occupied“
“The food tastes amazing along with it's quality, my favorite part of this place are their Aguas frescas which they make themselves daily so it's as fresh as it is delicious. The woman who takes your order is warm and easy to talk to. I have been a customer for many years and I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a meal while you shop. The food does take a while to make (generally eight to ten minutes) but it's worth it.“
“It's our first time visiting Santa Fe and of course we wanted to indulge in the delicious food this city is known for. With so many places to choose from and friends/family providing several recommendations, we decided to ask the gentleman who works at the hotel we're staying at. Posa's was his immediate answer, and he was very confident we would not be disappointed. We headed straight over and had to take a gamble with our ordering skills, as you order at the counter then sit down. We went for two combo plates and a steak quesadilla, plus chips & salsa. I knew at the first bite that this place was it. We found the spot that we will continue to tell everyone they MUST try when in Santa Fe. The staff were all very accommodating, helpful, personable and they listened to us feed them compliments, which were very well deserved. Let me tell you, the food, staff, prices and atmosphere are so excellent that we are going back in the morning for more (and taking what we can back to Denver).“
“I’ve visited 3 times.I would not recommend the vegetarian mole enchiladas unless you like very sweet mole and your idea of veggies is tofu and a bit of kernel corn. I found it inedible. My partner’s chicken enchiladas “Christmas” had no sauce… just cheese. But the salad was memorable… fresh with a tasty dressing… so I tried again on my next visit to Santa Fe.Breakfast: the omelette was very good.Dinner try #2: the tune up salad followed by chicken piccata was spectacular. Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Chicken piccata is GF!“
“The food and service were amazing. A little tight for table spacing. Started with the torilla soup. Very light but fresh. Then the goat cheese strawberry salad with walnuts. Great dish - large. Perfect to split. Filet and enchiladas were the main. Filet went to medium not medium rare. Enchiladas were light not too much spice. Pozole was amazing in it. Beans - normal perfect needed a little salt. Flan was light creamy and fresh berries and cinnamon. Outstanding.“
“I had the experience of visiting Cafe Greco when I was visiting Santa Fe and i absolutely loved it! The food was amazing and I hold greek food to high standards but this was excellent. The service was great and I really enjoyed meeting the owners, they were very nice. I also love the location seeing as I get to watch over the beautiful Canyon Road.“
“Authentic Northern New Mexican food in a charming casual atmosphere. I don't think they have vegan options but if you can handle dairy the cheese enchiladas are authentic and delicious. Northern NM is known for excellent red chile and this place didn't disappoint! I got my enchiladas "Christmas style" which means both red and green but if I went back I would just do red. Their green is good but the red is excellent. Got "Christmas style" chile fries as well. Without the cheese it may be vegan. I'm not sure and didn't ask! Fries were thick cut skin on and spicy! It would be really nice if they had more vegetarian options. Would have loved to have a green chile veggie burger but the enchiladas and fries were great!“
“The shrimp enchiladas are my constant go to! The sauce on this enchilada is amazing I guess that's why I order it every single time :-)I've never known this place to have a bad meal. The chips and salsa are made fresh and the service is always on point. This is a little hole in the wall that's worth visiting.“
“Food was excellent and places was great! Staff was very friendly and personable. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because though I waiter was nice, after taking our order he never came back to check on us... no one did. We wanted a refill, needed more napkins and another fork and could never get anyone's attention, though our waiter passed by us a few times. Next time we are that way we will stop by again. I'm sure it will be better!“
“I have dined here at Los Amigos throughout the years since it first opened. My favorite restaurant to get authentic New Mexico green & red chili at it's best! The American and New Mexican food is excellent, prepared great, and the best in Santa Fe!!! If you want the real New Mexico chili at it's best come here! Take it from a person who has dined all over town and tried it all. Food is fresh and the service is highly excellent! Employees give you the best service available and you don't have to chase anyone down or go looking for them! They check up on you often and make sure your experience is great! Very friendly with a smile! This restaurant keeps me coming back for more and have taken family & friends here. Daily specials are posted and any questions will be answered! I work in the hospitality business for a Five star Hotel chain and this is hands down one of the best Restaurants in Santa Fe!!!Vegetarian options: Excellent quality made to order.“
“Such a great place!! I had the best breakfast I may have ever had. I love the decor, the ambiance, the whole friggin menu looked so good. The chile was very flavorful and spicy, truly fantastic! Service was wonderful even when the Sunday after church crowd was filling up the whole restaurant. Michelada was so good, served in a frosty mug. Bangin salsa. Coffee strong af. I loved everything so much. When I die I want to be able to haunt this restaurant so that I could spend eternity smelling all the yummy food. I went one singular time and now I'm like, obsessed. 10/10.“
“I recently dined at this charming spot and was utterly captivated by its very romantic atmosphere, perfectly complemented by great food and impeccable service. The ambiance sets the perfect mood for a memorable evening, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to enjoy a special night out. The quality of the food was outstanding, with each dish prepared to perfection, and the attentive staff ensured our experience was flawless from start to finish. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. It's a must-try destination that promises an unforgettable dining experience.“
“I used to live in Albuquerque many years ago, so I love green chili. We were up in Santa Fe laying my mother to rest with my father. We went to eat at Tortilla Flats as a large group of family members (20). They really did a wonderful job getting our food to us and making sure we didn't want for anything. I was impressed with the one server we had.Wheelchair accessibility: We had 4 family members that are disabled and they had plenty of room.“
“Shout Out For JASON from the kitchen!Made the breakfast experience something you want to stay an extra day for!Stellar human making sure everyone is taken care of anManaging the entire buffet, while simultaneously taking orders, requests, restocking, cleaning, an allAround making everyone happy an welcome. Thanks to Jason we left with a “FullBelly, Full Heart , and FullSmile”Thanks for making our experience Jason!Wonderful Meeting you!We weren’t satisfied or pleased with the customer service….we were Amazed“
“This little hidden gem in Santa Fe has been around since 1981. I had the local favorite, Carne Ardovada with Frijoles and it was outstanding. Get here early as they close at 7pm and they also serve breakfast. Quaint and cozy with local flair. I highly recommend it on your next tour in Santa Fe New Mexico!“
“The breakfast burritos here are a 10 out of 10. I had a bacon breakfast burrito to go before a hike. The homemade tortillas are fantastic, the bacon was thick and plentiful, and the potatoes were nice and seasoned. I would 100% recommend the breakfast burritos if you want a quick yummy option. The coffee is just okay (hence the 4 stars). It's nothing special, and honestly a tad weak. I would visit again to try more food, but I'm not going to go there just for coffee. The inside is cute though, and they have a lot of space to sit and chill while you're there. There's also a vintage store right next door and a co-op a couple doors down. So it's a cool little area to check out.“
“I'm a regular at Rufina Taproom. I always get top notch service from the bartenders. It's a very friendly atmosphere, people aren't afraid to talk to one another. Serafina is the most attentive bartender around. Also her smile will just melt you. When she teams up with Cindy I call them the Dynamic Duo. The beers and selection are always top notch. One of the best Brewpubs in town no doubt.“
“We went for lunch on a Saturday. The service was great and the food excellent. There were five of us and we each got something different. It was my first time there and plan to go back often.Parking: It was a weekend, so it might be a little tougher on a weekday to park.“
“Tres Colores is unforgettable! Fresh ingredients shine in their dishes. The chilaquiles, with its green chile sauce, is a standout. Fish tacos are both tasty and healthy. Don't miss the Tres Colores special margarita - it's worth having more than one!Tres Colores isn't just about the food; the service is exceptional too. The main host gentleman and the rest of the staff provide outstanding service, adding to the overall dining experience.“
