“Our server was unbelievably friendly, she gave us wonderful and quick and very polite service. she was able to tell me the story behind the name of the restaurant which was pretty beautiful by the way, and for the life of me I can't remember her name. she had beautiful dark long hair in a pony tail. my hubby and I called in advance in hopes to squeeze in as sydney was insanely busy and we drove out for a date night. she was quick to get us in, and never left our sides the entire time. the food was phenomenal, came very quickly and was of quality. so much flavour, and greatttt portions, my hubby and I are both sober for almost 5 years now and to our surprise this restaurant has a mocktail menu. food 10/10 service 10/10 prices 10/10 sober friendly 10/10 highly recommend!”

“This has got to be one of the best places I’ve eaten in Sydney in a long time, if not the best. The entire experience from start to finish was amazing. Perfect customer service, delicious food, and fast service. My friend, my husband and I got the meal that serves three. We got chicken, beef, and pork belly, vegetables, kimchi, and other pickled sides as well as the ramen to split. All of us were completely satisfied, all very full and even had leftovers to take home. I’m a very hard person to please when it comes to food, as me and my husband are both chefs but I’m telling you this place is worth driving to from Ingonish. I will 100% be returning.”

“Time Hortons is a coffee shop. It offers quick service. Light lunches and the best coffee and tea. Also sweets. It's my favorite place for lunch and break time.”

“Lets get the good right out of the way. They arguably have the best poutine on the island; especially so if you enjoy non standard poutines. Their hotdogs are not next level but they're not bad either—they are entirely passable. No complaints.

My complaints come from the service. I ordered a combo from them on Doordash. A combo: a dog, poutine, and a drink. They put my drink in a separate bag from the hot foods which is appreciated but they put the condiments in the bag with the poutine making them warm and disgusting. Why would you do that? Especially when there is a bag with nothing but a cold bottle of pop in it?

On top of that they use wooden forks. Do not eat here if you don't have access to a metal or plastic fork unless you plan to eat entirely with your hands. I know they're good for the environment but they completely change the taste of the food and for the worse.

I took a point off for atmosphere because its in a mall and the food court seats in there are bolted to the ground which is very tacky and lame.”

“I have been going to this restaurant for years and I have always been satisfied with a fresh sub for lunch. Great staff and service 100% of the time. I did have a small problem at another location in Sydney and casually mentioned it to the kind lady who makes my sub every day. She turned out to be the area manager (I'm not surprised because of her amazing personality) and she was interested in knowing what happened at the other location. I explained to her what took place at the other location and I was more concerned that the employee at the other location was going to get in trouble. She assured me that would not happen and that she would take care of it personally and just coach the other employee. She looked after me and thanked me over and over for my business and input. What an asset to Subway this lady is and I hope the franchise owner knows it but I bet they do. Subway on Charlotte rocks!”

“The pizza is very, very delicious. I've tried many of their options and have yet to find one that disappoints. The food can be quite expensive, so expect to pay a lot, but it's worth it. They got sports running on tvs around the place to entertain customers while you wait for your food. And you will have to wait, especially if you go when it's busy, but that's the price to pay for made to order, scrumptious food. They do have a lunch menu which adresses that issue, claiming to get your food in 20 minutes or less or it's on them. Have yet to try it.”

“We were looking for a nice place for lunch on our day visit to Sydney from our Silver Shadow Cruise. Initially, we stopped at another restaurant but after waiting over 20 minutes to just get our order we left. Asking a local business person for a suggestion for lunch, it was quickly recommended to go to Olde Triangle. We spotted their sign and saw they had a Lobster Roll Special. We opted to sit inside but later realized that had a nice outdoor setting. This is a very large Pub with that rustic Pub feel. They had Richard's Ale so my husband Richard enjoyed a beer and glass with his name. The Lobster Roll was good! Our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Inside was not busy, so it was a nice quiet leisurely lunch. In fact walking the street later we saw that the Pub takes an entire street corner. Additionally, there are other Pubs in other cities, including Halifax.”
