“One of our birthday guy requested for BBQ while our ski trip in Lake Tahoe so we found out this place with good reviews on Yelp and would love to try it. This place not too far from South Lake Tahoe and not even 10 mis drive from Stateline. Step in around 7:30 pm and so crowded inside. Check-in with host and she said the wait time is about 45 mins for the party of 6 adults and 2 kids. Looks inside still have a few tables that available and also a few more unclean tables. Decided to wait because light snow is falling outside. Just about next 20 mins got the high table and we're so happy with that. Foods were great, ribs were amazing and moreover that is our server. He is so nice and attentive. Reasonable price and worth the wait. Definitely be back!!“
“The restaurant appears to have some nice features (bridge, rocks, and water feature), but the atmosphere is still missing something. It has a school cafeteria feel. The food was okay...it may be delicious to some, but a chicken thigh with waffles! I've always had a chicken breast with waffles, so that threw me off. The staff was really nice and attentive though!“

“Bert's has been a fixture in the Tahoe area for over many years. The food and the service are excellent. We recently went here on a weekday for breakfast and it was outstanding. The pancakes were hot fluffy and delicious, I ordered chilaquiles con huevos and they were awesome. Even though they were busy they served us quickly and the service and food was fantastic. I would highly recommend Bert's if you're in the Tahoe area.“

There is a large amount of outdoor seating with a small stage for musicians to play music for patrons. We scored an outside table after about a 15 minute wait on a Saturday. This is a nice area to people watch, listen to music and enjoy the Tahoe scenery. Our server was quick to greet us and take our orders. I ordered the Shamrockin'. This is an adult milkshake made with Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, Crème De Menthe, Vanilla Ice Cream, Chocolate Chips. This milk shake was awesome and I highly recommend it! I also ordered the buffalo cauliflower. The combination of breading on the cauliflower was delicious and the buffalo gave it a little heat, which was a great combo. A must visit spot for lunch or dinner!“

“Last weekend we spent here and had dinner. Best thing about this place is it’s open 24 hours and we hardly get options for having dinner late night. Food was yummy, specifically Jalapeno Poppers which are mild Jalapeno peppers stuffed with a rich cream and cheese. Staff were very friendly and overall service was good here. Decent and happening ambiance with good music. Definitely a worth visiting place.“
