“My wife and I live outside a town in South Jersey with the highest Italian population in South Jersey. As a result, there are several excellent Italian restaurants in the area, but when we visited Bruschetta’s in Lake Tahoe a couple of years ago, both the atmosphere and the food totally blew us away! The owner is extremely involved, and introduces himself to every customer. The food is amazing! The wine selection is excellent! And don’t even think about not tasting the most delicious bruschetta that you could possibly ever have. We were back there again yesterday, and were not disappointed. I have friends in NJ that own Italian restaurants, so I don’t want to hurt their feelings, but I can guarantee you that you will leave Bruschetta’s 100 percent impressed, and will make it a major priority to come back to Bruschetta’s on your next trip to Lake Tahoe! I give it 5 Stars across the board!”

“It’s a no for us. We had our wedding reception here at the Tavern and while the food and drinks were amazing, the way we were treated by management was awful. (Serving staff was wonderful!). We started working with Wendy (owner/manager I'm assuming) months before the wedding. She had to make it known from the beginning that she was doing us a favor by letting us come here on a Saturday night. We paid her $680 for a ton of food, that she was trying to say wouldn't be enough for 40ish people (it was, we had leftovers), and everyone bought their own drinks (39 open tabs they got from us that night). All in all, they got a pretty decent chunk of money from us and our group. When my party got to the tavern, they were told we had an hour and a half (this would put us at 6:30pm) before they would be asking us to leave. This was a huge shock, as Wendy never mentioned a time limit for our event. We were always under the impression that we could stay there as long as we want, as long as our party was buying drinks! Later in the night, we were told that we had to leave by 7 because they had another wedding party coming. This was also never mentioned to us during the planning. So they started bussing our tables while people were still sitting down and made everyone close out their tabs and leave the Tavern. Well we ended up hanging out there until 8:30pm and there was no other party that showed up. It was completely empty up until the time that my groom and I left, and they closed at 10pm. Bummer for them that they missed out on all the extra money from that second wedding party. On top of that, the chef came out to me while we were about to start cutting the cake and asked if we would like him to cut it for us. He offered so nicely, we said yes please and thank you and he did a a wonderful job. Then on our way out, they chased us down telling us that we had to pay for the cake cutting that was offered to us. And on top of all of that, they were trying to charge us $100 for "corkage fees", when there were never any bottles opened by us. I didn't get the manager's name that brought us the extra $150 bill for cake cutting and corkage but he was flat rude. After arguing with my husband and I, and asking the waiter how many bottles he saw (zero open), he did take off the over $100 for corkage, as he should have. Our waiter who took care of us all night, Jake, was literally amazing. He had our back that night, he helped us figure out all the mess that the Tavern caused and he got us back to feeling good about our wedding night. Honestly, if we could have invited Jake to the after party, we would have. Oh and Wendy was nowhere to be found during this whole thing. All this to say, don't expect any sort of decent service from management and don't try to have an event here. Management is rude, they act like they don't want you there, and they push business out the door. At least you can have a nice pizza tho.”

“We had the Chateaubriand for two and it did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked. We added Bleu cheese and mushrooms and it was perfection. The broccolini, asparagus, mashed potatoes were also cooked to perfection. Saul was our server and he was the best. We were treated like family. Would definitely go here again”

“About a year later, I decided to come back since it’s close to my rental, and I’m glad I did. This time, I had a much better experience overall. The food was noticeably better, well prepared, and enjoyable. The service was also improved, more attentive, and made the visit pleasant. It was a big difference compared to my previous visit, and I’d definitely consider coming back again.”

Their response was so quick, they were so helpful and kind. The goodies were delivered when they said they would be and were perfect! Everything was delicious! “Enjoyed staying at Eagles Nest. Ski-out and Ski-in close by. The manager Billy is very active in being host and taking care of people. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great for skiers. Drop into Boulder trail from the back of condo.”

“My husband and I wanted some cocktails in South Lake Tahoe over the summer and heard that Cleo’s bar at the new Caesar Republic hotel is the place to try. We were impressed with the new cocktail bar and its bartender Justin. He was professional, polite, articulate, knowledgeable, and accommodating while handling big crowds. Justin’s drinks were amazing, the best we have ever had! He was to be able to whip up delicious cocktails quickly when the crowds started to roll in and everyone was complimenting his drinks. Located in the hotel lobby, Cleo’s did not have the typical flashing lights, chaos, and noises of a typical casino. Its ambiance was calming, modern, clean, well lit but not too bright with loud enough music in the background so we could still talk. We enjoyed our experience thoroughly and happy that we gave this surprise spot a try. The coffee bar on the other side has delicious foods, snacks, and treats with non-alcoholic drinks available. Recommend a try if you are happened to be visiting South Lake Tahoe.”

SAL the manager was so awesome at resolving our late check-in dilemma as our room wasn’t already. I live in Reno and I will definitely be back! I don’t think I’ve ever felt that relaxed in years”

“Ice cream in lake tahoe. Although it was a bit longer of a walk the ice cream was delicious. Considering it was one am the attendant was friendly, very helpful and the cinnamon rolls were the perfect compliment to that sweet vanilla ice cream yummo!!!!”

“Nice on mountain ski lodge with basic foods and drinks but decent seating. Have a good array of indoor, partially outdoor, and outdoor seating between comet and dipper lifts. Food choices are limited and of varying quality. On weekends, they have the grills going with hot dogs, hamburgers, and sausages.typical prices for on mountain restaurants, meaning double the price you would expect in town.”

“We had a wonderful experience at Brews Brothers, Harrahs Lake Tahoe. Our bartender Travis was exceptional and the service was great . Very nice friendly atmosphere.”

“Went for my wife’s birthday, the service was stellar, and the views were amazing. Our servers name was Teddy, he was extremely attentive, gave great recommendations, checked on is frequently, was friendly and professional. I had the prime rib and my wife had the lobster, both were delicious and prepared exactly as ordered. The complimentary birthday dessert was a nice touch, and very tasty. The bill came and I was pleasantly surprised by the total, a great value. Will definitely go again.”

“It was our first time here and we may have hyped it up too much in our heads in anticipation. We were disappointed you couldn't watch them cooking in the kitchen. The food was good, but not outstanding. Here's what we ate and our opinion of each: Scallops - very fresh but the bacon didn't pair well with it; Filet - great cut of meat but not seasoned well enough to be eaten without the sauce (which was great). The roasted tomato served with it was delicious; Sticky toffee pudding - yummy and just the right amount of sweetness; Classic margarita - loved the salt and cilantro rim and the perfect touch of spice with the peppers! We'll be back to try other menu items and definitely to get drinks and dessert again.”

“We came in this weekend with a large group and were blown away. The bartenders were incredible, and we loved it so much we came back on Sunday. Highly recommend—prices are totally comparable to other tourist spots. If you want great food and then a full-on party, you have to check this place out.”
