“Lulu was a great server, sweet and fun. The lunch special with soup, cucumber or seaweed salad, and 2 rolls is a great deal @ $20.95. We are stuffed! I had and LOVED the Adam Roll and The Laub Special. Wow! So flavorful!! We highly recommend this great place.”
“A true gem in Carson City. For the past three years my wife and I have had the Valentine's Day special dinner with wine pairing. Every year the food and wine have been spectacular. The staff make every visit a pleasure whether it is a special date or another normal dinner visit. Also, the paella is great.”
“One of the best microbreweries in the state if not the country! Variety and innovation are at the forefront of their brews, and they take home medals every year from the World Beer competition!”
“Wow - What a FUN PLACE! We surprised my brother for his 70th birthday and we had to hide for a couple of days until the rest of the family arrived. We saw this diner and decided to stop and eat our first meal there. It was our first trip to Nevada and we were looking for good food! We Found it! Food was excellent - all the waitresses were happy and helpful! They took care of everyone as if were were in there everyday! Coffee was hot and fresh and i was amazed they squeezed their own orange juice FRESH! It was a very Wonderful dining experience! two days later when I told my brother where we ate - he laughed and said he eats there all the time - its one of his favorites.....and he lives in Gardnerville. A must try!”
“What a cute local restaurant. The food was on point, consistent, and hot when we got it. It was exactly as expected. Severs were very pleasant and attentive to our table. The only issue we had was the gravy (on the biscuit) was too sweet for our liking, but this is simply a matter of preference. We highly recommend this restaurant and encourage you to give it a try. I recommend you get there early, this place was packed by 12:30pm.”

“Despite the name of this Cafe that let me overlook the place as an Asian restaurant, I came here for some Chicken Teriyaki upon studying its menu and what they served me was excellent!I had a bit of craving for the teriyaki and the miso soup was a great addition to my meal. The gyoza were a bit too light on the filling, but they were crispy and tasty. The food was well presented, and included with my meal was a refreshing cucumber salad with a vinegary flavor. It had a peculiar topping that I couldn't identify. Imitation crab, maybe? I'm no expert on shellfish, so I can't tell you what they topped it with.Since my grandfather was allergic to shellfish in general and my family didn't eat it often, I just avoid it these days. I still tried a taste of it. Looking at the picture, someone might be able to guess what it is.This place used to be a sandwich place when I was younger. While I miss their French dips with chips, I've gained a place to enjoy some good Teriyaki! Change doesn't have to be frightening!PS: The service was excellent. The woman that served my table brought everything in intervals. I didn't have to wait too long for anything. The asian cuisine program they had up on the tv was interesting (probably one of the most deaf-friendly forms of entertainment I can think of, not to mention interesting.)”

“Came here for Happy Hour and was pleasantly surprised. Parking was free and available in a lot across the street. There is ample courtyard seating but I suggest you make reservations beforehand. Ambiance, food, and service were wonderful. Prices are reasonable. Heidi and Eddie waited on us promptly, and Grace made some tasty cocktails. I will definitely come here again.”

“Great waiter and bus boy. Food was outstanding and the salads were delicous. Love my shirley temple. They are the best at 'dukes. Wish they would work on their desserts. Not a fan!!”
“Wow. If I lived close by I would come here everyday, not just for the amazing food but the wonderful hospitality. It really does feel like you’re tucked away in a small cozy corner of the world shielded from society, just enjoying some bangin’ Indonesian food. Chef Tee Jay made me a sambal and it was the best I’ve had in the US after 4 years. Other customers are always talking within themselves that this place feels just like “home cooked food” and they’re right, everything tastes like it’s made with love. Please try the Indonesian Pot Roast!!”
“I tend to come here quite often, all the food is really good. For anyone trying it for the first time I recommend the House Bowl, probably my favorite they make.”
“I've now had both the soup and ice cream from here and both were great. My wife and I just both had dinner there and it's nice to have a hearty meal for less than $20.”
“Review specifically for their farmers market curry -- easily a 15/10! All three flavors are super delicious, and I love how the owners always share a little preparation tidbit when you visit their booth. Selling it frozen makes it easy to grab and go and save for the perfect time, although we can never resist eating it longer than...oh, that same night! I especially love to grab some oyster mushrooms from another booth at the market to pair with. The curries are also allergy friendly and free from dairy and soy, which adds some welcome variety to my very short list of places I can currently eat. If their packaged curries are already this delicious, I can't even imagine how wonderful having it fresh from their restaurant would taste. BRB heading down to Carson City right now!”

“The barista‘s are always nice and friendly. It’s just a great place to go and get coffee and something to eat.Kid-friendliness: I’m bringing my 15 month old son in there and they’re always so good with him”
“Edit: In 2024, this place is still really good and prices are affordable!SO GOOD!! FINALLY A BOBA PLACE IN CARSON. I've tried the honeydew and the tiger stripes milk tea and both are absolutely lovely. Priced well and very good.”
“There were a lot of vegetarian pupusas and they were all awesome. Especially the mushroom and the jalapeño bean and cheese. The Curtido (fermented cabbage) was really good as well.”
“Tried two of each chicken and pork red salsa tamales.Meat in both tamales was well seasoned and tasty with plenty of sauce inside as well. The masa was also well seasoned and flavorful in both. Moisture was perfect with my preferred masa consistency. Served with a side of green salsa that was delicious.Transplant from the Arizona Mexican border I've been in the Reno/Carson area for over 7 years.I've tried street vendor tamales, fundraising tamales, tamales from local restaurants, my all-time disappointment, FB marketplace $30 a dozen tamales. The Lady Tamales By far, the best tamales in this area I've tasted with the best per dozen prices.Parking: There is plenty of parking with a large lot and easy street access for an rv.”
“Killer traditional ramen! Ordered the tonkotsu broth, and it was quite good! Nice portion size. The soft boiled egg was soy-sauce style, which I really liked. Take out held up well with separate containers for noodles/toppings and broth.”
“Ok ... total hole in the wall but thanks to yelpstars who brought me here. Basic taqueria no frills but DELICIOUS BIRRIA tacos. Ever since I had these for the first time in Las Vegas about two years ago I've been on the hunt for the best ones in our area and these ones were wow!! chefs kiss. Amazing. I don't eat the onions on them mine are just that soaked meat and tons of cheesy cheese. Ladies working were super nice. Grab a seat and enjoy. I would drive to Carson just for these.”
“Good family neighborhood restaurant in Carson City that was fairly busy on Friday night. We came because there was live music (in the mall seating) which was a lovely diversion. The food was fine (fish was a little oily) and the service was good. It was a nice touch that the owner came around twice to check if we were OK. The flavored sodas were off the menu, so the bar staff made me a custom virgin mojito. The wine portions were generous”
“Juan and the Juan's Grill Fam over there are great people, make great food and deliver a great experience without fail. I highly recommend stopping in for a visit be it food or a cocktail ?? you'll enjoy your time there..”
“Had a power outage at home, so we ventured here for some great food. The dining room was packed, the food was amazing, and the service was on point!! The wind outside was howling but we enjoyed it from our warm window seat. :)”
“Took my father to eat here, everything was really good. I jad the wet burrito, which was HUGE. But you could tell all of the ingredients had been seasoned, it tasted so good, I ate more than I should have. But I will be coming back again for sure. Service was excellent. The waitress was really nice. Fortunately, we went when it was not busy at all, so it was peaceful.”
“Had an awesome experience here and will be back. Food is good and huge portions, server was very attentive, and lots of cool stuff to look at...not to mention the great beer selection. Will be stopping every time I'm in ”

“The food was really good. I ordered spicy fried chicken and it came with veggies, mashed potatoes and of course Fried chicken. The portion was good sized. The chicken was juicy, crispy and mildly spicy. The veggies were crunchy and infused with garlic and buttery flavor. This is a 150+ year old restaurant & hotel and you see it in the stained glasses, doors and interior wood work.It fuses modern light with old western design. It’s a great experience to dine here and I highly recommend it.”

“Went with a group of 5 and were placed in the back seating area. The atmosphere in this back room is okay, but can be very loud and not memorable. Ordered a French dip which was good, but be prepared for a smaller size dish with a premium price. Beer was good, but again nothing that I would write home about either. If in the area would give it a try, but would not make a detour/drive to visit.”
“The cheese curds are no longer on their menu but were replaced by mozzarella sticks. They were fully cooked through which is awesome! Their marinara had just a little hint of spice to it. Had their meat lovers thin crust pizza and was delicious! Waitress was great too!”
“And it's been a few years since I visited Olive garden Italian restaurant. This evening with friends we had dinner at the Carson City location. It was a delightful experience ! The restaurants in the bar are all comfortably and attractively appointed. Her server was helpful and took care of all of the details related to our entree dinner and choices. We brought our own bottle wine, the corkage was $10, quite a deal. The dinner pricing was comparable to other local restaurants of a similar caliber. If you like Italian food, you'll enjoy a visit to Olive garden Italian restaurant.”
“This place is the spot for authentic Asian cuisine! They are so friendly, fast and fair priced! They always get it right! Delivery is also easy and friendly! Awesome business!”
“We found Maria's by accident and we're so pleased we did. The food was great and the service was super. We can't wait to go back. Highly recommend Maria's!!!”
“It was a slow night, but we were spoiled with attention at the Sushi counter. Our chef was incredibly fast, friendly and attentive. I have several special.food needs, and our chef was super accommodating.”
“The ice cream tastes delicious! The food is mainly fresh although not all! some is not fresh but other then that good food overall! The girl in the Front counter is pretty hot too ? great place for family and friends! Traditional dates or online dates! Enjoy your food ?”
“Best Mexican Food in town. The food Is delicious everytime. Service is super friendly and they are very accommodating. This is our new #1 place for Mexican Cuisine”

China Palace
“This was my absolute favorite Chinese food in Carson. They sold out to Panda Kitchen II. Who ever cooked for China Palace needs to open another restaurant or teach Panda Kitchen how to cook.”
“My favorite was the lamb curry with garlic naan, the vegetable samosas were also really good with the sauces. Service was excellent and the chef was warm and welcoming. Will be back again!”
24 Hour Restaurants
“Great food, such friendly and knowledgeable owners. Wish they could get away from the smokey casino, they would be 10/10. As of now, service 10, food solid 8, hospitality 10, location 4. Spicy means spicy! Will be back!”
“Free drinks and you can actually get more than one . The bartender Matt and the girl Tracy are flipping amazing . Great customer service always nice and ALWAYS ALWAYS ”
“We don't have enough late night bites restaurants in Carson City. It's a good thing that Casino Fandango and the Palm Court Grill have us covered!Being a night owl, coming from a larger city, bustling at night, Carson City is quite sleepy.Thankfully, there are a few places that stay open even at 2am.I've tried their French Dip, Western Bacon Burger, Buffalo Wings and their footlong Fandango Dog with chili. The French Dip and fries were quite delicious. As good as any other I've had and more beef than the Nugget usually adds to theirs. I would highly recommend it!The Western Bacon Burger is clearly based on the Carl's Jr. equivalent. It was quite delicious! If I have a hankering for a BBQ burger, now I know where I can get one!BTW, an important note for the lactose intolerant and/or those who are not fans of cheese, while the menu doesn't say so, the Western Bacon Burger comes with a slice of cheddar or American cheese. I'm not sure which. Be prepared to request the removal until their menu is adjusted. They were able to remake my meal without any issue. The Buffalo Wings are juicy and well brined. The hot sauce is excellent. The slightly sweet acidic notes, the tomato base, and balanced heat make these wonderful appetites for those not afraid to get their hands messy. The Fandango Dogs' largest issue owes to a high salt content. Though that's the case, it's flavorful and a portion that should satisfy those with big appetites. So far, that's all I can review aside from the waitress that's usually working at this time. She's quite polite and does an excellent job. Though it's late at night, it's clear that good service comes first!”
“A taco shop to remember!! I absolutely love being here, no matter how late the chefs are always super kind to me & the food is always delicious! And being open so often is definitely a big plus.”
“Honestly I've had fast food for years the only place that has stayed the same quality is burger king I love this location and would reccomend this store over all the other the people are kind food is the same for 20 years and the price is perfect for what you're paying for best burger king I've been to by far. However if you're looking for a good dollar menue del taco down the road is just alright.”

Oishi Sushi
“Great place, great speed, great sushi. Not too many people and kind of hidden away from the main road. The service is fast and kind. I recommend their Oishi roll!”
“I love this place!! It has that nostalgic Chinese restaurant vibe and the prices match the nostalgia! The food is also super good and fresh. The staff are friendly and very accommodating to vegetarian options. I recommend getting their dinner package or the lunch special.”
“Went with a group of 5 and were placed in the back seating area. The atmosphere in this back room is okay, but can be very loud and not memorable. Takeout Restaurants
“Although it was a take out order. Wait wasn't long and the counter people were all cordial. They knew what I was ordering as well. Since it was specific. So yes they were very accommodating. And as always burgers were good. Not over seasoned.Dietary restrictions: If you are on a carb restricted diet like Keto or Carnivore this is a good place for quick food. Simply ask for however many extra patties and if you want make them with cheese. Figure extra patties are just over a dollar a piece. Makes for a cheap huge meal.”
“I love this place! Great ice cream and the best quesabirrias around. Great price on the quesabirrias too. The family that owns/runs Axohelado is very nice as well.”

“The food was outstanding, so that makes everything okay. This place is super busy and it's tough to get a table. There is not a romantic atmosphere, but the food is great.”
“Great food. The service was excellent and they were so kind and caring that you could tell with the authentic food quality. I highly recommend this small restaurant and will be returning any time I can. ♥️”
“One of the best breakfast experiences we've had in Carson Valley. The food we ordered was delicious. Decent prices and HUGE portions. The plates almost didn't fit on the table and they were loaded with food. We ordered a side of 2 pancakes and were so glad we did because we wouldn't have made it through a short stack. Props that the pancakes are actually dinner plate sized and a short stack here is 4 instead of your standard 2, and a regular stack has 6. Hubby said the Chilaquiles were delicious, and others must agree because we saw at least four other orders of them come out while we were there, and the restaurant wasn't very busy... maybe 7 tables had people at them when we arrived at 9am. Service was good and coffee cups were kept full. Already planning on bringing out of town guests here when they visit.”
“Had a power outage at home, so we ventured here for some great food. The dining room was packed, the food was amazing, and the service was on point!! The wind outside was howling but we enjoyed it from our warm window seat. :)”
“Had an awesome experience here and will be back. Food is good and huge portions, server was very attentive, and lots of cool stuff to look at...not to mention the great beer selection. Will be stopping every time I'm in ”
“Rating based in food taste! Purchased a whole German chocolate cake ($32.95), elephant ear ($10), whole fruit tart ($10.96), pull away monkey bread (?) and a slice of tiramisu ($4.95); would absolutely get the monkey bread and elephant ear again. Service could use improvement - girl didn't know what anything, kept on trying to box the wrong items despite telling her names (and pointing) and not customer focused/helpful.”
“I brought my 4 year old to Betsy's to get a quick bite to eat. The little one was given 4 new crayons and a menu/coloring paper with squirrels, and she enjoyed herself! After about 8 minutes in a busy restaurant, we got my 1/3 lb. burger and the little got an adult grilled chicken sandwich, and they were perfectly made. The hospitality of the very polite staff make for a quick and enjoyable experience.Overall, a perfect place for a quick Dad and Daughter lunch sits at this little restaurant in slot world! My daughter recommends adding more squirrels and tic-tac-toe to the kids' coloring page, as my little one thought they were cute and recommended this specific thing. :)Kid-friendliness: The staff supplied my daughter new crayons to enjoy herself with. They even made her a Shirley temple”

“This was my absolute favorite Chinese food in Carson. They sold out to Panda Kitchen II. Who ever cooked for China Palace needs to open another restaurant or teach Panda Kitchen how to cook.”
“My dish was a special pork dish. The vegetables and sides were perfectly done and sized. It was all absolutely delicious. Our server was delightful. Altogether, it is a wonderful place to enjoy a special meal in Carson City.I have since returned 4 times and each time I try something different. Absolutely everything I eat is fantastic. The servers are always accommodating and very pleasant. One of my absolute favorites in Carson City. Actually better than several Thai restaurants in Portland Oregon. Go, you'll love it!The pictures attached to my review are not in The Basil, but the review was for Basil. The photos are in Garibaldi Restaurant next door.”

Vino's Pizza
“The menu offered a wide variety of options, from classic margherita to exotic BBQ chicken, and everything in between. As I entered inviting aroma of freshly baked pizza, and I knew I was in for a treat. The first bite was sheer bliss—crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and the perfect amount of toppings.”
“Great Mexican food restaurant, been going since a was a kid. The food is always great and the meatball soup.Service has really been lacking my last couple visits.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“I told the lovely girl at the window that I wanted a blended coffee with chocolate and caramel and that I liked it sweeter more than bitter. This was the best coffee I've ever ordered. I wish I would have taken a picture of it but I didn't think that far ahead. Fabulous job! 10 out of 10!”
“Okay so the atmosphere is not all that great, even though I gave it five stars because the food quality & flavor is so out of this world -good! ? I order the shrimp fajitas with extra tortillas. I had some refried beans and some avocados from home and I can eat on this for five or six meals. Once I still had some leftover and it made breakfast shrimp fajita tacos with scrambled eggs and bacon, for me and my grandson for meal stretch number seven and eight at 2 tacos each??.??”
“Staff is always extra helpful and friendly at this specific location. It's always clean, they have a play area that seems pretty clean also. The drive thru is fast even when the line is long.”
“Stopped in to initiate a food purchase, and I was not disappointed! I got the turkey bacon ranch, and a small Chili before going on a trip, and they were made well, and not a long wait in line.Overall, this place isn't talked about enough, and I definitely recommend it as a fast sandwich stop!”
“Great food. Service is always a mix. Most days fast and friendly. Some days they serve customers after us because it got busy... Will still be back, but it can be slow/frustrating.”
“we love the foodVegetarian options: we love it allDietary restrictions: on high way 50 carson city nvParking: goodKid-friendliness: yes it isWheelchair accessibility: yes it is”
“Atmosphere is good, service is friendly, food is also good. My problem is I wish they would listen when you don't want something added. Might seem trivial but I've been here 3 times. 1st time I didn't think to say anything, 2nd time I asked no pepper, 3rd time husband said no pepper. Got pepper each ”
“The girl at the drive through was very nice. Once I pulled up to the window, I got my order right away. This was Friday at 4:30 PM & they were ready for the rush.”
“Unlike the location in Reno off of Mount Rose Highway, I got a freaky fast sub that was decent. Imagine that that Reno store really needs to change in management. To highlight this Carson City store, though they did an amazing job and it literally was freaky ”
“So I love a good fish sandwich. They got one now, but who knows for how long. It's at a good price if you get the two for six deal. Wow. A three dollar fish sandwich that's pretty good too. Ahh, the good ol days. I'll keep visiting til they run out. Then once in awhile for brisket. It's good too but kinda expensive. ?”
“Del Taco is one of the few fast food places that still has decent food and doesn’t charge ridiculous prices. I can always count on them when I can’t figure out what to get for dinner.”
“It was a walk down memory lane. I hadnt been to a DQ in forever and it was just as tasty as ever. My only issue was the it smelled like sewer gas inside. They have some sort of plumbing issue. Owners need to look into that maybe pour some hot water down the drains.”
“Slow service at drive-through and got my order all wrong. Had to go back and go inside to get it corrected. Got home, and the food was cold. Maybe the people are new or just having a bad day.”
“Every time I get breakfast they have a guy washing the driveway with high pressure washer and a bucket of soap. This should be done at night I don't appreciate the over spray all over my car. I actually think they are violating the law by throwing a bucket of soapy water on the driveway and washing it into the street. It then goes down the gutter. I've stopped going to this location because of this.”
“Always a great option when you don't want to cook, but don't want fast food. More economical than other take out or pizza delivery which almost always arrive lukewarm at best. Papa Murphy's is always hot.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies available to make a great pizza!”
“Been coming here since H.S., moved away and hadn't been back for years... but nothing has changed! Food, service, and atmosphere all still a 6 star rating!Took my family here last week and "Salsas" is now their favorite too.Sooooooo goooood! Muuuuuuy Bueeeeno!”
“Had a fantastic experience at Francisco's Mexican Grill in Carson City. The fajitas I ordered were absolutely delicious, and my fiancée's tacos were a hit as well. My parents thoroughly enjoyed their chimichangas. This place is our go-to for both quick service and outstanding Mexican flavors. We can't recommend it enough!”
“La Capital Cafe and Grill went above and beyond my lunch expectations. The atmosphere exuded warmth, and the menu showcased a splendid array of options. The attentive service, coupled with beautifully presented dishes, made each bite a flavorful journey. The chef's meticulous attention to detail shone through, elevating the overall dining experience. This establishment has seamlessly blended top-notch ingredients with expert preparation, earning it a well-deserved spot among my favored dining spots. I eagerly anticipate a return visit to delve further into their diverse offerings. For a gratifying and enjoyable lunch, I wholeheartedly endorse La Capital Cafe and Grill.”
Cheap Eats
“Small local dive bar with great music. Love the outdoor seating. And they have heaters for those chilly night! Great staff, friendly guests, drinks are well made and fairly priced. They don't have food, but no problem having food delivered. New owners have been there 1 year. Great job so far!”
“Tuesday night Viola bartends and does Bingo at 6:00pm really fun times, Wednesday night Richaun bartends and makes a mean Picon punch, Thursday night Samantha bartends and does Trivia at 6:00pm”
“Fun place to just hangout have a couple drinks and shoot some pool with some friends. Definitely love the bartenders and just everybody there. My fiance and I and apa pool team play pool there regularly.”
“Bar was full but it was still a great time and Ms. Bob always made sure my drink was full. Update: Now that Glen Sr. and others can no longer call the shots regarding when people can start listening to the jukebox and how loud these people can listen to the songs they play, I and I'm sure others can now enjoy listening to our favorite songs that much earlier in the days!!”
“Dutch Bros is so much better than the other coffee companies. The service I receive each time I go is super!!!!!Features: The Dutch brothers crew is always happy and value your business and you can add a tip on a debit card”
“Surprisingly this was a very good Is port of subs. I was waited on promptly the food was very good my Sandwich was made the way I Requested. The place was clean and I was in and out under 10 minutes. Prices were fair.”
“This is a cool little coffee shop in old Town carson. Outside seating with a fireplace some tables inside and a chill atmosphere. It's my goto spot when I'm in carson ”
“Dutch Bros is my favorite coffee spot, and it's not just because of their fantastic drinks. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible team of people who work there. From the moment I walk up to the window or they walk up in the drive through to take my order, I'm greeted with the warmest smiles and a genuine enthusiasm. The staff at Dutch Bros embodies the epitome of excellent customer service. They go above and beyond to make sure your coffee experience is not just a transaction, but a moment of connection and happiness. I've had the pleasure of striking up conversations with the baristas, and they're not only experts in coffee but also great conversationalists who brighten my day. What's truly exceptional is the personalized touch they add to every order. They remember my name, my favorite drink, and even the little preferences I have. It's a testament to their dedication to providing not just coffee, but an experience that makes you feel like a valued part of their community. So, if you're looking for a place where the coffee is fantastic and the people are even better, Dutch Bros is the place to be. It's more than a coffee shop; it's a hub of positivity and friendly faces, making it the highlight of my day. Kudos to the exceptional team at Dutch Bros for making each visit a delightful, memorable experience!”
“It was nothing to cheer about, but it wasn't horrible. I would eat there again, but it is far from homeParking: Tight for bigger vehiclesWheelchair accessibility: It's there, I can't say more than that, I don't use it”
“Nice little burger bar right downtown with good burgers and nice employees.Parking: Lots of cars so it was hard to find an empty spot, had to drive around for a bit.”
“Very delicious food and at a correct price, handmade tortillas which gives a very rich flavor to everything, if you are in a hurry and not much money but delicious food there it is!Parking: It is not abundant but it is available next to the restaurant without problem”
“Girlfriend was sick an was in the hospital so sage Cafe was the easiest thing. food was actually pretty damn good an prices were great like before inflation jacked food prices through the roof. Serving size was great.Parking: It is a parking lot at a hospitalWheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible because it is inside a hospital.”
“I've yet to have a bad meal at this place. The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, everything seems to be made fresh. The place is a bit old and dated, but kept clean.I think that some of the negative reviews are written by people with very unrealistic expectations. I saw one complaining about no free chips and dip. This is a counter service restaurant and people are complaining about not getting things that are customary at full service restaurants. Go in knowing that this is a no frills, good food at a good price, restaurant, and you won't be disappointed.”
“Stopped in for breakfast, coffee and lounging before an appt. I was immediately greeted by a super friendly server with a menu and water. I ordered a dirty chai (yum!) 2 eggs and toast - they had Dave’s Killer Bread (win!). My food came out in minutes, hot and well presented. Everything was great. I love the vibe here, it’s Alice in Wonderland theme and the perfect place to enjoy a hot bev and relax.”
“Peg's is always a great place for breakfast especially if you enjoy island dishes like a Loco Moco, Portuguese sausage and of course, spam and eggs. And I should note, I've been to a lot of Peg's from Reno to Vegas and they're all just a bit different one to the next. That said, I especially like the one here in Carson City because of the way they cook the above mentioned dishes and LOVE their specific mac salad. A pro tip of mine is to order up a side of pico to go with your meal as it's fresh and delicious! My wife always like to order up their Belgian waffle with banana fosters or the Plaza Omelette and I can never resist finishing up what she can't eat. Peg's can get pretty busy on the weekends, especially on a Sunday after church lets out so if you're coming in with your family, you should know there might be a wait.”
“My husband and I went for breakfast at the establishment in Carson City. We were sat down almost immediately. The Hostess said "your waitress will be right with you." We had already knew what we wanted. So our menus were placed on the table.20 minutes goes by and our waitress who had been chatting it up with the table in front of us. Has decided to take our order. She didn't even bring our food to us. Or even check to see how our food was. She dropped the check off at the table. That was the last we saw of her unil we had to pay our check. We have been to the Red Hut many times. Never have we had such poor service.”

Glen Eagles
“We absolutely love everything about Glen Eagles!!! The food is fantastic with a huge selection to choose from. We've made it a monthly date night stop. Jessica, the lounge waitress is the best. The ambiance is super chill, and it feels like everyone knows each other. All around, great time!!”
“Food could have been a lil better , it was good but just felt uninspired and not made to impress. Service was fire out waitress killed and came with all the cool suggestions. Atmosphere was on point super intimate and gave us a chance to spend quality time together.”
“Fast service, everything is hot. Good portions of food. Went twice so far this week.Parking: Right in front of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking is right in front of the restaurant. There is handicap parking. They have both tables & booths.”

“Been here twice in the span of a month. Food is fresh and very flavorful! The owner is very friendly. I had the Drunkin Noodles. Stir fry flat white noodles with mushroom, onions, peppers and your choice of meat. There were seven in our party. Everyone left with happy full bellies.”
“It's a hole in the wall neighborhood bar...and that makes it cozy...we walked in and everyone was so friendly...well that is except the bar tender, made us feel like she could care less if we were there or not...even after spending $100 on drinks for our group throughout the night we couldnt get even a smile outta her...we really liked the regular gang and the kareoke was fun, though they need to turn it up a bit, especially the mike...and we would love to come back there, but prob won't only because of the sour puss service...”
“Excellent place to have breakfast. The ingredients are always fresh tasting and the restaurant theming is fun. I enjoy having a cup of coffee with my breakfast and it always is fresh and hot! I would recommend coming here for a tasteful relaxing breakfast. Just mind the crowds! Lots of people come here for a good reason!”
“I was staying in a hotel, and I stopped here for breakfast for the next day. It's a very big store with a good display and a big selection. Some prepared foods.”
“The food is very delicious, the bad thing is that it takes too long for them to give us the order. I think about going for the same thing because it takes a long time.”

“My wife and I decided to try Pho Country oriental resteraunt, my wife loves chineese we've tried 3 or 4 other resteraunts in Carson City, Nevada and I'm going to say that Pho Country now tops our list for oriental food in the area, just OUR opinion. The sweet and sour prawns ND the general chicken were amazing!! The staff here were wonderful and the prices are about what you would expect. We definitely recommend giving Pho Country a try..”
“I tend to come here quite often, all the food is really good. For anyone trying it for the first time I recommend the House Bowl, probably my favorite they make.”
“Great food and friendly service. We’re big fans of this place, the food is always very flavorful and the quality of their dishes is consistently good. Highly recommended.”
“Small local dive bar with great music. Love the outdoor seating. And they have heaters for those chilly night! Great staff, friendly guests, drinks are well made and fairly priced. They don't have food, but no problem having food delivered. New owners have been there 1 year. Great job so far!”
“I had an issue with my order and I went and spoke to the manager Super nice guy completely fixed everything 10 out of 10. I wish I knew the manager's name because he is phenomenal.”
“Denny's! If you live in the USA you have at least heard if Denny's. Let share a few things I really like about Denny's. You can count on the consistency of their food and service anywhere you walk in their front door. They serve alcoholic beverages. Did you know if you're an AARP member you get a 15% discount anytime you eat there! I have visited the restaurants between Mobile Alabama, Las Vegas Nevada, Salt Lake City Utah and other locations. Their food is prepared well in an American diner style. Their service personnel are friendly. You can expect good American diner style food quickly at a moderate price.”
“This is the oldest McDonald's that I know of in Nevada in Carson City. Food, service, and cleanliness of the building is almost always tip top. And for $5.30 you can still get a Happy Meal with a regular burger, medium size fries, a medium soda or all coffee, and a toy and dessert/fruit; which I think is at least a decent little meal that won't break even the most humble of people, and I afopt the little toy animal out to the nearest kid I see to make them smile...”
“Another restaurant I haven't been to in years. But boy, I am so glad we came here to celebrate a family member's birthday.Needless to say, they have room for special events and private parties. So if you are looking for a venue keep them in mind. The Prime Rib was outstanding. Indeed, it was the best Prime Rib I have had in a very long time. Our waiter and the Maitre de were outstanding. They made us all feel so welcome and almost like we were family. We all are still raving about the Prime Rib.There is something so wonderful about a place treating you like family. The human connection is something we all want. It is so awesome to feel appreciated and connected to our world and others. The staff here were outstanding. Everyone commented on the service we received. The appetizers and salads were tasty. The family members who had the salmon said it was excellent. Everyone was pleased with their meal. Portions are generous. All of us remarked on how good the food was. Not to mention, the price was right. The ambiance might be a little lacking. There are no tablecloths. However, keep in mind that tablecloths come with a cost of their own. They need to be laundered and then some need to be replaced. So there would be an added cost.So the question is would you prefer a little more ambiance or a cheaper price for an excellent meal? However, if you are looking for excellent service with delicious food at a reasonable price then this is the place for you.Not to mention, that the drive to Carson is beautiful. Plus there are plenty of things to do in Carson to enjoy. Perhaps it is time to beckon back to a slower pace of life. Take a nostalgic trip to Carson to see the Capitol all decorated for Christmas. Stop in at the Nugget and enjoy a dinner at the steakhouse.I wish I could remember the name of the Maitre de and Waiter I hope that management sees this review and gives the KUDOS and a big SHOUTOUT for delivering such great service. THANK YOU BOTH from my family.”
“Tuesday night Viola bartends and does Bingo at 6:00pm really fun times, Wednesday night Richaun bartends and makes a mean Picon punch, Thursday night Samantha bartends and does Trivia at 6:00pm”
“I had previously left a negative review that was not accurate of the actual experience and would like to set the record straight.I have eaten here several times. The food is always great, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good place to eat in Carson, so give them a try if you haven't already.Parking: The restaurant is in the MAX casino, so there is plenty of free parking.”
“Great food. The service was excellent and they were so kind and caring that you could tell with the authentic food quality. I highly recommend this small restaurant and will be returning any time I can. ♥️”
“The cheese curds are no longer on their menu but were replaced by mozzarella sticks. They were fully cooked through which is awesome! Their marinara had just a little hint of spice to it. Had their meat lovers thin crust pizza and was delicious! Waitress was great too!”
“Great waiter and bus boy. Food was outstanding and the salads were delicous. Love my shirley temple. They are the best at 'dukes. Wish they would work on their desserts. Not a fan!!”
