“I began my sushi journey at the OG Sushi Pier over 20 years ago. Instantly developed amazing friendships with their staff. Always knew me by not just my name but my “nickname” lol. Always amazing food, chefs are always willing to make alterations to requests (add this, subtract that, make it spicier). Whenever my OG Reno friends come into town and want to go to sushi, they always request the OG Sushi Pier! I’ve eaten my fair share of sushi, all over the country, and can hands down say OG Sushi Pier consistently is amazing! All this talk of the OGSP got me wanting, you guessed it, the OG Sushi Pier!“

“The wor wonton soup is one of the best I’ve had. I can’t stop ordering it. To start, the broth is insane, perfectly rich and seasoned. And then you add the dumplings (I choose fried vs steamed usually), the variety of veggies, and all the garnishes. It’s a perfect dish. No notes.

I’ve also had their Bahn mi with the charred pork. Amazing also.“

“This is my first time going to teriyaki madness. I was really impressed!The staff was so friendly. Everything is cooked right in front of you, made to order. You can be as healthy as you want. I ordered vegetables instead of rice with my chicken. They have other options besides chicken. The Veggies & chicken were really fresh. I'll be stopping back in again!“

Food is hot, fresh and healthy. Moderately expensive but great (convenient) location next-door to the Cinemark luxury movie theaters, restaurants, great shopping, and even a within walking distance hotel.“

“Sushi was tasty! The rolls are delicious, the service is fast, and the atmosphere is excellent. They were very busy when we went. The only minor issue was that the carbonated sodas tasted a bit weird, so I had to switch to a clear drink instead. However, the staff had no issues with replacing the drinks for us, which was excellent customer service. I have gone there once a week for the last three weeks and will definitely keep going back!“

“We went there for my sons 18th birthday. The food was great, the service was great and so was the entertainment. It was a wonderful experience that we do yearly or multiple times in a year. Everything was great until we received the tab. The fact that there is now a mandatory gratuity no mater how big the party is, I feel is wrong on so many levels. Because of the mandatory gratuity you cost your servers, staff and cooks more money. I understand having when with larger parties but we had 5 of us and the people next to us was only 2. I would suggest changing this or you will have others that will find other places to go. Other then that everything was great.“

Heard good things and they didn’t disappoint. Fish was fresh and good quality. Enjoyed all items: Tuna, Salmon, Unagi, Inari, Peppered Tuna, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Polar bear hand roll (my favorite new sushi), tempura mix, seaweed and cucumber salads. “Went to Asian Paradiser for dinner with the girls tonight. The food was excellent, so fresh, and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. Price was very reasonable, the restaurant was very clean and cute. They have a really nice full bar also. Potstickers were our favorite along with the cashew chicken! Our waiter, Cory, gave great service too. Perfect experience!“

Just a heads-up, all three locations are on Virginia St. I did not realize this before placing an order online and went to the wrong location. I asked if there was any way they could make my order and they were extremely understanding and made my order on the spot for me. Saved me a 20 minute drive after a long day. Will definitely be coming back for customer service alone. And I will be sure to order to the right location next time!“

It comes with 2 appetizers (I get fried calamari and gyoza), four nigiri (I get two sake and two saba), and three sushi rolls (I like the Sparton roll here.) It's a lot of food, delicious, and surprisingly affordable. I also love how polite and professional the staff at Sushi One are.“
