“This place is a hidden gem!!! If you live in Reno or sparks, this place is worth the drive!!! The owners are amazing and really care about the quality of what they serve! They make every customer feel like a friend and they take the time to work through what you’d like best! Good food, great drinks and even better people!!!! If you want to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle and have a great morning with some awesome treats - go now! <3”
“The new owners now also own the Camp Cafe serving pizza and burgers. Check it out. Great food!Vegetarian options: Build your own pizza! Mine was a tomato, garlic, artichoke and red onion with extra cheese! Baked perfectly! Great other options plus a great salad with options as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Absolutely available!”
“Best darn "Honky-Tonk" in the great state of Nevada. So stop on by and say howdy, lot's of local "color" tell the owner Shirlee Eric Dennison say's hello.”
“My husband and I headed over for dinner as we were both craving a burger. We opted for the cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese- he had fries and I am a total lover. They cook to order which resulted in super hot fries and tots. Yum! The decor is minimal and yet kind of kitschy so it's nice. It was kind of cool so a bit more heat would have been nice. Overall a cute local place with some tasty food. Looking forward to trying the pizza next time.”
“Small local dive bar with great music. Love the outdoor seating. And they have heaters for those chilly night! Great staff, friendly guests, drinks are well made and fairly priced. They don't have food, but no problem having food delivered. New owners have been there 1 year. Great job so far!”
“Wow. If I lived close by I would come here everyday, not just for the amazing food but the wonderful hospitality. It really does feel like you’re tucked away in a small cozy corner of the world shielded from society, just enjoying some bangin’ Indonesian food. Chef Tee Jay made me a sambal and it was the best I’ve had in the US after 4 years. Other customers are always talking within themselves that this place feels just like “home cooked food” and they’re right, everything tastes like it’s made with love. Please try the Indonesian Pot Roast!!”
“Bella Vita catered our lunch today at work. Im honestly not a big fan of alfredo chicken pasta but I took one bite of this and oh my god - amazing. I honestly contemplated eating my serving and not saving any for my husband. And the homemade chips are insanely good! So good that I'm willing to travel 25 miles just to have this delicious food again. The owner is super sweet too!”
“Food was delicious. Really enjoyed the Mt Rose roll and the ramen. Also, I had leftover ramen and they packed it to go for me—- separated the broth and the noodles so the noodle doesn’t soak up all the broth and get extra soggy! Never experienced that before. What a special touch. Thank you!”
“When we got to Virginia City, the town was deserted. We were about to head back to Reno. Then we discovered this little bar. The ambience is amazing. At this place you have the opportunity to meet real locals. A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to experience some authentic impressions of Virginia City. A beer for $2 is also the best we've seen on our USA trip.”
“If your looking for a lite vegetarian option in Virginia city look no further than here. This bagel sandwich was absolutely amazing. Let me just say artichoke. I was a little sad at the state of the grilled cheese but the flavor of the garlic butter they used was absolutely a game changer. And the sunset smoothie was delicious.”
“Best protein shake I have EVER had!!!!! Locally owned by the nicest family! Service with a smile! HIGHLY recommend!!!Vegetarian options: Amazing variety of options of teas, shakes, and smoothies! All low sugar or sugar free and low calorie!Dietary restrictions: Healthy options that taste great!Kid-friendliness: The menu is so cute and has drinks/flavors any kid would love and they are healthy :)”
“One of the oldest bar/saloons in Nevada.A rich history. Come in for a drink. Friendly locals. It's a hoot ?No food just drinks today. You gotta love this town and the locals”
“Out of the way, Sweet little old town dive bar. Mostly locals with occasional tourist. Ricky bar maid was as pleasant as a southern peach. All the patrons were super friendly and it was very comfortable. I imagine this could be a fun place on a Friday or Saturday night. I will be back for more fun!!”
“Tuesday night Viola bartends and does Bingo at 6:00pm really fun times, Wednesday night Richaun bartends and makes a mean Picon punch, Thursday night Samantha bartends and does Trivia at 6:00pm”
“I tend to come here quite often, all the food is really good. For anyone trying it for the first time I recommend the House Bowl, probably my favorite they make.”
“I've now had both the soup and ice cream from here and both were great. My wife and I just both had dinner there and it's nice to have a hearty meal for less than $20.”
“Review specifically for their farmers market curry -- easily a 15/10! All three flavors are super delicious, and I love how the owners always share a little preparation tidbit when you visit their booth. Selling it frozen makes it easy to grab and go and save for the perfect time, although we can never resist eating it longer than...oh, that same night! I especially love to grab some oyster mushrooms from another booth at the market to pair with. The curries are also allergy friendly and free from dairy and soy, which adds some welcome variety to my very short list of places I can currently eat. If their packaged curries are already this delicious, I can't even imagine how wonderful having it fresh from their restaurant would taste. BRB heading down to Carson City right now!”
“Great for big groups if you can find a table that isn’t taken so they are doing it right! The food is great and fairly priced for quality. They need some non-alcoholic beer. ?”
“Excellent food. We ordered happy hour appetizers and one that was on special. The special was so good we had another. Prompt and attentive service, lovely interactions with all of them. Clean, comfortable and a great night!”
“A true gem in Carson City. For the past three years my wife and I have had the Valentine's Day special dinner with wine pairing. Every year the food and wine have been spectacular. The staff make every visit a pleasure whether it is a special date or another normal dinner visit. Also, the paella is great.”
“Lulu was a great server, sweet and fun. The lunch special with soup, cucumber or seaweed salad, and 2 rolls is a great deal @ $20.95. We are stuffed! I had and LOVED the Adam Roll and The Laub Special. Wow! So flavorful!! We highly recommend this great place.”
“One of the best microbreweries in the state if not the country! Variety and innovation are at the forefront of their brews, and they take home medals every year from the World Beer competition!”
“Such a fun place to go have breakfast. I wouldn't say it's the most "breakfasty" place in the world though. They focus a lot more on their omelets and sandwiches than their pancakes and frenchtoast. The service is typically fast and friendly. But expect wait times on the weekend!”
“Absolutely one of the best espresso shops I have ever been to. The coffee and all ingredients were fresh, local, and handmade with care and love. Two people in our party ordered lattes and they were incredible and one person ordered some tea, which was also fantastic. I highly recommend stopping in if you’re ever in Virginia City.Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating to a dairy allergy in our group.”
“Was invited to share a Friday evening here. Had an amazing pizza, some great wine, stayed for karaoke, although it's not my style. The people who sang, omg. Thank you. Having never been to karaoke before, I now understand why it's all the rage. Will be”
“Edit: In 2024, this place is still really good and prices are affordable!SO GOOD!! FINALLY A BOBA PLACE IN CARSON. I've tried the honeydew and the tiger stripes milk tea and both are absolutely lovely. Priced well and very good.”
“We ordered specialty coffee and pizza. They delivered to us outside on the deck with our dog. The pizza came out immediately after coffee, which rarely happens anywhere, so we were especially excited about the service - beyond 5 ”
“Great place. Food was like grandma used to make. Everything was spot on. The waiter was running his butt off but was a great communicator. Chicken fried steak and eggs and Breakfast sandwich are must try’s. Coffee was very good too. Prices are very reasonable.”
“There were a lot of vegetarian pupusas and they were all awesome. Especially the mushroom and the jalapeño bean and cheese. The Curtido (fermented cabbage) was really good as well.”
“The best shrimp enchiladas in Reno! The workers are always friendly and if you call ahead to place an order and they don't answer, they will always call you back about placing your order. The portions are huge and well priced. If you want burritos they are giant and worth it according to my husband. Highly recommend and the best little food truck! They do close down for a couple of months in the winter months so be sure to check before heading down.”
