“G's is our go to for pizza in this area. It's definitely the best tasting with the best ingredients. It does not deliver, but no other pizza place in this area does either.I rated 4 stars because it's really expensive. I know I said it is the best quality pizza in this area but it is way more expensive than what you'd expect. You can get better much quality pizza in other parts of HRM for around 55-60% of the cost. I know G's is doing less volume of orders than pizza places in other areas and there's savings in bulk ordering, etc but it feels like their profit margins are pretty high!Still though, it's good food and the staff are clean and friendly. If this is what matters most to you, you will enjoy G's.”

“This place is a must try! It is by far one of the best restaurants in Halifax. The location itself is a bit rundown but it’s cleaned up well and the atmosphere altogether is amazing. Super casual and low-lit, perfect for a fun and relaxing experience. Overall very enjoyable. Especially the food. Everything I ate was top tier, you can really tell the chefs are very skilled. No appetizer/entree was overshadowed, each dish itself was its own delicious experience. Absolutely phenomenal, I couldn’t have been more pleased or impressed. Even the service was superb, all food and drinks came out quickly but with enough time between everything to actually enjoy your meal. 100% worth your time and money.Dietary restrictions: Many gluten-free options. I find a lot of restaurants don’t have many good celiac friendly options, most of the time the food is mediocre. Yet, here I truly felt the experience and almost half the menu is gluten-free.”

“Good food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere!Coworkers and I stopped in for lunch. We are from out of town and chose this place because they had vegan options. I had the vegan hash with tofu and it was quite good! Coworkers had the fish tacos and smash burger and they really enjoyed their food! (I had to dock one star because the hash could have been crispy but I am nitpicking.)Our server was very friendly and the atmosphere had a relaxed vibe.I will add this place to my lift of vegan-friendly spots to eat in Halifax, as I return for work a few times a year.Vegetarian options: Vegan hash with tofu.”

“Oysters are quite good, but the lemons are too limited for one dozen of oysters, and the shape of lemon is a little hard to squeeze. Scallops are amazing!Highly recommend this dish! The mix of crispy sesames, cilantro and soft sweet scallops is one of the best match I’ve ever tasted in my life!Tuna and fries is a good dish to share. The fries are not so oily and the tuna is fresh.Duck breasts are so juicy! I’ve never had such good tasting duck in Canada before.Pasta fiori is a little too sour for me.We ordered three cocktails and both of them are wonderful! Especially the one with sage!”

“Visited a while back when I was in Halifax, this place was very cool! It’s very nice to experience Filipino culture incorporated into fusion-style bakeries. A lot of the pastries looked delicious and they also serve breakfast; which is such a staple in cafes or bakeries back home. Their Ube Dalgona coffee and Ube Grilled Cheese is to die for; the reason why I came back to write a review was because I was thinking about it today.Their 2D style cafe is so unique! Such a little gem to stop by in Halifax.Will definitely pay a visit again if I am in the East Coast. :) Please consider opening more branches in the West Coast!”

The tempura is hot and tasty, servings are large, fish is fresh and the prices are reasonable. The owner and his staff are so friendly and really put in an effort to take care of their customers. The dishes were packed neatly in branded plastic boxes, through which the food looked amazing. You can definitely notice the authenticity of the flavors, However, I had only two issues with the:De Patacon was incredible, but very hard to hold in my hands. Everything inside fell apart, and they had to eat the amazing ingredients separately.The beef empanada, although crispy, it is still deep-fried in the corn dill flavor, overpowers the taste of watching Side.I will definitely come back for another taste of the amazing Patacon, hopefully you’ll figure out how to eat it correctly”

We did takeout but the staff were so friendly and went above and beyond imo, better than any restaurant I’ve been to and completely unheard of in todays day and age! So happy! And would highly encourage anyone to eat there. We enjoyed the chicken and beef schwarma plate and also the Kafta dinner (ground beef kebabs with amazing flavour) and a couple pitas (chicken schwarma and chicken souvlaki). Tzatziki and hummus were also top notch.”

“Did a food review on this place was recommended by a friend of mine. It’s a Korean restaurant. That serves fried hotdogs on a stick. I grabbed three of them. One was The fried Ramen that had kimchi powder and sweet chili. It was so so good and crunchy. Also got the potato cheese, jalapeño with hot sauce. This one was so cheesy and crunchy with a little bit of a kick probably my favourite and i had the regular traditional one with just mustard and ketchup, these were all very enjoyable not something I’d want to get on a regular basis, but certainly something to check out.
